In recent days, Vietnamese fans are still haunted by Quang Hải's stunning goal against U23 Qatar, which equalized the score 2-2 in the 87th minute of the match. There’s no need to add more commentary on the beauty of the goal, as Quang Hải flawlessly curved a rainbow shot into the net. No words can truly describe the overwhelming emotions this goal stirred in fans. Many, including commentator Bien Cuong, were brought to tears by the resilience of our young players. SEA Games 22 marked the first time Vietnam hosted the Southeast Asian Games, and it was expected to be the most memorable one, bringing home the gold. The Vietnamese audience was not disappointed. The U23 Vietnam national team played with incredible determination, earning a spot in the final match at the Mỹ Đình Stadium, with a significant contribution from the 'prodigy' Pham Van Quyen. It was truly a grand celebration for Vietnamese football. In the final, despite being behind to U23 Thailand, which seemed to hint at another defeat to the Thai team, Van Quyen made his mark by scoring an incredible volley in the dying minutes, bringing overwhelming joy to the spectators, with many unable to hold back their tears. Unfortunately, in extra time, the Vietnamese team conceded a goal and missed out on the gold medal.

4. Le Cong Vinh's winning goal against Thailand
The 2008 AFF Cup was a landmark in Vietnam's football history, as it was the first time the national team was crowned champions of Southeast Asia. It was a moment of pure emotion—tears of joy, pride, and happiness encapsulated in Le Cong Vinh's goal in the 3rd minute of injury time. With the team exhausted and unable to continue into extra time, Vinh's historic header sealed Vietnam's victory, with a 3-2 aggregate score over two legs of the final. Football fans who appreciate beautiful play will never forget the memories of Vietnam's U19 team.
