17. The Ghost Father (2019)
The Ghost Father follows college student Van Nhi (Ngoc Duyen) who is hired as a nanny for Kitty (little Chieu Nghi), the daughter of wealthy owner Thanh (Phuong Anh Dao). Van Nhi is asked to move into the mansion to take care of Kitty while Thanh is away on business. Van Nhi is excited about her new life in the luxurious house. However, during her time at the mansion, she faces terrifying unexplained phenomena at night.
Every night, the mysterious lullaby of the 'ghost father' echoes, and Kitty confirms it as 'dad singing to put me to sleep.' Van Nhi also has a close relationship with her music teacher (Dan Truong) at the university. This character's name is not disclosed, adding to the mystery: Could he be related to the 'ghost father' story in that house?
