Situated 46km north of Ha Giang City, crossing the towering Bac Sum Pass shrouded in clouds, travelers arrive at the heavenly gate of Quan Ba. Standing here, one can admire the picturesque Tam Son town, known as the 'Dalat' of Ha Giang, and especially witness the Twin Mountains of Quan Ba, perfectly round and charming, resembling the ample bosom of a sleeping fairy.

You will also lose yourself in the sound of traditional musical instruments, which may leave you mesmerized when you leave this place.
The Dong Van Karst Plateau is a high rocky plateau over 1000 meters above sea level, covering four districts: Dong Van, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, and Quan Ba. It is the only global geological park in Vietnam, with its pristine, pure, and mysterious beauty. The karst plateau is astonishing, with rocky mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. 4. Lung Cu Flagpole
Lung Cu Flagpole is a national flagpole located on the peak of Lung Cu, the northernmost point of the country, which holds sacred significance in the hearts of every Vietnamese. Looking west from the top of Lung Cu, there are two pristine blue lakes that never dry up, known by the locals as 'dragon's eyes'. On one side lies the Lolo Chai village, and on the other side is the Then Pa village.

8. Dong Van Old Quarter
Dong Van Ancient Town, located within the Hà Giang tourism complex, was formed and built in the early 20th century, formerly belonging to the Dong Quan district, Nguyên Bình region, Yên Tường prefecture, Tuyên Quang province. Later, it was merged into Bảo Lạc district by a tycoon from the Tày Nong family as their own territory. Initially, there were only a few Tày, Chinese, and Mông families living here. In the 1940s and 1950s, more Kinh, Dao, Nùng, and others came to settle. Today, Dong Van Ancient Town is particularly beloved by tourists and is an indispensable destination in Hà Giang tours.
Dong Van Ancient Town has a history of architectural and cultural development spanning hundreds of years. The ancient houses are nearly 100 years old, and the ancient town area was formed in the early 20th century. The picture of the ancient town is painted with various colors, changing with the passage of time. During the main market days, the area of Dong Van Ancient Town becomes bustling and crowded. Here, all local products are displayed. Additionally, there are cultural exchange activities of ethnic groups, unique events that create highlights for the ancient town.

9. Backward Market (Fair Market)
In Hà Giang, there are numerous market fairs where almost every day of the week you can attend the right fair. Visiting these market fairs is fascinating because they vividly depict the daily life of people in the highlands of Hà Giang.
However, in Hà Giang, there are only four specific backward market fairs. Instead of having one fair every seven days, these remote market fairs meet once every six days, pushing the fair one day later each week. The backward markets consist of Lùng Phìn, Sà Phìn, Phó Bảng, and Phố Cáo. These backward markets always attract people, some of whom go not to buy or sell, but simply to admire. These market fairs are simple and humble, much like the lives of the local ethnic people.

10. Táng Tinh Waterfall
Tang Tinh Waterfall is renowned for the beauty of its water flowing smoothly from above. At the base of the waterfall, large rocks lie scattered, providing ample opportunities for striking poses amidst nature. Visitors to this site will be awe-struck by the sight of large rocks blocking the flowing water, creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere.
Every year, Tang Tinh Waterfall attracts a large number of tourists for sightseeing and outdoor activities, making it an ideal location for couples to take outdoor wedding photos. 11. Vương Family Mansion
Vuong Family Residence sits amidst the Sà Phìn valley, atop a turtle-shaped hill, with distant rocky mountains as a backdrop and mountains on both sides shaping the landscape. Legend has it that this land was chosen by a famous feng shui master, as it was the residence of a prominent figure.
To reach the Vuong Family Mansion, visitors need to traverse a gently sloping road, where they can feel the grandeur and nobility while walking on a path paved with large, flat leaves. The mansion, also known as the cat king's mansion, is a beautiful, rare, and unique architectural structure of the rocky plateau region. The mansion consists of 10 houses, with 6 houses facing the same direction. The houses are made of precious wood from ancient times, with tiled roofs. The total area of this mansion is about 1,940m2, with 64 rooms, divided into 3 main areas: the front mansion, the middle mansion, and the rear mansion. Until now, the Vuong family remains influential and successful.

12. Pho Bang Village

14. Pho Bang – Yen Minh
Pho Bang – Yen Minh, where tranquility begins! Pho Bang – Yen Minh lies in the remote highlands of the Motherland, near the peaceful Vietnam-China border over the years. The nature and people here are simple, peaceful to the point of strangeness. This is the home of the Hmong and Chinese people. Formerly, this was one of the major administrative and economic centers of Dong Van, Ha Giang, but since Dong Van was relocated, Pho Bang has become a forgotten destination amidst the mountains and forests.
When looking at Pho Bang – Yen Minh from afar, the first image that appears is the tiny roofs rising up like in a fairy tale. Closer still, the adobe walls of Pho Bang houses become clearer, the houses made of earth, creating unique colors such as brown mixed with red, ivory yellow, all creating the distinctive feature of this place.

15. Lũng Cẩm Cultural Village
Along with the aforementioned destinations, Hà Giang also has a special stop imbued with the essence of time, full of tranquility, and rich cultural values - Lũng Cẩm Cultural Village. Located in Sủng Là commune, Đồng Văn district, Hà Giang province, Lũng Cẩm is a small valley nestled in the heart of the Đồng Văn Plateau. With golden mustard fields growing amidst rocky terrain, the golden rays of sunlight illuminate and invigorate the natural vegetation here. Alongside the milestone pillars and amidst the local people's homes, mustard flower gardens emit fragrant scents, swaying gently in the cool breeze.

17. Lùng Khúy Cave
Lùng Khúy Cave - A pride of Hà Giang tourism. For locals, Lùng Khúy Cave is a refuge during inclement weather or a source of drinking water. Before becoming a tourist attraction, the cave was closely associated with the livelihoods of the people here, especially the folklore of the Mông people in Lùng Khúy village. They hold this place in high regard, hence strict rules are established to preserve its beauty forever.
Lùng Khúy Cave stretches about 1000m in length, with spacious chambers and lofty ceilings. Outside the cave, you'll encounter stalactites and stalagmites, rugged stone columns, in deep shades of yellow. 18. Noong Lake
Noong Lake, also known as the paradise of Hà Giang. Noong Lake curves against the mountain cliffs, with three underground streams connecting to the Lô River. Whenever it rains, the water level rises, and schools of fish swim against the current of the Lô River, seeking refuge in Noong Lake, including Carp, Catfish, Mudfish, Catla, and especially the native Mudfish. Stopping by Noong Lake, tourists can savor the delicious flavors of Mudfish dishes, prepared in various ways such as grilled, fried, or cooked in sour soup with sour greens like tamarind leaves, sour bamboo shoots, pickled vegetables, and starfruits.
Noong Lake exudes a poetic beauty of nature, as it is fed by underground water from the mountain crevices, ensuring that the lake never runs dry. During the dry season, water accumulates in two basins, allowing plants like the 'May ẳn' (as known by the locals) to grow on the remaining land in the lake over time.
