1. Poem: MARCH SENTIMENTS! - Phan Thuc Dinh
MARCH SENTIMENTS!
Phan Thuc Dinh
(Dedicated to women on International Women's Day, March 8)
Spring leaves, dreaming of March
Waiting for purple crape myrtle to reach the spring
One day, suddenly, the rice is ripe
Looking out, who is happily strolling in the lane?
Turns out, March has arrived
The sun is caressing the buds outside the porch
The ao dai flirts with the wind
Bashfully, she quickly pulls the hem, beloved by him!
The sun applies a hint of rosy blush
So that he can admire the path she walks!
Wishing to be a pebble
Lifting her precious feet made of jade.
A cup of coffee, dripping gently
Inhaling the fragrance of mountain, mysterious clear eyes
Hearing somewhere the rhythm of paddles
Carrying his love, carrying joy, wandering in the season...
Please do not be indifferent!!!

2. Poem: MY WIFE - Van Lan
MY WIFE
Van Lan
(Dedicated to all wives on March 8)
My wife doesn't wear pink lipstick
Yet she wanders around the fields and farms
I've searched the vast world around
For the miracle in the mysterious rose.
I loved my wife in the old days, dreamily
Never once have I given her a flower
I look at her on the eighth of March
She's still the most beautiful, gentle, and warm.
I cherish my wife for being the one who reciprocates
Our children, like sturdy saplings, growing tall
It's blissful when thinking of a strong and steadfast wife
Whether in poverty or wealth, it doesn't matter.
Looking at my wife, sometimes majestic and stern
When I'm wrong, she expresses her anger and annoyance
But then, just a little scolding
And she's no longer angry, comforting and consoling.
There are times of pain and sorrow
Mother passed away, father reaching the age of departure
In difficulties, my wife never hesitates
Shouldering responsibilities like a true man.
I love my wife during sleepless nights
Other people's wives, how can they be complete
But my wife, on festive days, never
Asks for or demands a gift from the countryside.
Loving my wife, we've experienced many ups and downs
In the fields, sleepless nights without rest
Worrying about sick and ailing children
Struggling not only on play days but also on workdays.
I love my wife, although she's not perfect
Not competing, not jealous or envious
My wife chose me as her true husband
Fearless, facing all four seasons together with her.

3. Poem: A GIFT ON MARCH 8 FOR YOU! - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
A GIFT ON MARCH 8 FOR YOU!
Poem by: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
I ponder what to give you on this special day,
March 8 is challenging, I must say,
As a couple for decades, the struggle is real,
What to gift? I always feel the ordeal!
Shall I present a bouquet of vibrant red roses?
A card with wishes exclusively for you it proposes,
Sweet, simple greetings that gently sway,
Or watch you in the evening washing dishes away?
Perhaps, a gift with a touch of distinct charm,
Along with a bank transfer, easing any harm,
Let you organize the day in your own way,
All expenses covered, that's my say!
'You silly,' you say, 'for years you've not known,
It's not about money, nor love freshly sown,
Living for each other, sharing all,
That's true love, it's enough, not small!'
A bouquet sufficient to make brilliance bloom,
To remember our love, as it continues to consume,
To immerse in each other, eternally to presume,
It'll be beautiful - today, I'm entering the kitchen room!'
Listening to your contemplation, the dilemma is done,
This year's flowers are exquisite, for you, my only one,
A pink card for me, expressing love in tons,
A GIFT FOR YOU - TODAY, I'M DOING IT ALL

4. Poem: A GIFT FOR MARCH 8 - Hồ Viết Bình
A GIFT FOR MARCH 8
Hồ Viết Bình
Today on the 8th of March
Wife, daughter, granddaughter, what gift to embark?
Well, let me suggest this spark
The youngest granddaughter, a loving kiss from the heart.
Daughter now with a husband by her side
Surely, he's ready to gift a floral pride
Now it's just us two, side by side
Simple thinking, no flowers or gifts to provide
I just brewed a pot of tea so warm
We'll drink together, laughter in the norm
Every day you assist, in every form
So, on March 8th, a lifelong charm.
5. Poem: HEAD WASH - Duy Hạnh Trần
HAIR RITUAL
Poetry by Duy Hạnh Trần
Seemingly, a gentle breeze may blow
You just released your hair, making the day longer
The scent of oranges, pomelos around the house
To lure someone peeking and waiting outside
Smooth, silky strands of flowing threads
A wet waist... bewildering someone's heart!
Knowing there will still be another day
Yet, why wish for the length only for today
Fearing that winds of change may come
So, I desire a sunny day, deepening the color
For you to untangle your hair by the porch
The fragrance of pomelo flowers, gently soothing around the house
March, with dust and rain near and far
Someone is intoxicated, admiring another washing hair.

6. Poem: VIETNAMESE WOMEN! - Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
VIETNAMESE WOMEN!
Nguyễn Thị Khánh Hà
Vietnamese women are remarkably skilled
In every field, their prowess fulfilled
Managing home and serving the nation's will
Not just men, they share burdens, their strength still
Vietnamese women are resilient and strong
Worthy of the title, 'Three responsibilities' they don
State affairs and house chores, they handle with grace
Leading in many tasks, a confident embrace
Vietnamese women hold their heads high
In literature, martial arts, they're not shy
Football, chess, or the art of painting
In every domain, they stand out, never fainting...
