1. Thanh Hoa
In early August, the ASEAN 2015 Traditional Music Festival will be held for the first time in Vietnam with the theme 'Connecting World Heritage' on the stage of Lam Son Theater, Thanh Hoa. Vietnamese and international artists will perform solo and ensemble music, traditional theater performances, and folk singing on the traditional drama stage... By now, 10 art troupes representing 10 ASEAN countries and a delegation from South Korea have registered to participate.
Furthermore, on July 12, Thanh Hoa inaugurated the FLC Sam Son project, including an 18-hole golf course, an 8,000 m2 golf club, a 5-star luxury Fusion resort with nearly 100 rooms. The area also features a 5-star hotel and nearly 600 À La Carte bungalow rooms, a 5,100 m² saltwater pool, a 1,300-seat international conference center, indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, and over 1,000 villas to satisfy every traveler.
2. Da Nang
Before the Lantern Festival on September 2nd, Da Nang will organize the 2015 Vietnamese Cuisine Festival, co-organized by the City Farmers' Association of Da Nang and the Farmers' Support Center - Vietnam Farmers' Association, held at East Sea Park. The 2015 Vietnamese Cuisine Festival aims to honor and promote the unique cultural essence of regional and Vietnamese cuisine in Da Nang to both domestic and international tourists, expanding opportunities for cultural exchange in culinary arts between regions, and introducing and honoring products and goods serving agriculture, farmers, and rural areas.
In August, when you visit Da Nang, you can experience the only waterfall slide in Vietnam at Hoa Phu Thanh tourist area with a nearly 3km slide, providing a thrilling and refreshing experience. Additionally, activities such as observing rare primates on Son Tra Peninsula or exploring Cham Island are popular choices among many travelers.
3. Nha Trang
With its beautiful beaches and a long history in tourism, Nha Trang is renowned for adventurous sea activities such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and surfing, along with irresistible local specialties. In Nha Trang this August, you can join the largest floating sea platform in Vietnam with various new and exciting games covering an area of up to 2,000 m². 4. Quang Binh
Scheduled from August 5th to 20th, 2015, the Quang Binh Cave Festival promises to be a unique cultural and tourism event, honoring the magnificence of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang natural heritage. When you visit Quang Binh during this period, you will participate in various captivating artistic programs, infused with the vibrant essence of this sunny and windy land. The special highlight of the festival is the 'Quang Binh Cave Exploration Week' with activities such as inaugurating new tourist routes, organizing promotional programs, offering discounted entrance tickets, and conducting Famtrip programs.
Especially at the Dark Cave, towering over 30 meters, a climbing route with two lanes equipped with handholds for mountain climbing competitions will be inaugurated. After the festival, rock climbing activities will be regularly organized by the Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center. Additionally, at the Dark Cave area, there is the longest dual-cable zipline in Vietnam, stretching 400m, catering to thrill-seekers.
5. An Giang
Although the flood season in the Southwest is still a month away, backpackers are flocking to An Giang to admire the lush green fields of Ta Pa, spreading across the horizon. An Giang is the first province in the Mekong Delta with two provincial cities, Long Xuyen and Chau Doc. Long Xuyen, situated along the Hau River, has the distinctive cultural traditions of a Western city with its floating market on the river and numerous historical and scenic spots.
Chau Doc, a border city, is renowned for its cluster of historical sites and attractions on Sam Mountain. Particularly, An Giang boasts numerous must-visit sites such as the Tra Su melaleuca forest, Bung Binh Thien, That Son, Tinh Bien market, Co To mountain, and more.
