The academy has become a reputable music training center in the region, capable of international integration. The academy has been authorized to offer postgraduate programs in collaboration with Australia and is the only music institution in the country to offer a doctoral degree in music. 2. Central Academy of Arts Education
CallCentral University of Fine Arts Education (CUFAE) is located on Tran Phu Street, Ha Dong District, Hanoi. With a 50-year history of development and maturity, it is one of the prestigious and longstanding training institutions recognized by the state and society.
For the field of vocal music, the university only offers a 4-year undergraduate program. The age for applicants is over 18 years old. The entrance exam consists of 2 songs, including 1 foreign opera and 1 Vietnamese song. Additional subjects include music theory, vocal intonation, and high school literature scores.
In recent years, to meet the educational needs of society and aesthetic education, the number of students registering to study at the university has significantly increased, while reducing the pressure of university entrance exams and maintaining high quality and effectiveness. 3. Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music
CallHo Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, formerly known as Saigon National Music School, was founded in 1956. The school offers two majors: Vietnamese music and Western music, with nearly 20 different music majors. In 1960, the school was renamed Saigon National Music and Drama School; in 1975, it became Ho Chi Minh City National Conservatory of Music, and from 1981 to the present, it has been Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
With an organizational structure consisting of 7 faculties, 4 functional departments, and 4 affiliated organizations, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music trains and nurtures music professionals with high school, college, university, and postgraduate degrees in various forms: regular, work-study, specialized, distance learning; teacher training in music education; training according to the socialization model. The school carries out activities such as composition, performance, international exchange, music research; surveying, researching, and writing scientific works. Singer My Tam graduated here with top honors. Also, Son Tung M-TP, Bui Anh Tuan are noteworthy students of the conservatory, having topped the entrance exam in the vocal music major.
Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music has been awarded the First, Second, Third Class Labor Medals by the State; Second, Third Class Independence Medals; many generations of teachers have been awarded titles such as People's Teacher, Excellent Teacher, People's Artist, Excellent Artist; many Professors of the Conservatory have been invited as judges for international music competitions worldwide; many teachers, students, and students have won high prizes at home and abroad, thereby establishing the reputation of quality art education in music nationwide as well as in the region and the world. 4. Hanoi College of Art
CallEstablished in 1967, formerly known as Hanoi Cultural and Art High School. Over 50 years of development, this school has well met the learning and training needs of many generations of young people. To this day, Hanoi College of Art remains an attractive destination as more and more young people aspire to study and develop themselves in this environment.
Hanoi College of Art is a public institution, offering 2 programs including college and intermediate with various majors for candidates to choose from. For the vocal music major, there is a 3-year intermediate program limited to ages 16 to 20, a 3-year college program for candidates above 18, and a 7-year primary program for those aged 11 and above who have completed primary school.
Entrance exam regulations for the vocal music major: candidates perform 1 folk song; light music, 1 foreign song, and a rhythmic musical talent test. In addition, the college program includes a pronunciation and sound recognition exam and scoring the national high school graduation literature exam. This was once the alma mater of singers Hoang Hai and Duong Hoang Yen, who are now also lecturers at the school.

5. Hue Academy of Music
CallHue Academy of Music was established on November 8, 2007, with its main headquarters located in the Imperial City of Hue. It is one of the three major universities specializing in music education in Vietnam.
The academy offers training in various fields, including Music Composition, Music Conducting, Music Performance, and Hue Royal Court Music. Its primary mission is to research and educate music in the Central Highlands region, while also contributing to the preservation and promotion of the values of Hue Royal Court Music and Tay Nguyen Gong Music, two art forms recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage and oral traditions of humanity.
The academy offers two programs in vocal music for students to choose from: a Secondary Program for graduates of secondary school and a University Program that combines talent exams, majors, and entrance exams for high school literature.

CallDanang University of Culture and Arts traces its origins back to the Quang Nam - Da Nang State Cultural - Information School, established in 1977.
