1. Poem: Motherland - Phạm Hồng Giang
Motherland!
Poem by Phạm Hồng Giang
I've written a song celebrating our country.
Our homeland is beautiful, thousands of years old.
Through many difficult days and months.
Still firmly proud, we Vietnamese.
Seventy years of heroic achievements.
Protecting our land, rivers, and destroying enemies.
For generations, our nation sweetly sings.
The two words 'Viet Nam' eternal.
August sky, this gentle autumn.
Sunshine over Ba Dinh Square, heavy with love.
Seventy years and forever lingering.
The words of Uncle Ho in that square.
Following Uncle Ho, our entire nation rises.
Even in sacrifice, let's preserve peace.
For future generations to enjoy the dawn.
For our land to soak deeply in love.
To connect the North and the South into one strip.
Our country .....
Forever....
Complete joy!

2. Poem: Celebrating National Day - Thanh Trúc
Celebrating National Day
Poem by: Thanh Trúc
The Ba Dinh sun shines brightly over the garden of flowers
The Declaration - read by Uncle Ho bursts with happiness
Joy ignites the flaming hearts
Golden stars shine brightly across the homeland.
Freedom - now spreads across countless paths
Independence - empowers every direction with vitality
Uncle Ho still stands under the vast sky
Summoning the entire nation echoes in the mountains and rivers.
The phrase 'I Speak, People Listen'
Has been engraved in the hearts of the Southern Vietnamese people
Hot blood flows eternally undying
Our Fatherland forever resolute and mighty.
Vietnam stands firm amidst the vastness of the universe
The descendants of the Lac Hong with steadfast souls and minds
Treading on pebbles, softening but firm feet
Danger and peril never falter.

3. Poem: Independence Day, September 2 - Pham Quang Thu
Independence Day, Freedom Day, September 2
Poem by Pham Quang Thu
'Can't say the sky is bluer
When the army marches to Hanoi'
Thirty-six streets and wards unite
My country - The voice of peace.
September 2 begins the war of resistance
Independence, Freedom, Peace, Unity
September 2, the land of Poetry and Music
The country of rosy cheeks, Uncle Ho's smile!
I grow up, a country in its twenties
A country of a hundred million courageous people
A country enduring bombs and bullets
And the love of a thousand hearts.
My country, my beautiful and charming country
White storks among lush rice fields
My country, always singing loudly
A proud song, overflowing with poetry.
On the Declaration of Independence day, the song is emancipated
The day of victory bursts with love for the country
My country, peace does not tread straight
The flames of war cannot conquer determination.
Sending back to the distant Independence Day
Millions of hearts like dreaming birds
I write poems praising the Fatherland
September 2 beats with the marching of the Army.
I bow to the Ancestors, the older sisters, and brothers
Who sacrificed their blood for the Nation
A thousand years longing for the Declaration of Independence
The Land of Eternal Spring, defying all enemies!

4. Poem: Glory of a Thousand Years - Phan Trung
Glory of a Thousand Years
Poem by Phan Trung
The sky of Southern Vietnam remembers for decades
The Declaration that was read long ago
In Ba Dinh, on a sunny day
Uncle's words calling out to the whole Country.
That autumn resonated with the Fatherland
The sound of Freedom stirring millions of hearts
'Can you hear me, my fellow countrymen... '
The shadow is still vividly printed.
The entire Nation united to resist
Bringing the North and South together under one roof
So that one day the Country would be covered in flags and flowers
Echoing the glory of the Quoc Son Ha mountains...!

5. Poem: Homeland - Phan Huy Hùng
The Homeland
(by Phan Huy Hùng)
The day Uncle Ho named the country 'Vietnam - Democratic - Republic'
Was the day I was born as dawn knocked on the door
Seventy-three years, the Red River bloomed like a maiden
Hoan Kiem Lake clear as her eyes...
'Once was forest and mountain, once was night
Now adding rivers, seas, and daylight' ()
The Homeland in its adolescence grows rapidly
Those who went afar now return, feeling lost amidst the blooming flowers!
The beloved girl back then has become a grandmother
With a chest adorned in red battle glory... Mother, heroic martyr
The age of the Homeland counted in pages of centuries
The age of humans marked by the pressing of fingers...
Seventy-three years of history not lengthy
Cities, countryside counted in days, counted in months
Blink and see the transformations...
Suddenly, I cry... as if just being born!

6. Poem: Autumn in Ba Dinh, Remembering Uncle Ho
Autumn in Ba Dinh, Remembering Uncle Ho!
Author: Nguyễn Đức Phúc
The Ba Dinh sky, autumn breeze swirling
Uncle Ho's voice echoing everywhere
The declaration of independence is born
Enlightening the nation's shoulders, spanning five continents.
Uncle pauses, asking a beloved question
'Can the compatriots hear me clearly?'
The whole nation moved in their hearts
The shout 'Clear, sir!' rises in the sea of people.
The whole world echoes Uncle's words
The People's voice warmly heard for generations
Vietnam, our beloved country
Firmly believing, shining with Uncle's homeland.
Determined to protect the Fatherland's territory
Wiping out invaders, foreign aggressors
How beautiful Vietnam is

September in Ba Dinh, beautiful as a dream
A stretch of red flag over rivers and mountains

8. Poem: Tales Told as If Just Yesterday
A Story Told as if Just Yesterday
Poetry by Dạ Quỳnh
I return to your homeland amidst September's autumn
A backpack heavy with mist, winds, and silver hues
Eyes gaze deeply, yearning
Inquire about the road home, comrades.
Decades of bombs, like relentless storms
Some stayed, some returned from afar, their steps echoing military marches
Nineteen, twenty, youth unfolded
Marching alongside their fathers, heroic ballads echoing eternally.
Red flags, golden stars flutter in the new sunlight
Steps falter, burdened with thoughts
His mother... surely still awaiting, between reality and dream
Independence brings him back, abundant joy in living.
Mother's eyes moist after months and years of longing
Grasping ashes, he returns to his homeland
War is distant now, memories, longing
Back to mother, warm his heart, oh son.
The autumn sun gently turns golden
Son returns! Though illusory... ashes...
Dạ Quỳnh

9. Poem: Sacred Independence Day - Đỗ Hương
Sacred Independence Day
Poetry by Đỗ Hương
The nation of Vietnam has fully achieved independence!
Many heroes sacrificed their bones and blood
Even a single child absolutely sacrificed
Giving up their whole day for the birth of independence!
The day Uncle Ho passed, the sky wept bitterly!
Millions of compatriots suppressed their tears of sorrow
Oh Uncle Ho! Farewell as you embark
'The world respects you, Lê Nin, Các Mác'...
Every September we bow our heads to commemorate Uncle!
On His Birthday, feeling remorseful towards Him
Countless grasses, birds, the entire earth and sky
Weeping for our Elder Father of the Nation!!!
Rain still falls with myriad tears... !

Vietnam soars proudly alongside
Shoulder to shoulder with powerful nations
Entering the world with grandeur.

We've endured extreme hardships for freedom
Our historical baggage has changed hands
Across continents, we sit shoulder to shoulder.

To make our homeland shine brightly, with beautiful colors The whole nation lives in peace and warmth That virtue, we deeply engrave forever Learning from his noble character, shining brightly
Never letting go, keeping it in our hearts tirelessly Striving endlessly, learning with unwavering determination Nurturing ideas tirelessly, with a steadfast mind Forging a strong and resilient character, aiming high
