1. Datanla Waterfall
Datanla Waterfall is known as the most beautiful waterfall in Da Lat, featuring a majestic scene with powerful cascading waters and mist that fills the air. You can choose to hike down to the waterfall, though it takes some time, or opt for a more thrilling experience by taking the toboggan ride. The feeling of sliding down while controlling the ride is a bit scary but incredibly exciting, almost like an extreme sport.
Despite its beauty, Datanla is not overly crowded due to the many stone terraces it flows over. The waterfall drops from a height of 20 meters, creating a crystal-clear pool at the base known as Fairy Stream, while the deep, mysterious area above is called the Abyss of Death. In addition to the picturesque waterfall, the area has been developed with various adventurous activities to attract tourists.

2. Pine Forest

Cau Dat Tea Hill is located about 25 km from the city center, towards Trai Mat. The vast landscape here features expansive, lush green tea fields. A cool breeze carrying the refreshing, crisp air of Da Lat blows through, filling the air with the delicate fragrance of tea leaves, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere.
Cau Dat Tea Hill presents a harmonious natural setting, with the blue sky blending with the rolling green hills stretching as far as the eye can see. Birds soar above, adding to the breathtaking scenery. It is a popular spot for young people to take Instagram-worthy photos or for couples to capture beautiful wedding shots. If you can visit at sunrise, it’s even more magical.

4. Strawberry Gardens
Da Lat is renowned for its plump, red strawberries. As you travel through the area, you’ll encounter fields of vibrant green strawberry plants, dotted with ripe red fruit. You'll also see local farmers tending to their crops with great care to ensure fresh, clean strawberries. Many of Da Lat’s strawberry gardens are now cultivated using advanced technology, allowing tourists to enjoy fresh, pesticide-free strawberries straight from the farm.
Some of the most popular strawberry farms for photos and visits in Da Lat include Biofresh, Hiep Luc Farm in the Hiep Luc Ecotourism Area, and the 88 Strawberry Garden. Entrance fees are usually minimal—only around 10,000 VND or sometimes free. If you'd like to purchase some strawberries to enjoy or take home as souvenirs, you’ll pay for the fruits separately.

5. Me Linh Coffee Garden
Me Linh Garden is a newly opened coffee shop, located about 20 km from Da Lat's city center. Though the drive might seem far, once you arrive, you’ll find it’s well worth the journey. The spacious outdoor seating area offers a panoramic view of the lush coffee plantation.
A unique experience here is enjoying the rich taste of weasel coffee while gazing at the peaceful Cam Ly Lake right in front. Visitors can also explore the farm and hand-pick their own coffee beans, learning about the entire coffee production and brewing process. What makes this place even more special is the breathtaking atmosphere, perfect for capturing unforgettable moments, especially for social media enthusiasts.


6. Da Lat Railway Station
Da Lat Railway Station is one of the two national heritage sites recognized by the government in Da Lat. Situated at an elevation of over 1500 meters above sea level, it is also one of the oldest train stations in Indochina. Built by the French in 1932 and completed in 1938, the station connects with the 84 km-long railway line from Phan Rang to Da Lat. Today, the Da Lat Railway Station serves as a popular tourist attraction in the city of flowers.
From above, the station’s shape resembles the majestic Langbiang Mountain, yet its architecture is similar to other railway stations in France. Traveling on the trains, you’ll experience the gentle swaying, making the slow pace of the journey quite enjoyable. The train moves slowly to give passengers ample time to admire the landscape and take photographs.

7. Domaine de Marie Church
Domaine de Marie, or the Lady's Domain, was built between 1930 and 1943. It is the name of the complex comprising the chapel and two buildings behind the convent of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul (Filles de la Charité de Saint Vincent de Paule). The chapel, recently repainted in golden hues, with a red-tiled roof, stands out beautifully against the blue sky and lush greenery.
Domaine de Marie Church is one of the two most beautiful churches in Da Lat, and it’s a must-see for anyone visiting. The spacious grounds feature the main chapel, with two convent buildings at the back where the nuns reside. The area is surrounded by trees and small flowerbeds, adding vibrant color and a refreshing, tranquil atmosphere.

8. Da Lat Pedagogical College
Don't be too surprised to find that Da Lat Pedagogical College is one of the must-visit spots in Da Lat. With its unique European-style architecture in the heart of the Central Highlands, it's no wonder that young people are going crazy over it.
The campus features a curved building with a tall, towering spire that immediately grabs the attention of anyone passing by. The grounds are spacious yet airy, complete with a football field and a basketball court. It's truly a dream school for any student. The campus is quite open, and whether you're a student or not, you can visit by simply asking the security guard for permission. No entry fee is required.

9. Da Lat Night Market
Da Lat Night Market, also known as the food paradise of Da Lat, is the place to find all kinds of famous local snacks. The vibrant atmosphere at night adds a modern touch to the area as the night falls.
The dazzling lights, the crowds strolling about, and the aromatic smoke of delicious street foods create a lively yet warm atmosphere that reflects the friendly spirit of Da Lat's people. A quick snack, a hot cup of soy milk, and chatting with friends are enough to forget about all the daily worries for a moment, right?

10. Lam Vien Square
Lam Vien Square is now one of the top destinations for young people visiting Da Lat. The square spans over 70,000 square meters, with a breathtaking view of Xuan Huong Lake. Its prime location, spacious atmosphere, and unique architectural features make it a standout symbol of the misty city.
This area also boasts two impressive art installations: the giant artichoke bud and a massive daisy flower made of colorful glass. The first is a towering artichoke bud standing more than 15 meters tall, with a steel frame twisted to resemble the shape of the flower bud, and its exterior wrapped in yellow and green glass panels, symbolizing the petals. The daisy flower, designed to tilt to one side, has curved yellow petals, creating the illusion of a giant flower from every angle of the square.

11. Da Lat Flower Garden
Da Lat Flower Garden is located on the northern shore of Xuan Huong Lake, nestled in the valley of Cu Hill, where hundreds of flower species bloom in vibrant colors. The expansive garden is uniquely designed with different sections dedicated to specific flower types, adding to its charm.
Once you step into this floral paradise, you’ll find yourself taking hundreds of photos at every turn, surrounded by a multitude of flowers. The entrance to the garden is particularly striking, with arches made of hundreds of flower pots forming a beautiful gateway. Inside, you’ll be immersed in flowers from all directions—front, back, and both sides. Each square of the garden path features flowers, and along the walkways, you'll see fountains and a horse-drawn carriage filled with blossoms, creating a whimsical, dreamlike atmosphere.

12. Truc Lam Zen Monastery
Amidst the bustling tourist spots, visitors to Da Lat can also seek tranquility at the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. In addition to visiting the temple to pray for peace and good fortune, guests can stroll through the monastery grounds. The peaceful atmosphere of the temple combined with the serene natural surroundings offers a calming and soothing experience. Walking down the stone steps leads to a serene lake, framed by willow trees, creating a picturesque and romantic setting perfect for photos.
When you visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery, you'll be amazed by the intricate carvings that adorn the walls of the main hall. These detailed depictions of the eight heavenly generals and their representations of Buddha, along with other artistic elements, add to the temple's unique charm. You can also visit the Meditation Hall on the 14th and 19th of each lunar month to listen to teachings from the monks.

13. Chicken Church
Chicken Church, or the Cathedral of Da Lat, is a stunning and unique architectural landmark in the city. As the largest church in Da Lat, it stands as a masterpiece of old-world European design left behind by the French. It earned its nickname due to the rooster-shaped weathervane perched atop the bell tower. This iconic feature has inspired numerous photographers both from Vietnam and abroad who visit Da Lat.
In addition to its antique and majestic architecture, Chicken Church also attracts many visitors, especially young people, for its pink walls. 14. Linh Phuoc Pagoda
Linh Phuoc Pagoda is one of the most famous landmarks in Da Lat, often compared to the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. It is home to the tallest statue of Avalokitesvara (the Goddess of Mercy) in Vietnam, standing at a height of 71 meters.
The pagoda is also known as the "bottle pagoda" due to its unique exterior, which is entirely covered with mosaic tiles made from broken glass bottles.
