1. Student Flower - Xuân Diệu
Phượng isn't just a single blossom, not merely a few branches; this is an entire array, a whole expanse, a corner of the sky ablaze in red. Each flower is but a part of the vibrant community; people overlook individual blooms, only thinking of the tree, the row, the vast expanse of blossoms resembling countless tightly clustered butterflies.
But the redder the flowers, the greener the leaves. A mix of sadness and joy truly encapsulates the essence of the flamboyant tree. The flame blossom is the student flower. In spring, the flamboyant tree sprouts leaves. Dark green leaves, refreshing and tender, as delicious as tender young tamarind leaves. Initially folded, the leaves gradually spread out to be swayed by the wind. Oh, how the hearts of students flutter!
The student focuses on studies, eventually forgetting about the color of the flamboyant leaves. One day, out of the blue, a bright piece of news on the branches: flamboyant blossom season begins. When it's time to play, the student looks up in surprise: when did the flowers bloom so unexpectedly?
The dawn of the flamboyant flowers is still youthful red, becoming even more radiant if it rains. As spring progresses, the number of flowers increases, and the color deepens. Then, harmonizing with the blazing Sun, the flamboyant color resounds loudly: summer has arrived! Throughout the city, suddenly it gleams as if it were Lunar New Year, with every household pasting red couplets.

2. Flamboyant Tree - The Intimate Companion of Student Years
Spring has silently passed, quietly making way for the beloved summer. Another joyous season for mischievous students yet tinged with reluctance to leave the beloved school, teachers, friends, and dear flamboyant and banyan trees. The flamboyant, harboring students' secrets for years, now blooms in radiant red on every branch, igniting the schoolyard like a blazing fire. The melancholic cicadas also begin their echoing cries. Everything blends together, creating a magnificent painting.
From afar, the flamboyant seems to don a splendid red gown. Its sturdy trunk bears the marks of years of enduring rain and sun. The roots creep on the ground like playful snakes, celebrating the arrival of summer together. The redder the flamboyant flowers, the greener its leaves. Its branches stem from its mother, each flower stalk about eight inches long, slender, connecting the flower and the branch. The flowers are beautiful, resembling gemstones when glimpsed. The flamboyant blooms in clusters, a vibrant red embellishing the splendor of summer days at our school. Its vibrant red hue, yet so gentle.
Even a gentle breeze is enough to make flamboyant flowers fall to the ground. But this doesn't sadden the flamboyant; every day, it produces beautiful flowers of student years. And finally, those flamboyant flowers cover the entire tree. Who knows, amidst those vibrant red clusters, lies the longing of students for their teachers, friends, and school. The five flamboyant petals, smooth as velvet, shimmer under the summer sun, sometimes glowing as if containing fire and sunlight. Amidst the petals are the flower pistils, like golden fairy maidens emitting a fragrant scent, spreading throughout the garden.
The flamboyant flowers, like great heroes sacrificing for the beloved homeland. The yellow of the stamens resembles the color of Vietnamese people's skin. The flamboyant, like a red flag, a golden star. It symbolizes courage, love for the beloved homeland, reminding us of the sacrifice of fellow countrymen for the beloved homeland. The red color blends with the flamboyant flowers, serving as a reminder to us to remember the soldiers of the nation striving to study well for the future prosperity of the beloved homeland. We students consider the flamboyant as our intimate friend, sharing joys and sorrows.
Every playtime, we gather under the flamboyant to confide. Some friends proudly show off their perfect scores. Some wear a gloomy face due to unpleasant incidents. What could be better than sitting under the flamboyant, enjoying the refreshing feeling amidst the midday heat? Listening to the cicadas' chirps, which seem to dissolve fatigue and tension after class. In the bustling atmosphere, the flamboyant stands silently, watching us play and frolic, its eyes suddenly sparkling, waving in the sun.
Then, we pick flamboyant branches to play cockfighting. We gather in groups of five, three, unaware that the flamboyant is also awaiting the outcome. The flamboyant, like the intimate companion of our student years. The flamboyant heralds various events for students. It signals that summer has arrived, time to rest after a semester. A stressful year has come to a joyful end. But the important thing is that the flamboyant signals it's time to leave school, teachers, and friends. But no matter how far apart, it always remains in the hearts and minds of everyone. The flamboyant marks a turning point in academic life, yet thinking of leaving school, teachers, and friends still feels anxious.
The seniors are even more worried because it's time for crucial exams. Why do we, students, love the flamboyant so much? Every time we see flamboyant flowers or hear the cicadas chirping, our hearts are overwhelmed. That's why the flamboyant is the cherished memory of students. For many, summer is simply one of the four seasons, neither more nor less. But for those who have experienced the white-shirted days, summer is nostalgia, mood, and deep in our souls, there's an eager anticipation for summer to come.
Flamboyant, cicadas, we students will never forget you. Thanks to you, we understand how enjoyable summer is. Summer brings us the colors of beloved childhood. We will never forget the red of the flamboyant. Friends, please don't cut down the flamboyant, catch the cicadas, don't ruin our summer, okay?

3. Majestic Flamboyant Tree in Our Schoolyard
The flamboyant tree is a commonly planted species in schools. Surrounding our school are flamboyant trees, with clusters of vibrant red flowers adorning a corner of the sky in summer, signaling a season of farewells to friends, school, and teachers once again.
The flamboyant tree in our school is quite large, perhaps it was planted by the first generations of teachers and students of the school you are currently attending. By our generation, it has grown and occupies a fairly large area in the schoolyard. The trunk of the tree is very thick, it takes a few of us to hug it. The roots of the tree are well developed, protruding above the ground, unintentionally serving as seats for students at school. The flamboyant tree has many branches, large and small branches stretching high and wide to embrace the sunlight.
The flamboyant leaves are very special, each branch has many leaf branches, and each leaf branch has many leaflets. Because the flamboyant leaves are so small, an entire flamboyant tree does not create shade, the sunlight passing through the leaves shines down on the yard like beautiful small patches of light. Every summer, the entire flamboyant tree is immersed in the chirping of cicadas, very noisy but pleasant to the ears. The flamboyant flower clusters begin to bloom, then the entire flamboyant tree blossoms, covering the green branches and leaves, looking from afar, the flamboyant tree paints a corner of the sky in vibrant red.
If there were no cicadas, no flamboyant flower clusters, who would know when summer had arrived. We often pick flamboyant flowers to make into butterflies and then press them into notebooks as if to preserve memories. The blooming of flamboyant flowers signals the arrival of summer, the exam season, the farewell season to teachers, friends, and beloved school, making everyone feel excited. Then the flamboyant flowers wither, forming long, curved flamboyant pods that some boys often pick to make swords. When all the flamboyant pods have fallen, the flamboyant tree sheds its leaves and waits for spring to sprout fresh green leaves.
The flamboyant tree still stands there witnessing many generations of students growing up from here. Even far from school, I will always remember the flamboyant tree as a friend of a student's time.

4. Flamboyant Flowers Signaling the Arrival of Summer
In the middle of our schoolyard stands tall a flamboyant tree, flourishing with clusters of vibrant flowers, signaling another summer beginning for us.
The flamboyant tree has been around for many years. Its trunk is so thick that several of us hugging it cannot encompass its girth. Beneath the flamboyant tree, there are various sizes of roots. Some protrude several meters above the ground before burrowing back down. Some twist and turn, while others remain straight. The flamboyant canopy spreads wide like a pilot's canopy covering a vast area of the yard, providing shade for us youngsters. Atop the tall flamboyant branches, birds often come here to sing melodiously, making the schoolyard not only resound with the voices of children but also reverberate with a life-affirming choir of birds.
Amidst the vast sky, the flamboyant clusters emerge in a vibrant red hue as if someone had set off a cluster of fireworks on New Year's Eve to welcome the new millennium. This image remains etched in my mind whenever the mournful sound of cicadas begins to reverberate on the flamboyant branches, and the flamboyant begins to bloom, heralding the arrival of summer. The impending summer is like the flamboyant flaunting its brilliance, a temporal hallmark urging us youngsters to quickly study and prepare for the upcoming exams. And this is also the time to mentally prepare to bid farewell to each other in the forthcoming months of summer filled with nostalgia and longing.
And then, there are the innocent, naive diary pages filled with feelings of friendship. Among them may be memories, both happy and sad, with the pink flamboyant flowers pressed dry into blood-red butterflies, reminiscent of the days spent studying together under this flamboyant tree. And later, the summer rains will come, dyeing the entire schoolyard red like the explosion of fireworks. And many schoolmates, like me, will feel a pang of sadness at the sight of the withering flowers. But then, summer will pass, a new school year will come, and the flamboyant tree will sprout new shoots and leaves! And so, the flamboyant will bloom again, painting the sky red, signaling the end of another school year. And summer will come again.
Bidding farewell to the vibrant flamboyant flowers, my heart once again feels stirred and melancholic as I have to part with the beloved flamboyant tree, bidding farewell to the friends I've studied with, filled with countless cherished memories.

5. The Flamboyant Tree: A Treasure Trove of Memories Under the School Roof
In our schoolyard, there are many types of trees: banyan trees, sycamores, linden trees, flamboyant trees. Each species has its own characteristics and beauty. But my favorite is the flamboyant tree right under the flagpole.
I don't know how long this flamboyant tree has been here, but since I stepped into this school, it has stood proudly under the flagpole. Every summer, it blooms with vibrant red flowers in one corner. My teacher always says that the color of flamboyant flowers represents the color of student life. This flamboyant tree is taller than our school building, with branches and leaves sprawling to create a very cool shade. Its trunk is gnarled, with many knots protruding. The leaves of the flamboyant tree resemble those of the cashew tree, but they are slightly longer.
Underneath the tree, there are large and long roots creeping out onto the ground like silent snakes sleeping soundly. These roots are where we always sit during playtime. We discuss everything and play special games under this flamboyant tree. One very interesting game is drawing a large circle around the flamboyant tree, dividing into two groups, one inside the circle and one outside. The outside group will chase the inside group, and we run around the flamboyant tree tirelessly. Whenever there's a breeze, the flamboyant branches sway, creating a delightful sound. Sunlight filtering through the leaves shines into our classroom windows.
On Monday mornings, our school holds flag-raising ceremonies. As we look up at the fluttering flag against the vast sky, we also see the flamboyant branches frolicking as if waving to us. When summer arrives, the cicadas chirp incessantly on the branches. In May, flamboyant flowers begin to bloom, painting a corner of the schoolyard red. We often pick up fallen flamboyant petals and press them into our notebooks to create the most beautiful butterflies. Everyone enjoys pressing flowers into the blank pages.
The flamboyant tree in the schoolyard is my friend, and I have many memories associated with this tree. Perhaps, even after leaving this school, I will always remember this flamboyant tree under the flagpole.

6. The Image of Flamboyant Trees in Blossom Season Is Etched Deep in My Mind
Every year, as late spring arrives, we students make friends with the flamboyant flowers. The flamboyant tree in the corner of our schoolyard brings joy to the summer scenery. Perhaps, this is the tree I love the most.
The flamboyant tree is quite large. Underneath its trunk, my arms can barely reach around it. Time has dressed the tree in a rugged brown coat. Its flamboyant leaves spread out, soft and reminiscent of cashew leaves. The leaf canopy resembles a large umbrella providing shade over a small piece of sky. The branches of the flamboyant tree sway gracefully, adorned with clusters of vibrant red flowers. Each flower is like a red lantern lit amidst the lush green foliage. But here, the flamboyant tree is not just one flower, not a few flowers, but it blooms in clusters, in branches that seem to contain fire, contain sunlight. With a gentle breeze, each flower petal flutters like delicate pink butterflies dancing among the green leaves.
Occasionally, some flowers detach from the branches, swaying hesitantly in the direction of the wind before gracefully falling under the corner of the schoolyard. High up on the branches, cicadas chirp loudly, and birds chirp as if they too are mesmerized by the flamboyant flowers. Under the cool shade of that tree, we gather to play, some chasing after the drifting flowers. Sometimes, I silently wonder: 'Oh flamboyant tree! How long have you been so beautiful?' Seeing the flamboyant flowers bloom fills my heart with even more excitement, heightening my joy. The flamboyant tree reminds us that exam season is approaching, summer has arrived, and it's time for all students to reap the fruits of their studies.
The image of flamboyant trees in blossom season is etched deep in my mind. Eventually, we will leave this beloved school, away from the majestic flamboyant tree in the corner of the schoolyard that holds so many memories. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we will always remember our childhood school, where we had dear friends, caring teachers, and the solemn flamboyant tree standing there, waiting every day.

7. Student Blossoms - A Fond and Endearing Name for the Flamboyant Flowers
'Student blossoms.' Someone has affectionately and fondly referred to flamboyant flowers in such a way. Perhaps it's because the flamboyant tree is so closely associated and familiar to the student age, blooming flowers signaling the arrival of summer.
No one knows when the flamboyant tree was planted. I only remember seeing it standing tall in the schoolyard on the first day of first grade. It's like an old friend intimately connected to the school. From afar, the flamboyant tree resembles a cool green umbrella, shading a large area of the courtyard. Its trunk is as thick as two students' arms. The bark is rough and weathered, covered in a silvery brown hue from sun and rain. Large, gnarled roots protrude from the ground. From the trunk, numerous branches spread out like outstretched arms welcoming the cool breeze.
The flamboyant leaves are dark green, refreshing, and smooth like young cashew leaves. The leaves grow parallel on both sides of the stem, resembling the tail feathers of a phoenix. Flamboyant flowers have five soft, velvety petals. The flower stalks are long and curved. Thanks to the wide canopy of the flamboyant tree, we have a place to chat, review lessons, and relax after stressful hours of study. The flamboyant's splendid season is when it proudly displays its red hue against the vast blue sky. That's summer. At this time, flamboyant flowers shine brightly in a corner of the sky thanks to the red color of the flowers arranged in large clusters. The flamboyant flower season is also when the cicadas sing their melancholic tunes.
Then summer passes, and the ground is littered with the red hues of fallen flamboyant petals. On the branches, young and slender flamboyant fruits begin to appear. The vibrant flamboyant flower season comes to an end. The old flamboyant tree returns to its familiar appearance, continuing to warmly welcome us to school every day with our bags swinging cheerfully.
I love my school for its simple natural beauty, and I love the flamboyant tree associated with the summer image like a dear little friend. That image will forever live on in my heart alongside teachers, classmates, as the most beautiful memory.

8. Flamboyant - A Tale from Grandma's Fairy Tales
As summer begins to paint the sky azure, a lush green hue envelops the landscape, adorned by grass, flowers, and leaves. A gentle breeze wafts by, stirring the flamboyant tree in the corner of the schoolyard, awakening the dormant buds. The flamboyant, along with us, the students, welcomes the arrival of the beautiful summer. And perhaps, this is the tree I cherish the most.
Just the other day, the flamboyant tree had sparse branches and leaves. It appeared almost lifeless. A moment of inattention, and today I am truly astonished. The foliage spreads out like a giant umbrella shading a corner of the schoolyard. The flamboyant tree has begun to ignite! At this moment, I suddenly remember: Summer has arrived!
In the early days of summer, the flamboyant tree sporadically blooms like butterfly wings. Then, numerous clusters of flowers sparkle and shine brightly all over the branches. Countless buds transform into vibrant red blossoms. Gazing at the clusters of flowers on the branches, I recall my grandmother's tale: Long ago, when the earth was still cold and desolate, the Jade Emperor sent his offspring to the mortal realm to warm all creatures. But his children were threatened by evil forces, so the Jade Emperor chose the flamboyant tree to hang the Sun, where his offspring could take refuge.
Oh! The flamboyant tree has a marvelous past. A glorious, majestic, and adorable past!... I love the freshly bloomed flowers. I adore the flourishing blossoms and cherish the fluttering petals. I love the rugged, silvery trunk, where we, the students, gather in groups of seven or five. Sometimes, we carve our names on that simple brown trunk, then look up at the tree to catch falling flowers.
And the anticipation comes to fruition. Petals of crimson flamboyant flowers drift onto the grass, with every passing second, as we, the students, bid farewell. The flamboyant flowers fall, fall...The flamboyant tree rustles, sways as the students depart. The flamboyant tree loves us so dearly. I, too, love the flamboyant tree immensely. The flamboyant tree has etched deeply into my memory, strengthening my bond with the school, with my class.
During summer days, the school gate is tightly shut. The school is quiet, devoid of drumbeats, devoid of laughter. The flamboyant tree stands alone amidst the serene space. I rejoice in the summer, yet I cannot forget my beloved school, where the flamboyant tree stands solemnly, awaiting each day...I reminisce about every branch, every leaf gap, remembering every flower bud, every fluttering petal beneath the schoolyard. I yearn to find this place amidst the desolate summer days.
Oh, the flamboyant tree is truly adorable, simple, yet splendid, embellishing the school scene. The flamboyant has adorned the school scenery beautifully. For me, the flamboyant is the most beautiful flower.

9. The Aged Flamboyant Tree in Our School
Standing by the school gate is the aged flamboyant tree. One afternoon in May, I sat beneath its shade, admiring the vibrant flowers, a herald of yet another summer beginning.
The flamboyant tree is quite old now, as the school caretaker recounted, when this school was built, the headmaster planted the flamboyant tree as a commemoration. Twenty years have passed, and the flamboyant tree is now twenty years old. It stands wide with arms spread, sheltering us beneath its cool shade. Under the flamboyant's canopy, a large root, gnarled and winding, resembles a slithering serpent. Its bark, weathered and silvery, resembles the color of aged earth. Around the tree's base, a five-meter diameter circle has been constructed. The brick rim holds the soil, providing us with a cemented area to sit and play.
During lunch breaks, sitting on the brick rim, we delight in watching the flamboyant tree cast its shade over the playground. Its trunk is robust, rugged, and barren. The lower part of the rounded trunk makes us believe it will soar high, but no, it only rises a little over two meters before splitting into two, from which these trunk parts diverge and grow diagonally upward, sprawling in all directions. The flamboyant's canopy spreads wide like a giant parasol shading a corner of the yard, where birds nest and chirp joyfully all day long. From the branches, the flamboyant leaves spread out with a regular array of leaf bones, symmetrically aligned. On these leaf bones, the leaf blades spread symmetrically.
Amidst the vast sky, amidst the sea of dark green leaves, the flamboyant flowers stand out, ablaze and majestic under the summer sun; cool and gentle in the fading afternoon sunlight; charming and adorable in the fresh, cool mornings. Now in the summer, the branches burst into clusters of flowers like blazing red flames. Each flower petal resembles a fluttering butterfly wing. A cluster of flowers in the wind is like butterflies gathering. As long as it's summer, the flamboyant will continue to bloom, providing a bright sky for childhood, preserving those notebooks filled with neat handwriting, with innocent words that hold so many emotions.
Suddenly, the atmosphere becomes lively as cicadas start chirping on the tree branches. The sound of cicadas resounds. One cicada chirps, two cicadas chirp...a whole orchestra of cicadas chimes in. The flamboyant branches sway intensely, the soft branches quivering amidst the green leaves and red flowers. After the exam season, the butterfly-shaped flamboyant flowers flutter in the students' notebooks. Today, the green leaf canopy suddenly gleams with a fiery red hue. The red hue blends into my mind, the red ink of remarks, the scores from teachers, the red of flamboyant flowers against the red tiles of the school building whispering softly: Another summer vacation is approaching.

10. Flamboyant - The Memory Umbrella
In our schoolyard, there are many trees providing shade, such as banyan trees and fig trees. But for me, the most beautiful and majestic is still the flamboyant tree, located in the center of the yard.
From afar, the flamboyant tree resembles a giant umbrella with green and red spots. Its trunk is dark brown, rugged, soaked with moss. Up close, I see its branches twisting and turning like snakes on the ground. The flamboyant leaves change with each season. In winter, the tree sheds all its leaves, exposing knobby branches like hands reaching out for something from time. When spring arrives, the drizzling raindrops awaken the tiny buds. In just one night, the flamboyant adorns itself with a beautiful new green coat. From the budding leaves to the blooming flowers, it doesn't take long. The flamboyant flowers are exquisite: small and beautiful like clusters of white buttons sewn together. As spring turns to summer, the flamboyant begins to bloom. Each flamboyant flower has five delicate petals, glowing red. The flamboyant flowers have a scent unlike any other, a fragrance only us students understand. On hot summer days, what could be more enjoyable than playing and frolicking with friends under the cool shade of this tree! We often share stories of our school days under its branches. Some mischievous ones use flamboyant flower petals for cockfighting, while others challenge the flamboyant leaves to become pretty butterflies pressed into notebooks.
The flamboyant tree is most beautiful in May, when the entire tree bursts into a vibrant red amidst the clear blue sky. At that time, the flamboyant exudes an elegant and adorable charm. As we look up at the flamboyant tree, we can't help but exclaim: Oh! So beautiful! So beautiful! As the flamboyant flowers fade, the fallen petals scatter, turning the entire schoolyard into a carpet of red velvet. On the flamboyant branches, long flamboyant pods resembling velvet apples sway gently in the wind.

11. Flamboyant - a pure red of sunshine and wind
When it comes to the flamboyant tree, one cannot forget its vibrant red color - a red hue thanks to the purity of the wind, sun, and heat of nature in the summer.
The flower clusters embrace the petals like a mother embracing her beloved child. Inside the flower cluster are petals, flamboyant red petals, delicate but they create a fresh and beautiful look for each flamboyant flower. Inside the flower is a red stigma, containing nectar and pollen, the flower nectar for the little bees, diligently coming to collect. Around mid-May, the sound of cicadas resounds continuously on the majestic flamboyant branches, signaling the arrival of summer, urging us students to focus on studying to achieve high academic results.
On hot sunny summer afternoons, during playtime when it's scorching hot due to mischief, the flamboyant tree serves as a cool shade for us. Standing under the flamboyant tree, looking up at the sky, it seems we cannot see the azure blue of the sky but only see within the flamboyant branches a green hue and many spots of red from the flamboyant flowers. The golden sun rays penetrate through the branches and leave the silhouette of flamboyant flowers on the ground. In early June, we students happily prepare to go home, eagerly welcoming an exciting summer. But there are also tears shed having to leave school, teachers, friends, and the cherished memories under the beloved school, under the flamboyant tree, lonely under the golden sunshine.
The flamboyant tree is sad when separated from students; occasionally, a gentle breeze blows through, and another flower falls... Three long summer months pass, without laughter, without the sound of drums, the flamboyant tree is empty. The flamboyant tree still releases its red petals onto the schoolyard, the flamboyant tree still counts every second, every minute when far from students. Three summer months pass, the school year begins again. The flamboyant tree longs and waits eagerly to meet students again.
Former students come to visit the school, shedding small tears. Those tears are filled with memories, longing for the school, teachers, friends, memories under the flamboyant tree, and longing for the flamboyant tree... In their hearts, they are filled with memories, filled with the beloved red color of the flamboyant flower. The flamboyant tree welcomes former students and joyfully awaits the new faces of the school. Everywhere there is laughter and joy, the flamboyant tree is happy, the flamboyant tree cries but it is a cry filled with joy, the sorrow of the flamboyant tree has been shared to some extent.
In the autumn, the flamboyant tree withers, its golden leaves falling all over the schoolyard. Students are sad, not being able to hear, see, and admire the flamboyant tree as much. The flamboyant tree only blooms in the summer, who knows who it blooms for? The flamboyant tree is like an invisible friend, leaving behind memories of school days. I love the flamboyant tree - the beloved tree of students.

12. Flamboyant - Symbol of a Beautiful, Innocent Youth
Across our country, there are many types of flowers, each symbolizing different meanings. Roses represent love, carnations represent peace, and have you ever wondered which flower symbolizes the innocent youth of our school days? That would be the flamboyant flower, a very familiar species in our schoolyard.
In our school, the flamboyant tree in the middle of the courtyard is probably the oldest. Because while other trees only need one person to hug them, it takes two or three people to hug the flamboyant tree completely, but the flamboyant tree is different. Once, we tried to guess how many of us could hug the flamboyant tree, but none of us guessed it right, seven of us holding hands around the flamboyant tree trunk and still not enough. I don't know when the flamboyant tree was planted, because since stepping into first grade, I've seen the old flamboyant tree standing tall in the courtyard, waving its branches and leaves to welcome me. The flamboyant tree has been accompanying generations of students at the school. Looking at the tree trunk not as tall as the other trees in the school, on the trunk are many large knobs, the flamboyant branches spread out to provide shade for a large courtyard. Perhaps because it's old, the flamboyant tree trunk is clad in a dark brown coat of time, the roots are so big that they are exposed all over the ground.
We students like the flamboyant tree the most when it blooms. Because then the flamboyant tree looks different, a bright red color like flames illuminates a large sky, and at the same time, we get to listen to the best music composed by the most special musicians, that is, the diligent cicadas. But most importantly for us students is to have summer vacation, students, everyone likes to have a break, to go out and play. A new school year begins when the flamboyant tree changes into a beautiful new green coat, at this time, the flamboyant fruits start to grow, long and thin, so we often pick them to make toys.
I really love my school, love my class, friends, teachers, and also love the old flamboyant tree that is with us every day during the good lessons of the teachers. I hope the flamboyant tree will accompany me throughout the remaining time in elementary school and even beyond.

12. Flamboyant - Symbol of a Beautiful, Innocent Youth

13. Flamboyant Blooms - Summer's Calling of Cicadas
Oh, the summer cicadas' call, oh, the sunbeams awaken the flamboyant tree after its winter slumber. Summer has arrived, and I once again indulge in admiring the majestic flamboyant tree in my schoolyard.
The flamboyant tree in the schoolyard has been planted by the caretakers for quite some time. It has a fairly tall trunk, with its gray-brown bark prominently contrasting with the green of the leaves. Being a tropical tree, planted for shade, its branches spread widely, leaves growing in layers full of vitality. The flamboyant leaves are a vibrant green as spring arrives, shyly unfurling like bashful maidens, gradually spreading out to welcome the radiant summer sunbeams. The flamboyant tree seems to want to keep pace with the summer sky, as its green leaves turn into fiery red blooms, adorning the branches like flames. That is the flamboyant flower, so brilliantly red, not just one blossom but thousands of clusters. Growing intermittently among the green branches, the flamboyant flowers reveal fiery eyes, gazing into space.
From afar, the flamboyant tree resembles a colorful umbrella amidst the vast blue sky with drifting clouds. It seems that the more vivid the flamboyant flowers bloom, the greener the leaves become, a joyous blaze and a sorrowful mark perhaps embodying the essence of the flamboyant tree. Perhaps it's happy because summer has come, bringing a fresh breath to every cell in the tree, yet it's also sad because summer means students stepping into exam season, then summer vacation arrives, and the flamboyant tree is lonely once again. The flamboyant tree, oh dear, someone told me that it's also a place of rendezvous, where infatuated young girls in white dresses shyly laugh with their lovers, a place where encounters begin and reunions are promised. That's why the flamboyant tree carries both joy and contains much sadness.
The flamboyant tree is a tropical plant, fond of heat and loathing the cold. Every time the harsh winter passes by, it's when the flamboyant tree must endure severe trials. The flamboyant tree stands bare, with no leaves on its stark branches, its trunk aged and blackened. The sky is gloomy, gusts of wind sway the remaining small clusters of blossoms on the branches. I look at the flamboyant tree with pity because now it no longer has the vitality it once had. The brilliance, the warmth replaced by the trembling of the branches and the melancholy of the absent green leaves. And then winter passes, spring beckons the branches and leaves, and summer resounds with the cicadas' call, waking the flamboyant flowers.
The gentle summer breeze on the swaying leaves of the flamboyant tree welcomes the clear blue sky without a hint of gloomy clouds. The flamboyant flower season has come and gone, the red petals scattered around the base of the tree, it's also the time when we start familiar games. Picking the flowers, plucking each stamen for cockfighting, friends like me often adorn our hair with flamboyant flowers to play. Or we find small fallen leaves woven into fresh green laurel wreaths worn on our heads, draped around our necks.
At that moment, I feel proud because I have a laurel wreath made from the beloved flamboyant tree's leaves. The school years pass quietly, with friends, classmates, and the flamboyant tree preserving countless memories of childhood dreams. I wonder if, when we grow up and return to our beloved school, whispering in the flamboyant tree's ear, asking if it remembers us, asking the flamboyant tree about the memories of our beautiful childhood. I smile with delight, perhaps when we grow up, we won't have the chance to admire the flamboyant tree, to witness its true beauty as when we used to walk to school.
The flamboyant tree is beautiful and poetic. A shade tree for generations of students. I will always remember, always love my school's flamboyant flower.

14. Ancient Flamboyant Tree - A Close Companion of Many Generations of Students
The beautiful spring fairy quietly bid farewell long ago, and the land welcomed a lively summer with warmth and vibrancy. Summer arrived with its dazzling golden sunshine, making the flowers more fragrant and the trees more lush. A gentle breeze swept through, causing the flamboyant trees in our schoolyard to stir, awakening the still slumbering buds.
The flamboyant tree in our schoolyard has been planted since the school was established. Its age coincides with that of the school. The trunk is tall, thick, and rugged, with prominent knots protruding like lumps, indicating that the tree has aged considerably. The branches stretch out to form a giant green canopy, providing shade for the entire playground. The roots, large and sturdy, protrude above the ground, resembling sleeping snakes. On the branches, the flamboyant leaves spread evenly and symmetrically. The green color of the leaves is like tender young rice, creating a pleasant feeling when observed. Although the summer is lush, the flamboyant sheds its leaves in winter, leaving only bare branches like combs for the sky. The flamboyant blossoms also signal the arrival of summer.
On the branches, the cicadas have sung their summer song, becoming a distinctive sign that no one can forget when summer is mentioned. In the early days of summer, the flamboyant tree still bears a few hidden buds among its green foliage. Then, as the sunlight becomes intense and dazzling, the red buds suddenly burst open, catching students by surprise, making them wonder: 'When did the flamboyant bloom so unexpectedly?'
Amidst the vast sky, the lush green leaves and the vibrant red flamboyant flowers confidently and proudly stand out. The brighter the sun shines, the more radiant the flamboyant becomes. A flamboyant flower consists of many clusters, each cluster containing 4-5 petals resembling butterfly wings, gently embracing the golden stamens inside. Each flower is like a blazing red flame, illuminating the entire corner of the playground. From a distance, the tree looks like it is ablaze. The diligent bees come to each flower to collect nectar, along with the chirping of cicadas, creating a colorful summer painting.
The flamboyant tree fills the hearts of students with excitement as another exam season approaches, looking at the red flamboyant flowers, knowing the anticipation and anxiety it brings. Beneath the old tree, we exchange passionately in our studies, flamboyant petals falling onto our clothes, leaving behind a pure fragrance. For graduating students about to leave the school, the flamboyant is preserved in the pages of student notebooks to evoke memories of a beautiful time spent with teachers and friends. The corner of the yard where the ancient flamboyant tree stands witnesses many farewells filled with nostalgia and lingering affection, with innocent and heartfelt words flowing abundantly, expressing emotions that are often hard to convey.
During the summer days, as the students all leave, the school gate closes, no more drum sounds, no more laughter and chatter, the flamboyant stands alone, melancholy, looking at the deserted scene. And then, when the three-month summer ends, the school reopening day arrives, the flamboyant welcomes back the students with open arms, once again becoming a close friend of the small students.

15. Flamboyant Blossoms - Another school year ends, a new one begins
Within our schoolyard, there are many trees planted to provide shade and scenery such as: banyan, fig, and betel palm,...But the one that is closest and most familiar to me is the old flamboyant tree in the middle of the yard.
This tree has been planted for a long time, so it is tall and massive. From afar, the flamboyant tree looks like a giant green umbrella in full bloom. Its canopy stretches all the way to the third floor of our school. Its branches spread out in all directions, gracefully swaying. The flamboyant roots protrude from the ground like brownish snakes searching for food. Its leaves resemble meadow leaves, thin, dark green, growing parallel on both sides of the stalk, resembling the tail of a phoenix, perhaps that's why it's called Flamboyant. Unlike the banyan tree, the flamboyant doesn't shed its leaves, but in spring, it sprouts new leaves to replace the old ones. The new leaves are fresh green, tender, and delicious like meadow leaves. The flamboyant tree leans gracefully.
As spring passes, summer arrives, and the flamboyant begins to bloom. The flamboyant blossoms simultaneously, forming clusters of vibrant red, resembling a platter of ripe red gac fruit. Flamboyant flowers have five petals, four bright red petals and one petal with white spots. The flower's stigma resembles an oval powder bag, resembling a butterfly's antennae. We often play cockfighting with that stigma. So, under the flamboyant tree, there's loud cheering. When the cicadas sing loudly on the flamboyant tree, it's the time when the flamboyant blooms the most. A vivid red color adorns the tree. At that moment, the old flamboyant tree rejuvenates, bursting with vitality. The flamboyant blossoms urge me on for one last exam season of the school year, preparing for summer vacation filled with plans and joys.
After summer, the flamboyant flowers gradually wither. With every gust of wind, flamboyant petals fall scattered on the yard like fallen fireworks. The schoolyard looks beautiful, like a flower carpet. We sweep the yard but reluctantly want to keep our beloved flamboyant petals. When the flowers are gone, the flamboyant bears long, slender, green, swaying young fruits on its branches. Flamboyant fruits belong to the legume family. When roasted, flamboyant seeds are crunchy and delicious. The old flamboyant tree returns to its familiar simple appearance.
I love the flamboyant tree, it's like a close elder friend. Under the flamboyant tree, we gather with friends. Every time the flamboyant blooms with the cicadas' chirping marking the end of a school year, a maturation process, then we excitedly step into a new school year with many exciting things ahead.

The flamboyant tree in our school has been planted for a long time. Perhaps it was planted when the school was first established, so its age has become the age of the school. The tree trunk is large, rugged, with protruding knots that require two people to embrace. From the trunk, branches spread out in all directions. The branches resemble thin arms combing the clouds. The canopy is green and wide, appearing like a giant umbrella covering a part of the schoolyard. The flamboyant leaves are young green, as small as meadow leaves, just a gentle breeze is enough to witness a shower of flamboyant leaves. Each time the sunlight shines through the leaves, it creates countless tiny dots that imprint on the schoolyard.
The roots are large and sturdy, with some roots protruding from the ground like crawling snakes. As spring turns to summer, when the familiar chorus of cicadas plays, it's also the time when flamboyant blossoms. The flamboyant and cicadas have become the characteristic features that come to mind when thinking of summer. It seems like just yesterday they were tiny buds, small and cute, today, the flamboyant blooms brightly without warning, surprising everyone.
The flamboyant is not just a flower, not just a branch, it's a sky full of vibrant red. Flamboyant flowers have five delicate petals, thin as butterfly wings, embracing the golden stigma. Each red flamboyant blossom resembles a burning flame, forming countless clustered butterflies. Amidst the green leaves, the flamboyant proudly stands out, embellishing the sky with vibrant fireworks. The flamboyant lights up a corner of the schoolyard, in the early morning sun, it's fresh and vibrant. The countless flower petals fall like a gentle rain under the summer showers, amidst the regret of students.
Flamboyant is affectionately referred to as the flower of student life – a name full of poetic essence encapsulating the joys, sorrows, and confessions of the best years of one's life. The flamboyant is present in every corner of the student's life. The flamboyant peeks outside the classroom window, listening to the teacher's lectures. Now it's time to play, under the cool shade of the flamboyant, we gather together, play and chat. Looking at the vibrant red flamboyant, every student's heart is restless, anxious: another exam season is approaching. Now the flamboyant witnesses the worries and hardships of studying. 17. The Flamboyant Flower - A Close Friend of Students
The phoenix tree has long been a close companion to many students, witnessing countless joys and sorrows of school life. Whenever we reminisce about our innocent and carefree school days, it's impossible to forget the image of the old phoenix tree standing in the middle of the schoolyard like a silent guardian.
Perhaps no one remembers when the phoenix tree was planted in the schoolyard. Its trunk is tall and stout, requiring two people to wrap their arms around it fully. The canopy is lush and expansive, resembling a giant umbrella shading the entire schoolyard from afar. The older phoenix trees have roots protruding above the ground, resembling earthworms crawling around. Its leaves are small and green like meadow leaves, easily falling off at the slightest breeze. The branches resemble thin arms reaching towards the azure sky. Each time the sunlight shines through the foliage, it creates beautiful specks of light on the schoolyard. The phoenix tree is known affectionately as the 'student flower'. Every summer, as the chorus of cicadas resonates, the phoenix blossoms in full bloom. What was once tiny buds have now turned into vibrant red flowers, creating a crimson sky. The phoenix flowers, with their five delicate petals resembling butterfly wings, embrace golden stamens within. Clusters of phoenix flowers form a fiery spectacle, illuminating a corner of the schoolyard like fireworks against the blue sky. In the early morning sunlight, the phoenix appears fresh and invigorating, with dewdrops glistening on its petals. After each rain shower, the red hue of the flowers seems to soften, and countless phoenix petals fall onto the schoolyard, symbolizing the students' fond farewells.
Every time the phoenix blooms, we know that another exam season is approaching, prompting us to study diligently and diligently. The phoenix sways outside the classroom window, occasionally peeking into the classroom to observe us studying. It understands the students' worries as the exam season approaches. During recess, students rush to the schoolyard and sit under the shade of the phoenix, where the tree gently watches us study or play games. Every graduating student cannot forget the sight of the phoenix flowers as they prepare to leave the beloved school, bidding farewell to teachers, friends, and the old phoenix tree. The moment of parting under the phoenix tree is filled with nostalgia and warmth, becoming a deeply engraved memory. Students exchange notebooks adorned with pressed phoenix flowers, embracing warmly instead of saying a final goodbye. And when the summer vacation arrives, and all the students have left, only the phoenix stands quietly, gazing at the schoolyard, reminiscing about the laughter and chatter of the students.
Perhaps the school days of each person would not be complete without the phoenix tree with its fiery red flowers burning like flames every summer. Is it because the phoenix has witnessed so much joy and sorrow, along with the beautiful memories of our school days, that it has become so special in the hearts of students?
