A couple had a baby with a peculiar appearance, resembling a lump of flesh with eyes and a nose, but lacking limbs. They named it Coconut Skull. Coconut Skull asked to tend the cattle for a wealthy man to support their parents. The wealthy man agreed as he saw Coconut Skull was skilled in cattle-raising. He sent Coconut Skull to graze on the mountain, with meals brought by his three daughters. While two sisters bullied, the youngest, Ut, noticed Coconut Skull was not an ordinary person and developed feelings of care and affection.
At the end of the grazing season, Coconut Skull asked for Ut's hand in marriage. Having fulfilled the marriage challenge, the wealthy man asked his daughters' opinions. Ut willingly accepted. After marrying, Coconut Skull transformed into a handsome and intelligent young man, passing the imperial exams.
Before departing for official duties, the official entrusted his wife with a fiery stone, a dagger, and two eggs, instructing her to keep them close.
The two sisters conspired to push Ut into the sea, where she was swallowed by a giant fish. With the dagger, Ut killed the fish and drifted to a deserted island. Ut used the fiery stone to cook the fish and survived on it. The two eggs hatched into two chickens.
On his return journey, the official heard chickens crowing on the deserted island. He stopped by and brought his wife back home, celebrating with a feast. Upon the feast's conclusion, the two sisters, ashamed of their actions, disappeared.
