Top 5 - Paine
In this S4 2023 season, Paine boasts an incredibly impressive pick rate and win rate. Especially after the release of the Great Swordsman skin, it has sparked a huge craze, as if everyone and their dog are playing him because they didn't expect him to dish out such insane damage.

The new patch has made Paine face some difficulties in jungle farming, as the walls are much thicker now, making it sometimes challenging to cut through the jungle and monsters. However, the new map brings him superior ganking capabilities, especially when swooping in mid lane without worrying about being spotted. So if you see enemies overextended, a swift Shadow Burst will surely catch them off guard. Speaking of damage, once the music starts playing, enemies have no choice but to retreat even with Blink allowing them to dodge.
On the contrary, once Paine falls behind, his cuts feel like mosquito bites, meaning nothing significant. Therefore, players of this Liên Quân Assassin must capitalize on his early-game strength to continually apply pressure and steadily increase experience and gold for themselves. In the new map, the blue buff cave is too easy to access and steal, so he can also 'steal and run' back home swiftly.
Top 4 - Zill
Zill is a special type of Assassin, not known for quick burst damage but rather for his slippery nature, causing annoyance due to his unique combo. Zill's playstyle and equipment in the S4 2023 season haven't changed much, but what gamers need to focus on is how to jump multiple times with his second skill to create illusions and deal damage like Chinese Mages, not just activate his ultimate and let it suck enemies in like before.
So to play Zill well this season, your skills need to level up too. Mytour asserts that in this new version, players must immediately practice how to use Zill's second skill to stack passives because it's very beneficial. If you grab Tà Thần Caesar by minute 15, the team also gets a significant buff, having both virtual armor and burning damage, making Zill's 'upwind spiral' combo much stronger.

This Liên Quân Assassin only stays at an okay level when ganking because if teammates lack hard control and can't burst down enemies, they simply need to Blink and run. Therefore, players should be wise in choosing targets for maximum effectiveness. In summary, the most important thing is knowing how to optimize skill 1, stack many passives, and then spam skill 2 continuously because only by playing like this can you bridge and catch enemy carries.
Top 3 - Butterfly
The lady Butterfly is a renowned Liên Quân Assassin card for Jungling across various ranks, especially favored by hired teams to fit into their 5-minute game pressure lineups. In my opinion, she is one of the most recommended Junglers to play in this S4 season, and if you've noticed, Butterfly is also making quite a comeback in the meta.

The strength of this hero lies in her damage output, but players must learn to control her passive. While Butterfly's skill set doesn't require too much direction, in some cases, we must leverage nearby minions, monsters, or heroes to bridge and reach enemy carries. In the later stages, diving deep into the enemy backline to catch carries isn't easy, especially in the current version where if you eat the big target by minute 15 but can't call Caesar, Butterfly's situations of being stranded become even more exhausting. However, as Mytour shared above, players can utilize enemy minions or tankers to bridge when having enough 3 stacks, if jumping smoothly and at the right moment, nothing can make Butterfly difficult.
Top 2 - Murad
Murad performs well in both solo lanes and jungling. Depending on the matchup and each player's personal itemization preferences, Murad can make a difference. If you notice, from the Expert 2x tier onwards, Murad appears more frequently.

Agreed that Murad with Blink on lanes and without too much burden to constantly gank since this Liên Quân Assassin type requires farming and new items to apply pressure, so if you gank and end up giving away two or three deaths, the ultimate won't deal much damage to enemies. However, in the jungle, having the blue buff with Soulreaver provides a significant cooldown reduction, making him safer and more confident when building Tough Boots, not afraid of being controlled too much.
If Murad goes blue and adds Desperate Duel with skilled players, he creates significant pressure in any position. When a card like Murad with wide-ranging ultimate is in the team, pressuring or controlling big targets becomes extremely easy, of course, under the condition that Murad isn't reckless and doesn't get caught by enemies. In conclusion, Mytour evaluates this card as very worth playing in this S4 2023 season, bringing great effectiveness to the team.
Top 1 - Sun Wukong
Who is the top Assassin in Liên Quân Mobile S4? According to Mytour, it's still Sun Wukong, a card with immense pressure due to his massive damage output. Although currently picking Sun Wukong in the new version may push him towards the late game due to being spotted during ganks with the benefits from Tà Thần Caesar, it can be mitigated because if the enemy is on the defensive, it doesn't affect much, especially with solid defenses.

Not to mention in the Virtual Dream World edition, Sun Wukong lurks in bushes near big targets in an unpredictable manner because there are too many bushes around. If Sun Wukong manages to reach enemy carries, they'll vanish immediately. However, currently, at ranks 3x and above, it's all about map hacks, so picking Sun Wukong can be risky because he can't create many surprises or force opponents to dodge and counterattack actively.
If facing a skilled team, with good synergy and Sun Wukong not being too reckless, you can still dominate the game. Remember, he's a late-game hero and heavily item-dependent, so if encountering troubles, don't chase after them but focus on farming and checking the map regularly, and when engaging, be the one to finish the fight.
