Embarking on a journey to Pù Luông (Thanh Hóa) will be a novel experience for travelers who love to explore the beauty of untouched, majestic, yet serene mountainous forests.
Top 3 Stunning Check-In Spots Not to Miss When Traveling to Pù Luông
Mường Warehouse
Mường Warehouse is a pristine valley located in the buffer zone of the Pù Luông Nature Reserve. From above, it presents a simple, rustic charm with stilt houses nestled at the foot of the mountains. Most roofs are thatched or palm leaves, with livestock housed below, while people sleep above as per tradition. In front of the stilt houses are terraced fields stretching leisurely. Surrounding the valley are pristine, ancient forests embracing and protecting the village.

Visiting Kho Mường, besides its breathtaking landscape and majestic terrain, travelers can explore mystical caves with fascinating stalactites and stalagmites. From Kho Mường, you can follow the route of the 4 Muong villages: Pốn – Thành Công – Cao Hoong – Bản Kịt to discover the distinctive cultural features, or take the trail connecting Kho Mường to Ươi Village – Phố Đoàn to reach Quắn Village, where peaceful, humble houses await.

Bản Hiêu
Bản Hiêu, located in Co Lung commune, Ba Thuoc district, is nestled in the heart of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. During the ripe rice season in Pu Luong, the 25 km road from Canh Nang town to Ban Hieu is exceptionally beautiful, flanked by terraced fields on both sides of the stream.

Besides its stunning natural scenery, this place is also famous for the Hiệu stream, which has the ability to turn trees into stone. Due to its high limestone content, the water from Hiệu stream mineralizes the roots of trees lying beneath its surface. The end of June or October is when the terraced fields here begin to turn golden, making Ban Hieu and Pu Luong the most beautiful during the year.

Puluong Retreat
Pu Luong Retreat, situated in the Pu Luong National Reserve, in Ban Don, Thanh Lam commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa, has recently become a buzzing hotspot among young people in the North.

Puluong Retreat features 8 charming bungalows built right next to the terraced fields. All bungalows here boast stunning views overlooking the valley below. Every morning, you will be amazed by the misty clouds and the radiant sunrise from the distant mountain ranges.

PuLuong Retreat is designed in an eco-friendly manner, avoiding electricity-consuming and modern appliances like TV, fridge, and air conditioner. This ensures the most comfortable and relaxing moments, completely detached from the noisy, modern life, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in nature!
