1. Dining and Food
Although Phu Quy is a small island, you'll find a wide variety of services available, from local eateries and cafes to grocery stores and fruit stalls. The prices are quite reasonable, and there's no overcharging of tourists. If you're a seafood lover, head to Long Hai Fish Market in the morning where you'll see a bustling atmosphere with fishing boats continuously docking. Fresh and affordable seafood is plentiful, and the quality is unbeatable. You can even buy seafood and have the locals cook it for you.
While exploring the island, you can enjoy a campfire, beach strolls, or even go squid and shrimp fishing. In the mornings, local villagers in Tam Thanh, Đông Hải, Long Hải, or Ngũ Phụng offer home-cooked meals. In the afternoon, relax with a cup of coffee at a local café while enjoying the cool sea breeze. The island's coffee is incredibly affordable at just 10,000 VND per cup. In the evenings, visit the night market for traditional street foods like bánh xèo, bánh canh, and bánh căn.

3. Transportation
CallRegardless of where you are in Vietnam, if you want to reach Phu Quy Island, you must first travel to Phan Thiet Port, located in the heart of Phan Thiet city.
Once in Phan Thiet, head to the ferry terminal to purchase your ticket for the 120 km journey to Phu Quy Island. Ferries typically depart between 8 AM and 11 AM daily. However, if the weather is bad or the sea is rough, the ferry schedule may change, so it’s best to check in advance and stay updated.
