1. Asanzo
Originally known for its expertise in TV products, Asanzo's ambitions extend far beyond that. Recently, the company shifted focus to the smartphone market in Vietnam, aiming to keep up with the latest tech trends. Asanzo has chosen to target the budget smartphone segment, with products priced under 5 million VND. Their phones are meticulously designed, offering strong configurations and, most notably, long-lasting battery life.

2. Viettel
Viettel is the only telecom provider in Vietnam to enter the smartphone market, making a mark with models such as the V8404 and V8403, which are affordably priced at around 1.5 million VND. In April this year, the company launched a high-security smartphone featuring advanced features like remote data wiping, anti-eavesdropping, ad blocking, and call blocking. This device, which is expected to hit the market by the end of the year, boasts a refined design reminiscent of high-end Vertu phones. It comes with 2GB RAM, a Snapdragon 430 chip, and is priced starting at around 1000 USD (approximately 22.7 million VND).

3. BKAV - BPhone
Two years ago, BKAV's BPhone was launched and quickly became a hot topic, thanks to its bold slogan 'the world's leading smartphone' and an aggressive marketing strategy. While the product later faded into the background and eventually disappeared for various reasons, the launch of BPhone demonstrated BKAV's commitment to creating a truly 'made-in-Vietnam' smartphone. This year, CEO Nguyễn Tử Quảng and his team made an exciting comeback with the BPhone 2, having gained valuable insights from the first generation. There is hope that this smartphone will meet the high expectations of the Vietnamese user community.

4. Mobiistar
Few people know that Mobiistar, a purely Vietnamese phone brand, has been around for 8 years. Initially, the company sold affordable feature phones priced at only a few hundred thousand VND. However, in 2011, Mobiistar entered the smartphone market with Android-powered devices at budget-friendly prices. After establishing itself, Mobiistar smartphones have gained a strong presence in the minds of Vietnamese consumers, offering excellent configurations at affordable prices and continuously improving in design. The most notable product from Mobiistar today is the Zumbo S2.

5. VNPT
Four years ago, VNPT surprised many by launching its own smartphone, the Vivas Lotus S1. The company announced that this was the first Vietnamese-branded smartphone to be assembled domestically. The product showcased Vietnamese identity, with an elegant stylized lotus flower logo. Over the past four years, VNPT has released five models: S1, S2, S2 Eco, S2 Pro, and most recently, the S3.
