5. Best Time to Visit
In Dak Nong, the year is distinctly divided into two seasons: the dry season (lasting from November to April the following year) and the rainy season (occurring from May to October). If you want to marvel at the majestic nature with large waterfalls pouring down, you should choose the rainy season. But if you prefer a more convenient travel itinerary, you should visit Tà Đùng - Đắk Nông in the dry season.
Tà Đùng is located in the Central Highlands region, so the climate is quite hot throughout the year. However, Tà Đùng Lake is an ecotourism ecosystem with lush greenery, so it's relatively cool and pleasant here. Young travelers can embark on their backpacking journey all year round without worry. Tà Đùng Lake is perhaps most beautiful from September to December because during this time, Dak Nong receives more rain, making the trees on the small islands in the lake lush green. The high water level is suitable for travelers to leisurely boat around and enjoy the scenery.
