1. Poem: 'HEARTFELT WORDS WHEN SPRING COMES' - Hoang Minh Tuan
HEARTFELT WORDS WHEN SPRING COMES
Poem by: Hoang Minh Tuan
Spring of old, you left me,
With promises of love, to reunite in the future.
But now, the longing in my heart,
With each passing spring, I wait with hope!
Spring returns, filling the air with poetry,
Verses of love, longing, and dreams.
Spring brings memories of desire,
With passion, I await your return!
Spring comes, rekindling the flame of love,
Warming my heart with every beat.
Spring brings a flood of memories,
Sending you endless love from afar!
Spring arrives, leaving traces of longing,
Do you know, my love, how the roses fade?
Spring comes, who do I send my love to?
The dream of love still waits for you!

2. Poem: 'SPRING DREAM!' - Nguyen Thi Khanh Ha
SPRING DREAM!
Poem and images by: Nguyen Thi Khanh Ha
The endless fields, so smooth and wide,
The golden sunlight spreading, the earth alive with fragrance.
Surprised, I take your hand in mine,
As the evening sky turns purple, and my soul sways beside you.
Once, there was someone gentle and kind,
Whose thoughts wandered in the dreamy springtime.
Now, life calls me a wanderer,
Choosing a life of hardship, and here I am.
Life passes, just as time does...
But there remains the memory of a love we once shared.
Time, like rushing water, flows swiftly away,
But my heart still recalls the love of a time long past...
Spring arrives,
Bringing light to the earth and sky.
It gives me hope,
A lifetime shared with you...

3. Poem: 'WAIT FOR ME, SPRING...' - Yen Thinh
WAIT FOR ME, SPRING...
Author: Yen Thinh
Spring, please, take your time,
Let me don my traditional dress once again.
After many years, this is the first time,
I find myself entangled in love's clumsy threads.
Please, don’t rush to point out my flaws...
Act as if you never saw them,
As if we’re meeting for the first time.
Let me wear my most graceful smile.
Do not hurry along,
The tree has only just started to sprout new buds...
I am still waiting for our love,
Like clouds waiting for the wind... like flowers waiting for their lover.
Just once... just once...
Let me feel that life still holds spring within it.
One day... could it be a hundred years...

4. Poem: 'SPRING COMES TO THE BORDERLAND' - Anh Tuyet
SPRING COMES TO THE BORDERLAND
Poem by: Anh Tuyet
Though your footsteps leave marks in the green forest,
This heart of mine remains in the rear guard.
Spring arrives everywhere on the borderlands,
And my heart aches, longing for that place.
I wish I were the wind,
Gently caressing your hair,
I wish I could be the river,
Flowing gently through the eyes of my dreams.
Here I stand, amidst the clouds and wind,
And yet my heart stirs with every beat.
I miss you, my distant love,
Remembering your shy glance at me.
I miss the warmth of your hands,
The sweetness of your lips, like spring flowers.
Do you know, my love, during those long marches,
I paused at the edge of the border forest?
Thinking of you fills my heart with sadness,
But if we love each other truly, we must wait.
Let’s promise to return and dream of our future,
Building a life together, full of happiness.

5. Poem: 'HOPING FOR THE NEW YEAR' - Pham Quang Thu
HOPING FOR THE NEW YEAR
By: Pham Quang Thu, Ministry of Commerce/ Hanoi
Time, who could have guessed,
It flies by, sweeping childhood memories away.
The thatched roof, the smoke curls down,
While the bending bamboo searches for the blue sky.
Memories drift, the wind through the bamboo leaves,
It’s the breeze whispering just your name.
You raise your hand, the betel nut container,
Like holding the sorrow of the past in your arms.
The gentle wind stirs the bamboo groves,
The sound of birds singing fills the garden.
The pole remembers the betel vine reaching out,
And the areca nut leaves long for the well, more than for me.
The bamboo cot rocks gently, lulling us to sleep,
On rainy days, mother hurriedly brings the rice inside.
At night, we count the stars in the sky,
In spring, we dream of the day the peach blossoms bloom.
Oh, those days when my heart ached,
Always longing for the New Year, counting the days for the peach flowers to bloom!

6. Poem: 'ALONE WITH MY PASSION' - Vân Anh
ALONE WITH MY PASSION
By: Vân Anh
"The golden winds climb the hills of the day,
As night falls, a dreamy path lies ahead.
Whom do I miss with such a heavy heart?
Sorrow creeps in, hour after hour!"
Yesterday, winter arrived but has left...
Flowers bloom, the spring buds welcome new beginnings.
The changing season stirs my emotions,
As love feels farther away with each passing moment!
A heavy sadness fills my soul,
Carrying it with me, sending it off to distant places.
For me, you are everything,
Like an old winter leaf withering in time!
The bright green of spring glows clearly,
My heart beats to the rhythm of the changing seasons.
My spirit is kindled by the fire of love,
Is the one I cherish returning yet?
In the uncertainty of the new year,
I wait for the flowers to bloom in the garden of spring.
The golden butterfly flutters gently,
Pausing to find a lover's embrace!
The gentle drizzle falls, lightly scattered,
The silhouette of a distant beauty, so far away.
My longing spreads, deep and wild,
And all I see is just me!

7. Poem: 'PROMISE OF HOPE' - Hồng Soi
PROMISE OF HOPE
By: Hồng Soi
Spring knocks at the door, the peach and apricot flowers bloom,
The youth of the village wear new clothes, dancing with joy.
As winter fades and spring arrives, may it bring hope,
May every home be filled with happiness and love!
The New Year's celebrations are filled with joy and greetings,
Remembering our roots and offering our gratitude.
In life, fortune comes to those who deserve,
It is the heart and virtue that matter most above all else.
Keep your promises, fight for the nation's glory,
Our homeland will remain eternal and strong.
We swear before the glorious Party,
Ready to dedicate our hearts to the cause of Vietnam!
No matter the challenges, we will never falter,
We must unite and strive to overcome.
Our nation’s land and sea belong to us,
We will defend our homeland, ensuring peace forevermore.
As we bid farewell to the Year of the Dog with joy,
We welcome the Year of the Pig with even greater happiness.
Through the marks of history, our path is clear,
Our promise of hope ensures no foreign invader will ever break through!

8. Poem: 'SPRING OF THE LAND' - Hoàng Như Phượng
SPRING OF THE LAND
By: Hoàng Như Phượng
Spring knocks on every door, filling the air with excitement,
The earth stirs, awakening the green shoots.
The water stretches, soaking the leaves and branches,
Flowers bloom, as if painted by an artist.
The new season shines with vibrant colors,
Its fragrance spreads joyfully through the village.
The sun rises, casting a golden glow,
The apricot blossoms greet spring with their gentle beauty.
The pink peach flowers blush on the boughs,
Friends from my hometown send their love through the spring.
With each passing season, the ties grow stronger,
Wishing for a peaceful, thriving homeland for all!

9. Poem: 'OH, SPRING UNDERSTANDS!' - Nguyễn Đình Cường
OH, SPRING UNDERSTANDS!
By: Nguyễn Đình Cường
This morning, the swallow knocks on the door,
Bringing you a branch of spring.
Time has turned, the seasons change,
And the peach blossom opens its bud just for you.
At sixteen, you're ready,
To let the moonrise shine over the hills.
The spring shoots are budding,
Dreaming of someone who will be lost in love.
The peach flowers paint the sky with vibrant hues,
Filling the air with the first kiss of life.
Like a silent song, with no words,
The melody flows through this season of love.
Oh, spring understands,
It paints your lips with the sweetest red,
Igniting the flame in your heart,
Spring — you are like a festival of joy.

10. Poem: 'SPRING RAIN' - Hồ Viết Bình
SPRING RAIN
By: Hồ Viết Bình
At the start of the year, a light spring rain,
The sky is cool, bringing us closer together.
Hands, as if knowing, long for each other,
Fingers sorrowful from days of loneliness.
The scent of flowers lingers in the air,
Yet distant, the soul is filled with pain.
Spring comes, bringing us near,
Melting the distance and making way for the sunshine to break through.

11. Poem: 'SPRING COLORS' - Nghi Lâm
SPRING COLORS
By: Nghi Lâm
Spring arrives, and flowers bloom,
Fresh buds sing as they burst open,
Joy fills the air, lifting spirits,
While love's song fills the heart.
You, standing on the sunny road,
Brightly shining like peach blossoms,
In Đà Lạt, the season changes,
Saying goodbye to winter, ushering in warmth.
Now, with such peaceful sights,
The beauty of graceful girls draws near,
And they call out to each other,
As they stroll down the lively streets.
Spring days are even brighter,
Because in Saigon, there's you,
Bringing dreams of calm nights,
Spending time together each evening.
No longer lost in confusion,
I walk the streets with no aim,
Solitude fades in surprise,
As I admire the lights and flowers for the New Year.
Now, with these verses I write,
I send them to you as a keepsake,
To show off your beauty in Hà Thành,
As we welcome the spring on your doorstep!

12. Poem: 'THE SPRING MARKET' - Đoàn Văn Cừ
THE SPRING MARKET
By: Đoàn Văn Cừ
White clouds slowly redden atop the peaks,
Pink mist embraces the rooftops of huts,
Along the road lined with green hills,
The villagers excitedly head to the Spring market.
They joyfully carry their goods over the dewy grass,
Little boys in red shirts run merrily,
Old men with walking sticks, bent low,
A girl in a red scarf smiles quietly, her lips sealed,
A young boy nestles close to his mother's side.
Two villagers carry pigs on their shoulders,
While a quirky golden cow follows behind.
White mist drips from the tree branches like drops of milk,
And purple sunlight flickers endlessly over the rice fields.
The mountains curve like a green velvet cloak,
The hills are painted in hues of red under the morning sun.
People bustle in and out of the market gates,
The buffalo stands lazily, its eyes half-closed,
Listening to the chatter of the busy crowd.
The vendor with the paintings carries a heavy bundle,
And finds a spot to sit and start his sales.
An elderly scholar bends over a wooden bench,
Sharpening his brush as he writes New Year poetry.
The old Confucian scholar pauses, stroking his beard,
Muttering the words of a red couplet.
The old woman at the market near the ancient temple,
Her hair white with the passage of time, still strong in her work.
The flower seller, with a brown scarf on his head,
Sits down to arrange the flowers on the mat.
The elderly man in his torn shirt is jostled by the crowd,
And his headscarf slips off as he struggles.
The children are too mesmerized by the rooster painting
To hear their sister calling them from the street.
The young women laugh and hug each other,
Next to the firecracker seller under the banyan tree.
Vibrant red oranges sit in baskets, looking like lipstick,
The rice baskets full, like snowy mountains,
The rooster with a red comb stands tall, its feathers sharp as a knife.
One customer picks up a chicken leg, examining it carefully.

13. Poem: 'THE SMILE OF SPRING' - Xuân Diệu
THE SMILE OF SPRING
By: Xuân Diệu
In the garden, the joyful sound of birds fills the air,
A young girl watches as the morning dew sparkles in the sunlight.
Why is the first day of spring so peaceful?
The roses bloom, each petal a smile of freshness.
The light surrounds the highest branches,
The golden trees shimmer with the touch of sun,
The fragrance of the breeze drifts carelessly,
Brushing the plum and peach blossoms.
The willow’s green hair falls gently,
While the new flowers, vivid and bright, seem to sing,
A tender emotion wafts through the air,
Like the scent of love and affection.
This is the first time the young girl hears
The melody of the season, her heart entranced by its music.
The warmth of spring glows on her cheeks,
Making her heart ache with longing...
The girl waits with a soft smile,
Hoping for the arrival of someone she hasn’t yet met,
As the seasons pass and the year turns.
She stands, shyly offering a smile, awaiting her fate.

14. Poem: 'DO YOU KNOW, MOM, I AM AFRAID OF SPRING?' - Tiểu Vũ Vi
DO YOU KNOW, MOM, I AM AFRAID OF SPRING?
By: Tiểu Vũ Vi
Mom, do you know? I am so afraid of spring.
The passing years drape youth in their cloak.
As the apricot blossoms bloom, I quietly complain,
The swallow returns but leaves my heart withered.
Spring, with all its beauty, steals the moon’s glow.
But I fear I will never fulfill my duty to you.
As your health fades in the grasp of spring,
Leaving me with... sorrow and regret.
Spring comes unfeeling, with so little care,
Placing all the burdens you carry on your shoulders.
The world’s marketplace is far, and your weary body struggles.
I just wish to see you well, stronger than anyone.
But Mom, I cannot smile
As spring arrives in your silver hair.
Though the world may call spring young and bright,
For me, it is a cold and lifeless white.
Mom, do you know? I fear being orphaned.
The sunset will fade beyond the hill,
And spring will cruelly gift you to time’s dust,
To the empty skies and the passing years.
I am so afraid, afraid that spring will carry
My unfulfilled promises, the debts I owe.
The word 'filial duty' weighs heavy, full of love.
How long before I can repay it, spring?

15. Poem: 'SPRING HAS ARRIVED' - Hoàng Trọng Lợi
SPRING HAS ARRIVED
By: Hoàng Trọng Lợi
Spring comes knocking at our door,
Bringing ripe fruits and family together.
Spring stirs the enchanted fields,
With peach and apricot blossoms quickly pushing winter away.
The spring breeze gently caresses the skin,
You wear a new dress, looking lovely and fresh.
The warm spring sun, full of laughter,
Echoes through the children playing in the afternoon light.
This spring brings countless blessings,
Dreams and goals fulfilled, bright futures ahead.
Spring weaves tales of love,
Uniting couples in the beauty of romance.
Spring arrives with wishes for everyone,
Young and old alike, hearts filled with joy.
Flowers bloom, trees sway,
And the birds sing cheerfully in the spring sky.

16. Poem: 'SPRING' - Đỗ Lan
SPRING
By: Đỗ Lan
Spring arrives with swallows in flight,
As hundreds of flowers bloom, filling hearts with delight.
Spring brings forth fresh shoots of life,
And paints the cheeks of children with innocent smiles.
In the morning, dew drops gently form,
Greeting the Spring by the lush green fields.
Spring nurtures buds on every branch,
Awaiting the warm sun to bring them to full bloom.
Spring dreams of roses, soft and sweet,
While the wind carries a gentle, fragrant breeze.
Spring hands over happiness,
And paints the sky and clouds with shades of pink and gold.

17. Poem: 'SPRING ARRIVES' - Liên Phạm
SPRING ARRIVES
Poem: Liên Phạm
Spring returns, painting the peach blossoms bright,
They sway in the sunlight, greeting the New Year with delight.
The nightingale sings, joyously loud,
The fragrance of flowers fills the vast skies and ground.
The wind whispers gently in the air,
The spring sun warms the earth, a melody everywhere.
With tenderness, he offers his love sincere,
His heart full of passion, his feelings clear.
Spring speaks of dreams unspoken,
Of fiery desires through winter's cold token.
Her cheeks blush with shy delight,
Her eyes locked in love, a kiss pure and tight!
Spring colors the sky with hues of blue,
The sweet song of the nightingale fills the view.
A radiant smile, joy in the air,
Spring has come, full of love to share!

18. Poem: 'SPRING SOUNDS' - Phan Thu Hà
SPRING SOUNDS
Poem: Phan Thu Hà
I hear the winds bring the season's change,
Carrying strange rains, shifting the earth's range.
The grass stirs, ready to bloom anew,
As the sun's bright rays paint the sky a vivid hue.
I hear someone's laughter so sweet,
And I know spring is here, making life complete.
The land stretches, taking a deep breath,
The scent of rice fills the air, full of life and depth.
I hear the waves softly roll,
Whispering poems left untold,
'A little spring, so pure and bright',
Rising gently into the day’s light.
I feel a fragrant breeze brush my face,
Warming the cheeks with a soft embrace,
The sun's gentle glow shines so bright,
Filling my heart with warmth and light.
In the silence, I hear a sound so deep,
It’s the quiet longing that the heart will keep,
A bloom of love, tender and true,
Singing softly, a melody for you.

19. Poem: 'SPRING OF A THOUSAND FLOWERS' - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
SPRING OF A THOUSAND FLOWERS
Poem: Trịnh Thanh Hằng
The cold winter is soon to fade away,
Making space for the warm southern winds to sway.
The ice will melt, its reign coming to an end,
Bringing forth spring, as the golden apricot blooms again.
Spring brings love, with the cherry blossoms so bright,
The camellia petals swaying in the gentle light.
Spring, you promise to return at the stroke of midnight,
As I open my heart to greet you with delight.
After months of yearning, those far away,
We walk together through the bustling flower market, where colors sway.
The deep violet blooms, standing so proud,
Representing you, the delicate and rare violet flower’s shroud.
The velvety rose, though weary from the chill,
Strongly stands, spreading beauty over the field with skill.
Its fragrance and charm fill the air,
As the jasmine buds whisper in the spring’s care.
The delicate orchid sways, graceful and pure,
Revealing its colors, never to obscure.
Its soft petals remind me of distant places far,
As the festive flowers bloom with joy under the star.
My garden of spring, don’t rush too fast,
Each flower brings a story, the season's beauty will last.
The daisies call, softly in the breeze,
They’ve waited for spring, and now they sing with ease.
Spring awakens all flowers, from near and far,
The earth and sky bloom, as bright as a star.
With love and longing, the garden bursts into song,
And we find ourselves lost in this spring all along.
Poem: Trịnh Thanh Hằng

20. Poem: 'SPRING EVENING' - Tony Bui
SPRING EVENING
Poem: Tony Bui
Spring evening settles over the violet river,
As I stand beside you, lingering at our farewell.
The warmth of our kiss still lingers, intoxicating,
My naive heart dreams of building a life of happiness.
The sweet taste of love, real and pure,
Etched deeply in the memory of our hearts.
Time moves on, and everything changes its hue,
But our love remains, everlasting and true.
I will go far away, promising to return,
And you will wait for me, not afraid of the pain of time.
One day, together, we will drift in paradise,
And our life will turn a new page, a new poetic line.
With every longing, I sit and weave each thread,
Sending you love across the distant lands.
Where you are, my spring blooms like home,
So open the gift I have sent, my dear love.
