Bản Hiêu, located in Co Lung commune, Ba Thuoc district, is nestled in the heart of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. During the ripe rice season in Pu Luong, the 25 km road from Canh Nang town to Ban Hieu is exceptionally beautiful, flanked by terraced fields on both sides of the stream.
Besides its stunning natural scenery, this place is also famous for the Hiệu stream, which has the ability to turn trees into stone. Due to its high limestone content, the water from Hiệu stream mineralizes the roots of trees lying beneath its surface. The end of June or October is when the terraced fields here begin to turn golden, making Ban Hieu and Pu Luong the most beautiful during the year.

Traveling to Pu Luong Nature Reserve
From Hanoi, you can travel by motorbike or car to Lac village, Mai Chau, then continue towards the Co Luong direction. Turn onto the 15C road along the Ma River to reach Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
If starting from Thanh Hoa City, head northwest along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, then turn right at Cam Thuy town. You will encounter the 15C road at Canh Nang town, then drive about 10 km further to reach.
