In the latest Dota 2 7.22g update by Vavel, developers have reduced the power of some key heroes in matches, those heroes considered pivotal in competitive play, with high win rates in major tournaments and often being prioritized picks.

5 Heroes Undergoing Power Reduction in Dota 2 7.22g
1. Alchemist
Alchemist was chosen seven times in The International 2019 tournament, securing five victories and boasting a win rate of 71%, which is quite high at the professional level of Dota 2.
With his third skill, Alchemist has the ability to farm excessively when left unchecked or supported by allies. He can easily be played as a mid or safe lane carry, requiring only support to stack multiple jungle camps, assisting him in acquiring Radiance very early.
Upon completing his initial item set, Alchemist can easily snowball in the game. Previously, Alchemist was never too strong in the early stages of the match, but in recent patches, he has gained excellent talents such as -7 second skill cooldown at level 10, and +50 damage at level 15, helping him farm and participate in crucial team fights.
Due to this, Vavel has reduced Alchemist's gold accumulation per stack from skill 3, removed mana regeneration from the Ultimate, and reduced the level 15 Talent from 50 damage to 30 damage. The limitations on attacking capability and income from skill 3 have been significantly lowered, making Alchemist more challenging to play in upcoming patches.
2. Faceless Void
Faceless Void was picked 13 times in international professional tournaments, securing 9 victories with a win rate of 69%. He excels in the current meta and possesses exceptional escape abilities through Timewalk.
Faceless Void possesses an outstanding passive ability providing him with a bash, enhancing his crowd control capabilities beyond his inherent strengths, alongside one of the strongest ultimates in the game. What truly makes Void formidable and difficult to deal with is the bash chance on his third skill, coupled with the late-game bonuses from his talents.
3. Enchantress
Enchantress ranks among the most banned heroes in tournaments, alongside Alchemist. She has been selected 12 times in The International 2019, boasting a 58% win rate. Enchantress received several buffs prior to TI9, demonstrating remarkable lane sustainability and creating opportunities for other cores in the team. Enchantress possesses a health regeneration skill costing 170 mana during the laning phase. Additionally, her ability to slow down enemy attacks adds to her versatility, prompting Vavel to confidently nerf both of these skills.
4. Gyrocopter
Gyrocopter has been selected in a total of 12 matches, elevating the win rate to 58%. Gyro is one of the most balanced heroes and can be played in any position, in any situation. With significant damage output against isolated targets with his first and third skills. Additionally, he possesses very low cooldown abilities, making him a highly team-oriented hero. Gyro also has excellent talents that synergize well with other heroes, making him more formidable than ever.
In Dota 2 7.22g, Gyrocopter's power has been reduced when upgrading to Scepter, and Side Gunner's firing rate has decreased from 1.1 to 1.2 per second. His lane pushing ability and income from skills have also been significantly reduced.
5. Tiny
Tiny is a threat when in the hands of professional players or those who know how to utilize him. He can be played in various roles, making it extremely difficult for opponents to predict his item build. Tiny has been picked 23 times at TI9 with a commendable win rate of 57% on the Dota 2 leaderboard, which is quite impressive.
Tiny excels in creating space for teammates and has the ability to eliminate opponents with the damage from his first two skills. In previous versions, Tiny had a good itemization path in the late game, especially with the talent from Afghanistanim's Scepter. The damage and cooldown of Tree Volley have been adjusted in previous patches.
