5. XP-3180 Cosmos Oxygen Gas Detector
The XP-3180 Gas Detector manufactured by Cosmos (Japan) is designed to measure oxygen gas concentration in the air using absorption type, displaying oxygen gas concentration in %vol. The XP-3180 samples air through a 1m long tube and has a measuring range from 0 – 25%vol. A filter is equipped on the tube to separate dust and water, enhancing the lifespan of the oxygen gas sensor in the device. It is worth noting that the oxygen concentration in the air is only from 0 – 21%vol, thus, XP-3180 is capable of measuring oxygen gas leakage outside the air.
