The small village in North Korea – the hometown of the handsome Captain Ri and the cheerful residents – is only about a 3-hour drive from Seoul and is always open to welcome visitors. Although the journey to this fictional North Korean village may seem quite far, in return, you can explore Ri Jeong Hyeok's house, the laundry area, Young Ae's house, and many other iconic scenes. You truly immerse yourself in the serene rural life of Crash Landing On You. Quite fascinating, isn't it?

4. Hantan River Suspension Bridge in Pocheon
While strolling in Korea, Ri Jeong Hyeok suddenly remembers a memory in Switzerland – when he asked a woman who looked like she had a lot on her mind to take a photo of him and Seo Dan. That small gesture unexpectedly saved the life of the girl he would spend a lifetime loving. This sweet conversation takes place at Hantan River Suspension Bridge in Pocheon. Of course, the breathtaking scenery is also the reason you must visit here on your solo travel journey in Korea.


5. 'Rainbow Bridge' at Tangeum Lake in Chungju
The beautiful yet tragic love story of Seo Dan and Gu Seung Joon has left the hearts of drama enthusiasts constantly throbbing – especially in the confession scene. This sweet-enough-to-rot-your-teeth moment unfolds on a brightly colored bridge, aptly named the 'Rainbow Bridge' over Tangeum Lake in Chungju, South Korea. 6. Binae Island in Chungju
Binae Island in Chungju is a popular camping spot for adventure enthusiasts in South Korea. This location appears in the charming outdoor scene with Yoon Seri and the 'Fab Five from North Korea' along with Captain Ri.


7. Yeongjongdo Seonnyeo Bawi Beach in Incheon
In the series, both Cho Cheol Gang and Ri Jeong Hyeok escape to South Korea through a secret tunnel, crawling for 12 to 24 hours to make it through. Their first footsteps in the Republic of Korea, after the arduous journey, are right on the beach of Yeongjongdo Seonnyeo Bawi in the coastal city of Incheon.

8. Lake Brienz, Iseltwald
The image of Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok playing the piano by the Lake Brienz is enchanting, amidst falling snowflakes, truly a picturesque scene, especially for the romantically inclined. This highly poignant scene was shot in a small village in Iseltwald. The backdrop of the lake and piano is situated right in front of private land adjacent to Iseltwald Harbor.


9. Observation Tower Byeolmaro in Yeongwol
In episode 1, Yoon Se Ri tested Seri’s Choice's new product by paragliding over the stunning mountainous area of Seoul. The adventure begins at the Observation Tower Byeolmaro in Yeongwol – one of the most picturesque hills in Korea. Note that there is currently no information on paragliding services here; however, just admiring the beauty and enjoying the fresh air is more than wonderful.


10. First Flieger, Grindelwald
The majestic yet serene mountains of Grindelwald bear witness to the tearful reunion of Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Se-ri – contributing to the unique emotions of the scene. When you visit here, consider experiencing paragliding to fully appreciate the beauty of the First Flieger.


11. Sigriswil Scenic View Bridge
This is not a place for the faint-hearted. In the series, Ri Jeong Hyeok and Seo Dan visited the Sigriswil Scenic View Bridge – among the many famous landmarks in the city – to enjoy the scenery and coincidentally encounter Yoon Se Ri. Truly, a twist of fate, isn't it?


12. Victoria Jungfrau
In the final episode of Crash Landing On You, Yoon Se Ri attended an annual piano performance organized by Seri’s Choice and her family company. The venue was the luxurious Victoria Jungfrau – a mansion that looks like it was just plucked from a fairy tale. This scene also subtly confirms that this is the event that brings her and Ri Jeong Hyeok to Switzerland every year.

13. Lake Lungern in Obwalden
One of the final scenes of the series shows the two main characters happily together in Switzerland. Although some viewers consider this segment “too beautiful to be true,” it is indeed Lake Lungern in Obwalden. Just jot it down in your travel diary.


14. Kleine Schneidegg
Oh my, does the name Kleine Schneidegg sound unfamiliar? If so, you might not be the ultimate detective when watching the series. This location appears at the end of episode 2 – when the two main characters coincidentally ride a cable car together in Switzerland, many years before their fateful encounter in North Korea. A very “Korean drama” twist, isn't it?

15. Grandhotel Giessbach
Grandhotel Giessbach makes a somewhat fleeting appearance in the series as an imaginary music academy – where Ri Jeong Hyeok studied before returning to North Korea to continue his family's military tradition. Viewers can also spot Grandhotel Giessbach once again when Seo Dan visits Ri Jeong Hyeok for the first time after their engagement ceremony.


16. Lindenhof, Zurich
During her quest to find Ri Jeong Hyeok in Switzerland, Yoon Se Ri mistakenly identified her 'beloved' as a street pianist. The park where this amusing encounter took place is located at Lindenhof, Zurich.

17. Münsterbrücke, Zurich
In the episode where Seo Dan visits Ri Jeong Hyeok for the first time, viewers can witness many iconic landmarks of Switzerland. Among them is the Münsterbrücke – the famous pedestrian bridge in Zurich.

18. Ulaanbaatar
In the movie, Yoon Se Ri and Ri Jeong Hyeok embark on a train journey to Pyongyang, lasting from 13 to a whopping 16 hours. An important scene where the two characters spend the night in a field was shot in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Even the scene at Pyongyang Station was filmed in this city.
Although not a familiar name to Vietnamese travelers, Mongolia is still a highly recommended destination for its unique natural beauty – from vast grasslands, the Tengger Desert to the vibrant and diverse plant life.
