The HongKong Alley is precisely inspired by that, during the 60s and 70s of the 20th century. From the city center of Buon Ma Thuot, head northeast along Hung Vuong Street. When you reach the end of the street, turn right onto Ama Khe Street, and you'll find number 188.
As soon as you step into HongKong Alley, you'll notice the difference compared to the streets in downtown Buon Ma Thuot. The alley makes you feel like you're stepping into a TVB drama set with its glamorous and bustling urban space, day or night. Moreover, both sides of the alley are filled with countless brightly lit neon signs with characteristic Chinese characters. Don't worry if you see Chinese everywhere; if you don't understand, you can always ask the locals here because they're all Vietnamese.

Located in Yang Tao commune (Lak district), about 40 km from downtown Buon Ma Thuot via National Highway 27, Yang Tao Elephant Rock comprises a pair of Elephant Father and Elephant Mother rocks rising majestically amidst the forested mountains, carrying within them fascinating and mysterious legends. It is estimated that Elephant Mother Rock is about 200m long, with a circumference at the base of about 500m, standing over 30m tall, and weighing tens of thousands of tons. Although climbing to the top of Elephant Mother Rock is not particularly difficult, you must be extremely careful because there are very few footholds on the rock. On windy days, climbing to the top of Elephant Mother Rock can be quite risky as strong gusts of wind may sweep climbers off the rock face.
Located 5km away, Elephant Father Rock stands proudly in the valley, facing towards the towering mountain ranges, with lush green vegetation at the foot of the rocky mountain, where bees and butterflies flutter around, creating a stunning natural landscape. Elephant Father Rock originally faced north towards Lake Lak, but after just one night, it was seen lying amidst vast rice fields, with two long streams nearby believed to be the pathways of the rock. Unlike elaborate soups like Hue beef vermicelli, pho, Quy Nhon fish cake vermicelli, or fish sauce vermicelli, red vermicelli is very simple and rustic, unique and very delicious. When you first set foot in Dak Lak, on a chilly afternoon, it's heartwarming to enjoy a rustic and fragrant bowl of red vermicelli.
The main ingredients for this dish are made from field crabs, meatballs, and boiled quail eggs. With the skillful hands of the chef, the bowl of red vermicelli becomes attractive with rich colors and extremely appealing flavors: a bit red from cashew nuts, fresh red from tomato slices cut into star shapes, fresh green from the plate of vegetables, plus brown from crab paste and fish cakes, and especially the white from the boiled quail eggs, which looks eye-catching and stimulates the taste buds! Sacred Heart Cathedral is the main cathedral of the Diocese of Ban Me Thuot.
