1. Poem: BY YOUR SIDE ON THE LAST SUMMER AFTERNOON
BY YOUR SIDE ON THE LAST SUMMER AFTERNOON
-Nghĩa Hoàng Lương-
He came to visit her one late summer afternoon
The wind on the road, leaves fluttering down
Watching the glowing clouds on the horizon
The summer love song, calling, oh! Melancholy and longing
The road may be long, but the wish for a quick meeting
Let go of worries, stop the buzzing sorrows
Because loving you, he keeps the promise
In his heart, with the fate of the rendezvous
Two heads bowed together in the same destiny
Our life journey sharing the same old path
This evening, the end of summer is about to change seasons
A few yellow leaves falling through melancholy
The road back with each falling leaf rhythmically
Braving the storm, but everything is you
Oh, beloved! He calls so softly and gently
The late summer evening, by your side, always missed.

2. Poem: THE LAST SUMMER
THE LAST SUMMER
- Tiểu Khê -The last summer, have you returned?Solitude in phoenix pairs, doubling the longingWhispers of weariness, expressing incomplete wordsFinal rains of the season, gentle breeze passing byThe last summer, even the sun has fadedRivers in reverie, compassionates the land's throbbingLeaves thin and sparse, trees lament from afarThe last summer, waiting for the next season...

3. Poem: LAST SUMMER SONNET - Hương Mrs -le
LAST SUMMER SONNET
Hương Mrs -le
The old street mourns when we part ways
Hands touch mine on the shoulders, wind whispers
Where our rendezvous once filled with pouring sun
At the end of the road, against the wind, who knows where...
End of summer, yet the heart still yearns
Hoping for the gentle season with unspoken desires
Leaves, are they still green by the withered trunk?
Sun, is it still rosy by the windy summit..
Our love song, kept for us to exchange
You wrote for me on some late summer day
The melody serene, the heart still fervent
For in this life, we have learned to love..

4. Poem: STILL WAITING - Trịnh Thanh Hằng
STILL WAITING
Trịnh Thanh Hằng
Still waiting at that old narrow path
The sky remains blue, and the sun sweet
A gentle wind carries dreams along
The old flower garden hugs the sky of memories
Still waiting for the wings of chirping birds
To return to where the sunlight splashes
End of summer, and the world sways
Silent night listens to the cricket's chorus
Still waiting for the days of fondness
Leaning back to find the memories of rainy afternoons
Oh time, suddenly becomes surplus
Closing my eyes, intoxicated with the present
Still waiting for the gentle park evening
Whispering wind with fluffy clouds
Deep black velvet eyes into this wellspring
Who plays with sinking in the abyss of reminiscence
Still waiting for the blazing sunset
To burn the whole world brightly
Squeezing hands, uncertain of the ending
Still waiting, a thousand years, still waiting

5. Poem: PARTING IN SUMMER - Phan Thu Hà
SUMMER PARTING
Phan Thu Hà
Waving hands on parting day
Who knows the farewell story
Pink lotus in the late summer
One bids farewell, the other departs
Which gaze is tearful
Silence needs no words
Tears from the corner of the eye
Fading smile in the distance
Heard the lonely heartbeats
Phoenix depicting sorrowful silk
Who sings the 'White Summer' song
For the lonely path home
Is there a sadder sorrow
Parting and gone forever
Summer won't return
Life's river meanders
Forever missing a childhood
A summer far away
There's someone in white
Preserving summer in the heart...

6. Poem: THE END OF SUMMER. - Ha Nguyen
THE END OF SUMMER.
Ha Nguyen
Summer's end
just go
Abandon worldly desires
Forget the scorching summer
Return to the peaceful river, listen to the wind's song
The banks sway with memories.
The cicadas stop buzzing, when did that happen
Lonely guava falls on the deserted sidewalk
The old riverbank carries heavy sorrows
Paddling echoes, no passengers crossing the river.
Enough, just go, what is there to be attached to
Life has so many twenties
Busy searching, then suffering
Only at the end of summer do we wake up from the dream.

7. Poem: MEMORIES OF FLAMBOYANT FLOWERS - Tony Bui
MEMORIES OF FLAMBOYANT FLOWERS
Poem by: Tony Bui
Fragrance of a red flamboyant petal
Like my love, forever tender for you
A sweet kiss on soft lips
Weaving romance in the summer, love becomes sweeter
Raindrops, each one encapsulates
In the sea of longing, rich with your love
Pink youth, peaceful and serene
The flamboyant's wings press gently, a late acquaintance
Wishing to take the golden moon
Stars in the sky, I would pick all for you
Loving you, wholly, for a lifetime
A flamboyant carriage welcomes you to the palace.

8. Poem: FAREWELL TO SUMMER - Trần Thanh Nhàn
FADING SUMMER
Trần Thanh Nhàn
Afternoon casts the silhouette of a frail mother in the sun
Sweat stains on her shoulder, a curved back under the weight
Conical hat bobbing, rice fields heavy with grain
Faintly, the scent lingers on this last summer day.
Expansive fields emit the aroma of ripe straw
Lamplight smoke weaves through the green bamboo groves
White blossoms of guava bloom at the tips of branches
Clouds drift by lazily, crossing the alley.
A torrential rain floods the narrow path
Calling the lotus to wither, buds revealing smiles
The land's color, the sky's hue
Briefly, a cool breeze whispers in mystery...
Young students glow with the radiant color of the sun
Pens poised, preparing for the school gathering
The flamboyant trees stand adorned in red
Accompanied by the melancholy melody of cicadas bidding farewell to summer.

9. Poem: THE LAST VERSE OF SUMMER - NGUYỄN RUYẾN.
THE LAST VERSE OF SUMMER
NGUYỄN RUYẾN.
Poetry at the end of summer embraces the sun's drops
Brushing away the intense heat, silently awaiting someone
The gentle hum of cicadas descends, a lullaby stretches
The Flamboyant's color gradually fades, igniting the fire
The last rays of summer nurture the salted reminiscence
The old school roof witnesses countless departures
Recalling a time nurturing aspirations
To spread wings far with dreams in tow
The end-of-summer breeze carries the fragrance of pink
As if composing verses with the flowing pen's rhythm
To meet again unexpectedly in the future
Secretly lamenting the past youth...
Overflowing emotions in the last verse of summer
A heartfelt farewell, tears welling up at parting
A fairy's gift to the magical youth
Harmonizing with the golden hues of approaching Autumn...

10. Poem: FAREWELL TO SUMMER - Đào mạnh Thạnh
FAREWELL TO SUMMER
Đào mạnh Thạnh
Farewell,
The dreaming pink phoenix tree
June passed, footsteps hurried, hearts melancholy
The schoolyard now, the phoenix's shadow absent, whose smile?
Now bidding farewell, scattering promises
Farewell,
Now we depart together from school
Release the dreaming soul, the way back home
The pink phoenix scenes on tired shoulders
Blushing face, vows and commitments
Farewell,
The warm love of schoolmates
Now separated, each to their own sky
Summer passed, the clusters of phoenix now lonely
Many violet clouds, the sky painted with memories
Farewell,
Whose eyes look bewildered
A shared joy, someone holds the pink phoenix
Words of love secretly hidden in the heart
A breeze turns, looking back, profound sadness
Farewell,
Youthful dreams deeply ingrained
June has soaked in farewell drops
Oh dear love, summer lowers, lingering for a moment
Farewell...
.......who will remember the summer.......

11. Poem: LAST SUMMER AFTERNOON - Trần Tuyết Tuyết
LAST SUMMER AFTERNOON
Trần Tuyết Tuyết
On the last summer afternoon, the falling season lingers in dreams
A profound longing for the golden sun and its gentle descent
Suddenly, loneliness quietly drops into life, missing you in a thousand memories
On the last summer afternoon, the heart feels bewildered
The bustling streets are crowded with anticipation
I am quietly absent with abundant love
Suddenly feeling myself embracing the lonely
On the last summer afternoon, oh memories, softly return
I adorn my cheeks with blush to wait
You will come in an unexpected dream
To warm my heart so I can write love poems
On the last summer afternoon, the golden sun is like honey
The shy sun blushes, nestling into me
I stand awkwardly with passionate kisses
You send them along with the soft and gentle light
On the last summer afternoon, I miss you so much
A strange longing, a turbulent memory
A gentle longing, a very sweet memory
I am happy in this love with you
On the last summer afternoon, the sun sets, falling in front of the lane
Like your bright eyes in the night sky
I send you words of love in the wind
Loving you so much with a gentle and sweet memory...

12. Poem: ONLY REMAINS AS MEMORIES - Lê Mỹ Hường
ONLY REMAINS AS MEMORIES
Lê Mỹ Hường
I return here to the old path
The late summer sun is no longer vibrant
Grasping the red phoenix wing, a passion of old
Did you keep for me the vow intact?
I return here to revisit the hometown river
The small boat still moors, paddle waiting
Interwoven threads of golden sunlight gently illuminate
The river is also sad, where is the old you?
In this life, who can measure the depth
Of that love I gave you so sincerely?
But in the end, what is left - lost
Due to the human heart or the test of time?
So, don't lament, don't sigh, my dear
Beautiful memories are just a thing of the past
Please keep the memories for me, a time of pure hearts asleep
Let me quietly return
and then depart peacefully
As if there were never a farewell
on the last day of summer...!

13. Poem: AT THE END OF SUMMER - Bùi Văn Huy
AT THE END OF SUMMER
Bùi Văn Huy
Dreamy wind draws clouds at the end of summer
The thin umbrella suddenly becomes unfamiliar
Rain lightly falls on the thresholds
Next to the door, next to the porch, a bit lonely
On the sparse fence, shadows are faintly swirling
The flowers on the branches seem silent and lonely
Fluttering wings whisper forgetfulness, hiding colors
Trembling timidly in the wind, as if soulless
At the end of summer, the cicadas cease their melancholy
The locust tree is full of fragrance in the evening
The phoenix tree vibrates again, busy and attentive
Hiding its pink wings behind the fluttering leaves
At the end of summer, the drum in the school urges
The pen's page, the sun sets, purple spreads
The exam season comes, white shirts create shadows of summer
Fluttering, flying far, the wings of pigeons

14. Poem: PEACEFULNESS - Trần Thị Tĩnh
SERENITY
Trần Thị Tĩnh
And so after several thunderstorms
The late summer sky gently returns
The wind whispers carrying wild sorrows
Briefly halting, then quietly drifting away.
Clouds so close to the vast blue sky
Nights are suspenseful with many secrets
Eyes awake in ponder, gaining - losing
Once more closing with a discreet cross mark!
And so it is... autumn comes gently... SERENITY./.

15. Poem: LONGING FOR RAINY DAYS - Realm of Memories
LONGING FOR RAINY DAYS
Realm of Memories
Loving alone, so the love dies in silence
Night falls... Distant prayers echo faintly
July's rain... moistens the silent heart
Who returns... to lull my dreams again?
Since when have we abandoned joy
Embracing the night, missing windy days
Softly calling, then startling... suddenly remembering
What do we have, besides a poorly sung melody?
Summer wakes up, yearning for wandering lives
People like birds sinking into oblivion
We also confine past love to the endless
Love, how far... will eventually fade
Tomorrow, we return to sleep amid flowers
Amidst sunlight, amidst July's rain
A love song from centuries... has broken
Farewell to you, into... the virgin memories
We traverse through late melancholic days
Implicitly accepting our lives as they are
Implicitly understanding the awakened journey -
A broken heart
Implicitly, my heart loves even the rainy days

16. Poem: THE LAST LOTUS - Hong Vu
THE LAST LOTUS
By Hong Vu
By your side
As the sunlight wanes
We know
summer is bidding farewell
You quietly remind
Begging you, do not lament
The lotus is old, new chrysanthemums
Blossom yellow
Days pass by
Swiftly flowing, vast and endless
So cherish the memories
Falling with each moment
The tree remembers summer
Leaves turn melancholy
Two pink shadows
Fall at the end of the lotus season
Here you are
Of the waning sunlight
A myriad of gentle petals, the fragrance of late summer
A myriad of lush leaves
No fading, no withering hues
For the pond remains green
With fullness in its heart
Here you are
Despite storms through the days
Pearls still form
Pure and crystalline
Even if the season ends
It still offers earnestness
Waiting for autumn to return
To peacefully sleep in an afternoon
I promise you
When the sunlight rises again
You, a new self
While I have become old
Then my dear
Do not hesitate anymore
For life is
A dream adorned with vanishing clouds
By your side
A fluttering heart, confused
A farewell moment
With a hint of confusion
Lips sealed
Soft, fresh silk
Must be the lotus
Or is autumn arriving???

17. Poem: WAITING FOR YOU! - Hoa Lư
WAITING FOR YOU!
Author: Hoa Lư
The late summer sun still pours gently and tilts
A light breeze carries the leaves lightly swaying
The green lake reflects the beautiful silhouette of you
Some leaves swing across your shoulders like a cloak
Through the window frame, gaze at the vague clouds
Gently drifting, reminiscent of your old flowing dress
The blue color embraces the small, perfectly fitting figure
I forever remember an old rainy evening in summer
As the afternoon gradually releases! Bringing a stormy whirlwind
In the distance, dark clouds loom
The wind has risen... the sound of raindrops on the eaves
The last summer rain softens the intense heat
Softly, feeling my heart throbbing
Suddenly realize the memory... recalling you
This summer, I want to write more
And await the news on the last summer night rain
It's still poetry! Please don't find it strange
Still in love as our paths cross
I wait for you with all my heart
Far away, do you still remember the summer?

18. Poem: SUN & RAIN - Nguyễn Duy Phương
SUN & RAIN
Nguyễn Duy Phương
The wandering sun throughout the paths seeking someone.
Late summer, scattering golden sun like fire.
The cicadas, tired at the end of the season, cease their calls.
Where is there a place still holding onto the footsteps of rain?
The sun graciously watches the playful waves.
Hiding affection in the sandy shore's sharpness.
The sea remains full, yet the heart yearns.
Which burning footsteps await someone in the distance...
Unforgettable longing cannot be erased.
Many days and months of sun searching... missing the rain.
This cycle brings clouds in the wind.
Then, the day of reunion, where sun meets rain...
Still here is a foolish dreamer.
Filled with sun, searching in distant shakes.
Dreaming of a day to see the seven-colored rainbow.
Radiant across the sky, where sun meets rain...

19. Poem: YOU AND I - Vọng Thanh
YOU AND I
Vọng Thanh
You and I,
two strangers in the vastness
Unintentionally passing by each other.
I, a wandering man, a bird soaring in the sky,
Sipping the worldly water, craving a satisfying feast.
She!
A woman... loyal, yet romantically passionate.
Missing half a crescent moon, soothing poetic verses in the June breeze.
Me!
A kite breaking free, floating on stormy days.
Entangled by the threads of love, anchored during the season of affection.
Half a life wandering, lost in the afternoon.
Touching the season of love, returning home to hear the river weep.
Indeed! I am naive, bearing the marks of the whip horizontally and vertically.
Yet, still embracing the dream, lost in a hundred years of love.
You passing through my life, as if in the eternal palace.
Never considering the vast cosmos, shifting to the end of the world.
I love her, cherish her obedient hands, untouched by storms.
Laden with memories through countless seasons, casually.
Indeed... Summer at the end bids farewell, and the wind leans towards autumn.
The phoenix tree leaves sway in this evening, sadly dissolving into the wind.
Tomorrow, I will return to gift a branch of phong ba*, so you remember at the alley entrance.
Let it shield doubts and fears of nameless storms.
She!
A woman sleeping soundly on noble arms.
Adorning a graceful voan scarf around the slender neck, splendid and dazzling.
She bathes me in the bottomless river, immersed and tingling.
Drenched entirely, hearing the rushing river, vast and profound.
I accept becoming a drifting kite, praying to be a sail swaying aimlessly.
My joy is seeing her peaceful and happy every day.
She wraps dreams in a sweet left-hand turn.
Regardless of storms, carefree, dreaming for a hundred years.
Indeed... Summer's end, winds turn towards autumn.
Embracing the longing, dreams of a rainbow after the rain.
My foolish self dreams of a day seeing the seven-colored rainbow.
Brilliant across the sky, where you and I meet...

20. Poem: SWEET END OF SUMMER - Nghi Lâm
SWEET END OF SUMMER
Poetry: Nghi Lâm
She came here one late afternoon of summer's end
The sun radiated brilliantly in the sky
In his hands, a bouquet so pretty
To give, marking the arrival of love
Night farewells, tears wetting the rosy cheeks
Drops of separation moistening the blushed skin
The orchid leaves gently rustle
The Old Quarter saddened by someone's absence
Saigon welcomes her, the sky incubating sunlight
Bạch Đằng Wharf adorned with colorful flowers
He's enchanted admiring her graceful figure
Glowing in an áo dài, the phoenix's tailcoat
Reunion within the excitement
A sweet kiss on lips so tender
From now on, he's no longer alone
For there's her, sharing and caring
The two, joyously side by side
Admiring the beloved phoenix on the roadside
Passing through, the heart lingers
Contemplating the end of summer
And summer leaves without regret
The cicadas' buzz resounds endlessly
Purple clouds gently fade by
ONLY US, SWEET AND HAPPY!
(Saigon, morning of June 24, 2019.) N.L
