1. Vast Salt Fields
Ninh Thuan is renowned as a land of sun and wind, characteristics that have given rise to the salt-making industry. Year-round salt production involves toil and sweat, with locals toiling under the sun and sky, carrying baskets of salt and pouring sweat to create each grain, enriching life with flavor.
With the white grains of salt, the deep blue of the sky, the brown of the fields, and the diligent work of the people, the salt fields of Ninh Thuan paint a picture of warmth and beauty. These salt fields not only hold economic significance but also represent the distinctive nature and people of this captivating land.

2. Katê Festival of the Chăm People
Currently, the Cham people living in Ninh Thuan represent the largest Cham population in Vietnam, accounting for nearly 50% of the total Cham population nationwide. Therefore, Cham culture in Ninh Thuan is considered a distinctive cultural feature of this region.
Here, you can easily find unique cultural aspects such as customs, traditions, and festivals of the Cham people. This is the most important festival of the Cham people following the Balamon religion, held once a year to commemorate the deities and offer sacrifices to ancestors, praying earnestly for national prosperity, favorable weather, and abundant harvests.
The opening ceremony of the festival is the procession of the attire of the goddess Ponagar (also known as the mother goddess who taught the Cham people rice cultivation and weaving) from the house of the youngest daughter of the goddess (Phuoc Ha commune, Thuận Nam district) to the Pô Nư Kành temple (Phuoc Huu commune, Ninh Phuoc district) for worship.
On the second day of the festival, the attire is taken to the Pô Klong Garai tower, and Cham dignitaries perform bathing rituals for the deities, offering sacrifices. During the festival days, Cham villages and hamlets become lively with the sounds of Saranai trumpets, Ginang drums, and the graceful fan dances of Cham girls in traditional costumes, captivating visitors attending the festival.
