Explore some of the most enticing destinations in the world that also happen to be the most budget-friendly.
1. Cambodia

Bring plenty of $1 and $2 bills because everything here is inexpensive, priced at $1-$2, including tuk-tuk rides, meals, drinks, massages, and souvenirs. A night in a guesthouse costs around $15 but can accommodate 3-4 people. If you're in the South, it's even more budget-friendly; just take a bus for an 8-hour ride to Siem Reap, home to the famous Angkor archaeological site.
2. Nepal

According to Lonely Planet, the budget for a day in Nepal is only about $5-$7 if you stay in hostels and eat local food. Even if you join a trekking tour through Nepal's beautiful areas or head to the Everest Base Camp, the cost for a day is approximately $8-$10 (including all expenses like guides, baggage transport, food, accommodation, transportation, etc.). However, the most significant expense when traveling to Nepal from Vietnam is the flight ticket (around $600).
3. Thailand

Thailand is currently striving to recover tourism after the 2011 storm and political unrest. Consequently, the Land of the Golden Temples is inviting tourists back with numerous promotions and discounts.
On average, the cost for a day in Thailand is $40, slightly higher than some other countries. However, Thailand boasts many cities to visit, affordable and delicious street food, along with numerous accommodation options. Therefore, $40 is still a reasonable price.
In Phuket, room prices can be as low as $10 per night. With $100, you can stay in one of the luxurious hotels that might cost thousands in other countries. In Southern Thailand, like Chiang Mai, the costs are even lower.
4. Colombia

With accommodation prices starting at around $10 and a plethora of attractions and cultural diversity, Colombia is a fantastic exploration destination. In major cities like Bogota and Cartagena, you can easily survive on a low budget (if you know how to avoid tourist traps). But do learn some Spanish as the locals here rarely speak English.
5. Prague, Czech Republic

Europe is undoubtedly an expensive destination, but if you're looking for a place that's not too costly and still allows you to visit ancient structures, castles, and historic churches, then Prague – the capital of the Czech Republic is the best choice. Hostel prices are around $10-$15 per night, and the beer here is cheaper than water. Prague offers many free activities, and just walking around, you'll see how beautiful Prague is.
6. Bolivia
Similar to the places mentioned above, the cost of food in Bolivia is relatively low, especially considering the delicious yet affordable cuisine. But the most fantastic thing about Bolivia is its wild natural beauty, from Lake Titicaca to the Salar de Uyuni salt flats. Additionally, Bolivia has many ancient and historical cities like La Paz. The entrance fee to La Paz city museums is 58 cents (equivalent to 14,000 VND).

In this list, you can replace Cambodia with Myanmar – the epitome of Southeast Asia 20 years ago. This will be the time when traveling to Myanmar is the cheapest. An average meal costs around $1.5 – $2. Room prices are around $15 – $20/night for 2 people. Bus tickets between destinations range from $8 – $12.
