1. Women Speak Three Times More Than Men
When it comes to women talking more, probably no one denies it! Not only through personal observations but also backed by experimental research, scientists have presented an astounding figure! On average, in a day, women speak about 20,000 words, while men, on the other hand, utter only about 7,000 words.
This reveals that our sisters enjoy casual conversations, and men are quite skilled at listening, aren't they?

2. The Quantity of Their Shoes!
For women, it's not just about having a good pair of shoes; they also desire to buy all the beautiful ones! So, it's no wonder that, on average, every woman owns up to 25 pairs of shoes! This number might surprise our ladies, but think carefully if you've ever had that many shoes? Especially high heels, every girl wants a few pairs, and a few more of other types...
Seeing all those shoes, there might be a guy who can't help but exclaim: 'Are you a centipede!'. Because only a centipede would need that many shoes!

3. Women Own Small Plots but Produce A Lot
According to Care.org, with a series of statistics, they concluded that women produce about 50% of the world's food but only own 1% of the agricultural land.
This shows that our ladies have a knack for farming. With their skill and careful nurturing, they bring about such high productivity! Truly something to be appreciated, isn't it?

4. 22 Countries with Women at the Helm of State
Among the 197 countries worldwide, a staggering 22 countries have women holding the highest positions of power, constituting 11.2%. March 8th is not only a day to honor women worldwide but also a day to commemorate a world with equality between men and women. Before 1909, women's rights were neglected, and the ideology of male superiority deeply ingrained in society. Today, with the strong yet silent struggle of women, the world has a different view of the capabilities of our sisters!
Vietnamese women are no exception, with a series of examples of being 'excellent at household chores and family responsibilities'!

5. The Majority of Women Have Become Mothers
According to statistics in the United States, with over 157 million women residing there, nearly 85.4 million are mothers (equivalent to 54%). The inherent role of a woman is to be a mother, bringing immense joy when holding their own child!
They are willing to endure physical pain during childbirth and the lingering effects on their bodies after celebrating the arrival of a new child. Don't forget your mother on this March 8th, not just with a bouquet but also with profound appreciation for them.

6. Holding the Record for IQ
Actually, intelligence knows no gender, but gentlemen, don't be sad to hear that the two individuals holding the record for IQ are both women!
This goes to show that you can't underestimate the ladies; with such high intelligence quotient, they are not easily fooled! They possess exceptional analytical abilities!

7. Educational Attainment
As many as 58% of women graduate from college. Particularly, they dominate in humanities and arts, while men take the lead in natural sciences.
Historically, women's education was undervalued, leading to significant injustice. Thanks to the efforts to break societal stereotypes, we now have a well-educated group of women. Gone are the days when girls were expected to finish school, get married, and focus solely on household and childcare. Modern women have an entirely different perspective!

8. Unpaid Labor
It's disheartening that women's thoughts often go unrecognized. In impoverished nations, female labor is underappreciated and sometimes involves unpaid work, demanding longer hours than men under increasingly challenging conditions.
While women have successfully risen to protect their rights, in societies with low literacy rates, few acknowledge these concerns, considering women weak and subject to 'bullying.'
Not only in economically deprived countries but also in families where the husband is the primary breadwinner, if the wife primarily tends to household duties, she's often perceived as 'not generating income.' Isn't this akin to unpaid labor!

9. Sons - Daughters?
Surprisingly, we've discovered that women in equatorial regions are more likely to give birth to girls than boys. Perhaps that's why our ancestors didn't lament being unmarried? And they even had multiple wives and concubines!
But now, it's time to gradually discard the notion that having a son is superior! Whether it's a boy or a girl, both are equally valuable. Moreover, if there are more girls than boys in equatorial regions, the chances of marrying someone from a foreign country are quite high!

10. Salary Disparities
Unfortunately, despite the theoretical success of gender equality, the reality tells a different story! On average, women work longer hours than men but are paid less. Sometimes, even for the same job, employers discriminate between genders.
And gentlemen, have you ever noticed that women work in the same company as you but when they get home, they continue to handle household chores and children 'on their own'? Show some empathy towards our sisters—this is not a 'given'! Share the workload with them!

11. The Relationship between Gender Gap and Economic Growth

12. Women excel at remembering what needs to be done rather than what has been done
Every woman is familiar with the scenario where their male counterparts forget to buy certain groceries or take out the trash. There is a scientific explanation for this. Scientists conducted a study, assigning 100 individuals, including both men and women, different tasks to assess their memory over a duration ranging from two minutes to a day.
The results showed that women are adept at remembering tasks for the future, while they may forget things they did just a minute later.
The reason is that, in addition to office work, women also have numerous household responsibilities, and their brains are trained to store a vast amount of information. That's how their memory works.

13. Pregnancy and Childbirth
On average, every 90 seconds, a mother dies during pregnancy or childbirth worldwide. While it might not be appropriate to discuss sad topics on joyful days, it's through such awareness that we appreciate them even more.
They are willing to trade their lives for their children! There are countless touching stories of maternal love around us. Everyone has a mother, so let's remember and honor them on this meaningful day!

14. Morning Sickness during Pregnancy is Good for Women
Researchers from Toronto, Canada, found that morning sickness during pregnancy contributes to the healthy development of the fetus. Fatigue in the morning and headaches are the result of the protective mechanism of the fetus against harmful substances. Therefore, these uncomfortable symptoms are beneficial for women's health.
Women experiencing morning sickness tend to have healthier pregnancies and fewer miscarriages. Additionally, morning sickness may have a positive impact on the child's intelligence. However, severe symptoms like hyperemesis (excessive vomiting) and severe heartburn are not good. In such cases, you should consult a doctor immediately.

15. Women Find It Harder to 'Fall in Love' Than Men
When it comes to the stimulating factors of love - the brain, heart, or hormones - men often fall in love much faster than women. Some studies show that more than 25% of men can experience love from the first date to the fourth day, while only 15% of women achieve similar results.
Many women admit that even after 20 days, they have no affection for the person they are getting to know.

16. Women Age Faster with More Children
Researchers from George Mason University in the U.S. discovered that women who give birth have shorter telomeres (repetitive sequences of DNA at the ends of chromosomes) than those who don't. This means that the parts of chromosomes responsible for protecting DNA become smaller with age.
Over 2,000 women of different ages participated in the study, and the results showed that women with more children have shorter telomeres. However, this could also be caused by various factors such as stress.

17. The Higher the IQ of Women, the Fewer Children They Have
British psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa stated that women with higher IQs tend to have lower desires for children. Intelligent women often choose not to have children or have only one. They prefer to spend time on self-learning, personal development, careers, and travel. That's why men often choose to marry women with more traditional values.

18. Women Wearing Red Make Other Women Envious
Adam Pazda from the Slovak Academy of Sciences conducted an experiment. He asked men and women to look at a picture of a woman wearing different colored clothes, including red, and express their opinions. The experiment showed that women often react negatively to women wearing red, seeing them as a threat to their relationships.
Both men and women think that women wearing red are more open and carefree. While men lean towards a positive view, women have negative thoughts.
