At the Hồng Danh Pink Grapefruit Orchard, visitors not only get to explore a grove of heavy-laden grapefruit trees and take stunning photos but also enjoy fresh grapefruit and a variety of candies made from citrus peels (lime, grapefruit, and orange), served with either cold or hot tea. All of this is included in the entrance fee! Please note that picking fruits or climbing trees is not allowed to preserve the beauty of the orchard. The next destination we want to introduce to you is the Bá Chuốt Pink Grapefruit Orchard, a popular spot for visitors, especially during the days leading up to the Lunar New Year. Just like the blooming Mai flowers, this orchard is full of ripe grapefruits during the season, and the first impression you’ll have upon entering is the sight of thousands of trees heavy with vibrant yellow-orange fruit. The sight is dazzling and full of life, with the fruits gleaming in the warm spring sun, making it feel like stepping into a fairy tale garden.
With an entry fee of only 50,000 VND per person, visitors to the Bá Chuốt Pink Grapefruit Orchard can enjoy freshly squeezed orange/grapefruit juice, fruits, and a chance to explore the orchard where they can freely pick papayas (priced at 10k per kg). You can also visit other sections like the mature grapefruits, passion fruit vines, and bottle gourds, all while snapping beautiful photos along the way. Don’t forget to climb the 6-meter tower for a panoramic view of the orchard, take pictures with the decorative setups, or explore the packaging process for oranges and grapefruits that are sold in supermarkets. Boat rides with a local guide, complete with a traditional conical hat, are also available.
