



2. Trúc Lâm Bản Giốc Pagoda


Trúc Lâm Bản Giốc Pagoda stands majestically on Phia Nhằm Mountain, Đàm Thủy commune (Trùng Khánh), approximately 500m from Bản Giốc waterfall. The pagoda is built in pure Vietnamese architectural style, comprising various structures: Three-gate entrance, bell tower, drum tower, stone stele, and three jewels, ancestral house, mother temple, memorial shrine for national heroes, and the lineage of Nam Việt Triệu Tổ Hùng Vương, guest house along with auxiliary landscape features. Trúc Lâm Bản Giốc Pagoda holds significance in the development of Bản Giốc waterfall tourist area into a national key tourist destination.


3. Ngườm Ngao Cave


Ngườm Ngao Cave is a large cave formed through long-term limestone erosion. Ngườm Ngao (in the Tày ethnic language means Tiger Cave or also known as 'cave amidst the stone valley') was discovered by local people in 1921. Ngườm Ngao Cave stretches 2.144m long, with 3 main entrances: Ngườm Lồm entrance, which remains cool all year round, nestled under the rocks at the foot of the mountain; Ngườm Ngao entrance, accessed by several hundred steps from the foot of the mountain; and Bản Thuôn entrance, located behind the mountain, adjacent to the Thuôn village of the Tày people.


The cave's ceiling alternates between closing and opening, providing viewers with a pleasantly surprising experience. Stalactites grow from the bottom up, hang from the top down, some straight, some large, some small... all intertwined to form a marvelous maze.
4. Thang Hen Lake


Located within the territory of Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province at an altitude of thousands of meters above sea level, Thang Hen Lake is a beautiful lake among 36 lakes situated on our country's mountains. Nestled amidst a mountainous region and the green color of trees stretching on steep cliffs reflecting down into the clear water, winding along the murmuring streams amidst underground rock mines. Thang Hen Lake has a rhombus shape, about 300m wide, over 1,000m long, amidst white and black cajeput forests protruding on cat ear-shaped rocks. At the head of the source is a spacious cave, from inside the cave, the water flows continuously day and night.

Particularly, Thang Hen Lake's water experiences two daily tides, rising and falling. During the flood season, while other lakes turn red, Thang Hen Lake's water remains clear. During the dry season, the water is about 10m deep. Near Thang Hen Lake, there is Thang Luong Lake, amidst which rises a majestic mountain peak.
5. Pac Bo Historical Site


Pac Bo Historical Site is a national revolutionary historical site - especially significant to Vietnam, located in Pac Bo village, Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province, 55 km north of Cao Bang city. The historical site includes: Uncle Ho's Memorial House, Coc Bo Cave (the local name meaning 'the source'), Lung Lan Cave, Nguom Vai Cave, Le Nin Stream, the stone table where Uncle Ho worked, the foundation of Mr. Ly Quoc Sung's house, and Mr. La Thanh's house foundation…
