Trúc Anh, whose full name is Nguyễn Trúc Anh, was born on September 23, 1998, in Ho Chi Minh City. She is a self-taught actress in Vietnam, widely recognized for her role as Hà Lan in the film *Mắt Biếc*, directed by Victor Vũ. Apart from acting, she has also dabbled in modeling and appeared in advertisements for several famous brands in Vietnam.
Trúc Anh grew up in Ho Chi Minh City and is currently studying Communication Management at Greenwich University. In 2014, she participated in the Vietnam Ao Dai Beauty Contest, reaching the Top 20. Before her breakthrough in *Mắt Biếc*, Trúc Anh had attempted a leading role in the youth film *Ngốc ơi tuổi 17*, though it didn't make much impact. She also appeared in a number of short films in the school genre, which gained a large following among young viewers on YouTube, including titles like *Ê! Nhỏ lớp trưởng*, *Hoàng hôn đến từ bình minh*, and *Nhà nàng ở cạnh nhà tôi*.
To land the role of Hà Lan in *Mắt Biếc*, Trúc Anh was selected from over 1,400 applicants by director Victor Vũ. With her sparkling, expressive eyes, she quickly earned praise for her authentic performance, capturing the innocence of a schoolgirl experiencing her first love and the disappointment of unspoken feelings. *Mắt Biếc* grossed over 50 billion VND, becoming one of the fastest-growing films in Vietnamese cinema history. The success of the film brought Trúc Anh significant recognition, and she has recently received further attention for her role in the film *Thiên thần hộ mệnh*, also directed by Victor Vũ.


2. Tam Triều Dâng
Actress Tam Triều Dâng, born Lê Tam Triều Dâng on July 10, 1998, in Tây Ninh, is a young actress whose acting experience has garnered much admiration. She made her mark in several notable films such as *Chuyện làng bè*, *Tiệm bánh hoàng tử bé*, *Ông Tơ – Bà Nguyệt*, and *Thần tượng*. In addition to her acting career, Tam Triều Dâng has explored various fields, including modeling and business. Some of her works include *Ngày ấy mình đã yêu*, *Chuyện làng bè*, *Tiệm bánh hoàng tử bé*, *Biệt đội 12A1*, and *100 ngày bên em*.
Her unique name originates from the phrase *Hương Hoa Dâng Đời*. Tam Triều Dâng once shared that her family has three sisters named Lê Nhất Hương, Lê Nhị Hoa, and Lê Tam Triều Dâng, and their parents had planned to name a fourth sibling Lê Tứ Đời, which would have made the names sound like *Hương Hoa Dâng Đời*. While the names Nhất Hương and Nhị Hoa seem fitting, her name has sometimes led to misunderstandings.
Tam Triều Dâng's first acting role came when she was only 13, still in elementary school. Her debut in the film *Hit: Hoàng tử và Lọ Lem* was cut before its release, leading some to believe she was exaggerating and causing some negative attention. Despite the setback, she quickly regained her focus and continued to improve her acting. However, after a while, she stepped back from acting to focus on her education, turning down many film offers.
After a three-year hiatus, Tam Triều Dâng made her return to acting with the film *Nước Mắt Loài Cỏ Dại*. Despite the long break, she maintained her acting skills and confidence. Her collaboration with Xuân Phúc in the film was a positive experience and marked a successful return to the industry. In 2023, Tam Triều Dâng played the role of Hoàng Yến in the TV series *Hoa Vương*, directed by Đỗ Phú Hải and Hoàng Trần Minh Đức.


3. Thùy Tiên
The beauty queen Thùy Tiên, born Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên on August 12, 1998, is a renowned Vietnamese model and beauty queen. She earned the title of First Runner-up at the *Hoa khôi Nam Bộ 2017* pageant and placed in the Top 5 at *Hoa hậu Việt Nam 2018*, winning the *Miss Charity* award. In 2018, she also represented Vietnam at the *Miss International* pageant.
Growing up, Thùy Tiên faced many hardships, as she was separated from her parents when she was just four years old after they divorced. Despite this, she maintained an optimistic outlook and worked hard to support herself. She took on various jobs such as a hotel receptionist and a model to pay for her tuition, while also serving as a teaching assistant at an English center to improve her language skills and earn extra income.
In 2019, Thùy Tiên pursued studies in Hospitality Management at Hoa Sen University, a program in partnership with Vatel International Business School in France. She began her pageant career in 2017 by participating in the *Hoa khôi Nam Bộ 2017* competition, where she was crowned First Runner-up. This success paved the way for her participation in *Hoa hậu Việt Nam 2018*, where she made it into the Top 5 and won the *Miss Charity* title. On January 16, 2021, Thùy Tiên traveled to Phuket, Thailand to compete in *Miss Grand International 2021*, a highly anticipated competition. During the Q&A session, Thùy Tiên astonished both the judges and audience by answering in both Thai and English, eventually claiming the crown as the first-ever Vietnamese winner of the pageant.
In recognition of her accomplishments, she received the *2021 Young Faces Award* from Vietnam's Prime Minister, Phạm Minh Chính, for her outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs Movement. Throughout her reign, Thùy Tiên has dedicated herself to charity work, and recently, she announced the launch of a new project in Africa. 4. Phương Nga
Miss Vietnam Runner-up Phương Nga, whose full name is Bùi Phương Nga, was born on November 16, 1998. She won the title of *First Runner-up* in the *Miss Vietnam 2018* pageant and represented Vietnam at the *Miss Grand International 2018* competition, making it to the Top 10 after receiving significant public votes. Phương Nga was also crowned *Miss Vietnam’s Cover Girl* in 2017 by the *Sinh viên Việt Nam* newspaper. Known for her intelligence, Phương Nga has always excelled academically. She successfully passed the entrance exam to the *Finance Department* at the prestigious *National Economics University*, where she graduated with honors in advanced finance.
In 2018, Phương Nga participated in the *Miss Vietnam* pageant, gaining widespread public support and ultimately securing the *First Runner-up* title. Thanks to her popularity with the audience, she was directly placed in the Top 10 of *Miss Grand International 2018*, in addition to winning several special awards: *Miss Most Voted by the Public*, *Most-Liked and Shared Official Portraits for Asia and Oceania*, *Top 5 Hottest Contestants in the Preliminary Round*, and *Top 12 Best National Costumes*.
A reserved individual, Phương Nga has been known for carefully managing her public image. However, recently, she surprised her fans by revealing her relationship with actor Bình An. The two met in 2017 when Bình An, who later became her fiancé, encouraged her to enter the pageant. After going public with their relationship, Phương Nga and Bình An have frequently appeared together at various events. On February 13, 2022, after nearly five years of dating, Bình An proposed to Phương Nga in a heartfelt ceremony attended by family and friends. The couple officially married on October 21, 2022, marking a beautiful milestone in their love story.


5. Phương Anh
First Runner-up Phương Anh, born Phạm Ngọc Phương Anh on June 14, 1998, in Ho Chi Minh City, is a Vietnamese beauty queen, model, and news editor. She was crowned *Miss Ao Dai Schoolgirl* in 2015, became the *First Runner-up* in *Miss Vietnam 2020*, and represented Vietnam at the *Miss International 2022* pageant.
Phương Anh impressed her peers from a young age with her exceptional academic abilities. She was the top student in the bilingual program at *Lê Hồng Phong High School* and earned the title of *Miss Ao Dai Schoolgirl* in 2015 while still in her 11th grade. Despite rumors about her wealthy background, Phương Anh worked hard to prove her academic excellence, graduating high school with the highest grades in her class. She later earned a full scholarship to study at *RMIT University*, where she graduated summa cum laude in *Information Management Systems* with a GPA of /4. She was awarded *Gold Medals* in the *French Language Olympics* in 2014 and 2015, and earned the *First Prize* for French in 2014, in addition to being fluent in both English and French with an IELTS score of 8.0 and DELF C1 in French. With such impressive credentials, she was quickly recruited by *Foreign Trade University* and *University of Danang*.
In 2020, Phương Anh entered the *Miss Vietnam* pageant. Her performance during the finals left a lasting impression, showcasing her eloquence and outstanding public speaking skills, especially in a fluent presentation about the country's cultural history in French during a challenging period. Her convincing answers during the Q&A session were considered the best of the night by both the audience and judges, earning her the *First Runner-up* position in the competition.
In 2022, Phương Anh became the youngest *VTV9 News Editor* in recent years. That same year, she was officially announced as Vietnam's representative at *Miss International*. Although she did not make it to the Top 15 in the final competition, her impressive performances garnered widespread admiration from fans. On April 8, 2023, Phương Anh's boyfriend, a businessman named Đức Hồ, proposed to her at a star-studded event in Phu Quoc. Despite a 4-year age difference, Đức Hồ, who is pursuing a PhD in the UK, was praised for his handsome appearance, and the couple was seen as a perfect match.
