Sisterhood 2 is inspired by the legendary tale of Ba Trà and Tư Nhị, two famous women from early 20th-century Saigon. Ba Trà (played by Minh Hằng) was born in Long An in 1906, orphaned, and abused by her mother, leading her to escape to Saigon. Her beauty captivated the elite of the time, including the notorious Hắc Công Tử (Công tử Bạc Liêu, Trần Trinh Huy) and Bạch Công Tử (Lê Công Phước). Meanwhile, Tư Nhị (Ngọc Trinh), another country girl who entered Saigon and was drawn into the elite circle, is seen as the younger counterpart to Ba Trà. The plot revolves around their first encounter and portrays the glamorous yet hidden world of Saigon a century ago.
