More than forty years have passed, we've been apart
Christmas days when we were together
The Holy Cathedral shimmering with a thousand stars
Illuminating the central area brightly

Christmas melodies fill our hearts like blooming flowers
We gently walk together to pray
Celebrating the birth of the Lord, a lasting destiny
Living fulfilled as countless prayers wished

The promises spoken by you and me in advance
Surely the Lord heard to bless us
In the Cathedral, candles and flowers abound
Fragrance spreading to welcome the joyous couple

Since then, love has grown deeper
Filling both lonely hearts
You choked up, unable to speak
As I kissed your warm lips

Everyone thought we were deeply in love
Surely one day we would return to our shared home
With the joyous and splendid happiness
Of a radiant wedding marking our bond

Little did we know, one autumn day with whispering sunshine
The birds had left the nest, flying far away
Forgetting the love that bore fruit and blossomed
All the memorable Christmas seasons

Now, after a long period of contemplation
With your figure imprinted from the past
I only have the painful memory

I gaze, catching a glimpse of flying cloaks
In the crowd, no sign of you
Are you still in a distant and profound place?

Night falls, the streets immersed in enchantment
A sudden sadness, remembering a hand
On this night, who led you away?
Or are you just waiting alone, like me?

Though we made a promise, I haven't arrived yet
So now, each of us is in a different place
Streetlights emit faint rays of light
I stand still, watching the endless flow of people.

The church bell echoes from afar
The ringing resonates deeply in the heart
I wonder, is it cold where you are?
Does the wind disturb your flowing hair?

This Christmas, we haven't met
Wishing for blessings to meet next year
Promise on the day we hold hands
Entering the splendid Cathedral together.

... do you remember, my love?
We used to go to the church to watch the ceremony
Outsiders may not understand the rituals
But they pray for peace in the Christmas celebration.

That Christmas...
... how brilliantly it shone
You softly spoke of our love like a shining star
And I, a romantic planet in your universe
You live with kindness, a blessing from God

This year's Noel...
...I wander alone
Passing by the church, unexpectedly empty
Hearing the hymns, my heart feels burdened
Where is the brilliance? Why is the throne empty?

Now you...
...seem too far away
What remains within reach for me?
Noel returns, eagerly anticipated by many
Yet my heart remains solitary and desolate

Amidst clouds, no distance to construe

A gentle kiss is set in the fold

Turning towards that direction, in the cold winter
Now, does the snow still gently fall?

Who stays awake for Christmas, waiting for the ringing bells
Resonating prayers, the sound of hymns
Restless with an ancient echoing phrase
Longing hearts, now facing each other from afar

Have you passed by the old church?
Hearing the echoing bells in the cathedral
Do you quietly recall a day with falling leaves?
You once gave me a word of love

This winter, we both are in a silent space
Listening to the approaching holy night
Praying for blessings and wishes
Peace for all people on Earth

Wishing for a splendid spring
Bringing joy to every home
The sun will shine, and flowers will bloom
Everyone will join in the song of spring.

Hears someone knocking at the door
Santa Claus in a red hat
Strokes his beard, smiles so bright

She hurriedly wakes up
Doesn't see Santa Claus
But there's a letter sent back
Along with a small shiny gift
Sparkling like stars

Oh, it's so beautiful
In the letter, he wrote
'Last year, you were diligent
Studied well and behaved
Listened to your teachers and parents
Wrote clear and beautiful letters
As the new year begins
You're a year older now
Must be good and smart
Next year, Santa will visit
Bringing even more beautiful gifts
Santa quickly departs
Many little friends are waiting'...

She opens the gift in awe
Thinking it's like a dream
