Leading products from LG, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic all feature 4K resolution screens and advanced technologies for superior image quality.
The Consumer Electronics Show - CES is always a vibrant stage where manufacturers showcase their best devices, with TV booths standing out. In 2016, CES brought a feast of Ultra HD images, OLED TVs , and various technologies aimed at upgrading the entertainment experience for users.
Below are the top 5 premium TVs from leading brands set to launch this year.
Samsung KS9500

To eliminate distractions from black borders around the screen, Samsung developed the KS9500, the world's first bezel-less curved TV. The product supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) with quantum dot technology, nano crystals on a 10-bit panel for true color reproduction, high brightness, and contrast.
The South Korean manufacturer has optimized brightness after a survey showed that most users watch TV in well-lit rooms. The KS9500 model has a maximum brightness of up to 1,000-nit, reproducing deep black with Ultra Black technology simulating the eyes of butterflies that can absorb natural light, minimizing glare.
Panasonic DX900

The DX900 model is claimed by Panasonic to be the world's first Premium Ultra HD TV. The product meets the strict standards of the UHD Alliance with a 10-bit color display and 1,000-nit brightness. UHDA's requirements help users classify image standards in 2016.
To meet HDR standards, the Japanese manufacturer's TV uses a backlight structure with thousands of small lights, controlled to illuminate by zones. As a result, the DX900 reproduces images with extremely high contrast. Panasonic also collaborates with THX - an image quality organization, to ensure 4K performance.
LG G6 OLED

In the OLED race, LG takes the lead and is increasingly embraced by users and tech experts. At CES 2016, the company showcased its latest product, the G6 OLED. The product impresses not only with a 4K HDR-compatible screen but also with incredible brightness and deep black colors.
The G6 OLED captivates every gaze with its glass-faced design, measuring only 2.5mm thin, thinner than many smartphones on the market. Despite this, the sound on this TV is still invested in, with a base that doubles as a soundbar, co-manufactured with Harman Kardon. If users want to wall-mount it, this soundbar can create an effect as if the speakers are placed in the front. The G6 OLED comes in two sizes, 65 and 77 inches.
Sony X930D

The X930D series is Sony's latest addition to the Ultra HD TV 'family.' The standout feature is its super-thin design, featuring an entirely new backlight system called the Master Drive. The Japanese manufacturer states that the system uses multiple backlight zones, enabling the TV to achieve brightness up to 4,000-nit and black levels equivalent to OLED TVs.
In the CES 2016 showcase, Sony TVs truly stood out from previous products, with high yet authentic brightness. The X930D series will be released this year in 55, 65, and 75-inch variants.
LG UH9800

Just a few years ago, 8K TVs were in experimental stages, but this year, LG declares the commercialization of this product line with the UH9800 model. The gigantic 98-inch screen boasts a resolution four times that of the 4K Ultra HD standard.
The U.S. will be the first market to embrace LG's new ultra-sharp TV line in 2016. However, the compatibility of 8K content and the pricing remain unanswered questions for the South Korean manufacturer.
