1. Descriptive Essay on Da Nang's Beach - Essay 4
At the end of the last school year, with permission from the school's administration and the parent committee, our whole class was able to take a trip to Da Nang's beach.
Though I was born and raised in Da Nang and the beach is nothing new to me, each time I visit, I feel a new wave of emotions. For instance, visiting with my parents feels different from visiting with friends.
The beach remains as I remember it—vast and seemingly endless, with waves crashing in the distance. Occasionally, a wave will gently roll onto the shore, playing a natural symphony of the ocean. The golden sandy beach stretches far, smooth enough for us to run and play without fear of injury. At regular intervals, you'll find a palm tree, the iconic tree often seen on any beach. The beach is always bustling with people: tourists enjoying their vacations, locals strolling by, and street vendors selling their goods along the shore.
Though the beach is beautiful, it can be dangerous due to the waves and the depth of the water, so our teacher didn’t allow us to swim. Instead, we stayed on the shore, enjoying a small picnic with snacks. The teachers and parent volunteers also organized games like races and quizzes for us to enjoy. While we were a bit disappointed we couldn’t swim, we were all happy for the fun memories shared with friends.
Perhaps it's because of these beautiful memories that I feel even more love for Da Nang's beach, my hometown's treasure.

For a long time, whenever people mention Da Nang, they always associate it with the nickname 'The City of Beaches.' Da Nang is blessed with natural beauty, offering countless stunning landscapes, with its pristine and captivating beaches that resemble a painting carefully crafted by an artist. I am particularly fond of Da Nang's beaches, especially My Khe Beach, which is incredibly beautiful.
Among all the beaches in Da Nang, My Khe Beach is known as the most beautiful beach in Vietnam and is also one of the most alluring and serene spots. Unlike other beaches, the waves at Da Nang's beaches are small and gentle, unlike the crashing waves found at other beaches. The water here is calm, like a soothing embrace, rather than fierce. The sea itself is a vivid blue, as if someone accidentally spilled a bottle of blue ink into it. Thanks to the awareness of the locals, the waters here are clean and free of pollution, with a safe salinity of 60%.
Da Nang's beaches also offer plenty of spots for swimming, particularly around the Son Tra Peninsula. These beaches are rich in coral reefs and boast a vibrant and diverse ecosystem. The beaches here have a steep incline, which adds to the beauty. From above, My Khe Beach seems to 'capture' the hearts of visitors with its clear, endless blue stretching to the horizon.
On Da Nang's beaches, you’ll find long stretches of soft, velvet-like white sand. There’s nothing more wonderful than walking along the sand, with the calm waves rolling in the distance. Not only that, the clear, warm waters remain pleasant year-round, with towering palm trees resembling giant combs, brushing the sky. Standing and gazing at the long coastline, the clear waters, and the gentle waves, Da Nang’s beaches are perfect for extended trips or family vacations.
People often say that the beach is at its most beautiful and peaceful at dawn, during the sunrise. I had the chance to visit this beach early in the morning and witness the sunrise. It felt so humble and heartwarming. As the sun rose, the beach transformed into a beautiful painting, with the light sparkling over the ocean. The morning scene seemed like a giant mirror, reflecting the everyday life of the local fishermen.
Along with the beauty of the sunrise, when the sun sets and the beach is bathed in the glow of dusk, My Khe Beach takes on a new, more peaceful appearance. The beach now seems quieter, creating a tranquil and romantic atmosphere for anyone who visits. Visitors to Da Nang’s beach are sure to return, unable to forget the charm and beauty of this place.
I love Da Nang’s beach so much, and I dream of one day visiting it with my family, so I can enjoy this truly picturesque and poetic landscape.

Many provinces in Vietnam have coastlines, and each beach has its own unique charm. For me, although I haven’t visited all the beaches in the country, Da Nang’s beach is the one I love the most.
Last summer, when my parents weren’t too busy with work and I was on my holiday break, our family decided to take a trip to Da Nang for a beach vacation. From the balcony of our hotel, I could see a beautiful view of the coastline both along the shore and stretching far into the distance. The sight was so breathtaking that I couldn’t take my eyes off it until my mom called me down to the beach to play.
From the beach, the sea seemed to stretch endlessly, with no clear horizon. Even when the sun was shining brightly, the ocean appeared misty in the distance. Far out, I could see fishing boats and other vessels, including leisure boats and jet skis, cruising along the water. What I loved most about the beach here was the clear, refreshing water, which made the summer heat feel much more bearable. Even though I couldn’t swim, I joined my parents in the water to splash around and cool off. To stay safe, my mom rented a cute duck-shaped float for me, so I could enjoy the water without any worries.
When our vacation ended, I had to say goodbye to Da Nang and its beautiful beach. Even though we were heading home, I couldn’t stop thinking about the amazing trip and the wonderful beach in Da Nang.

My Khe Beach is a famous landmark in my hometown. It has attracted many tourists who come to enjoy its beauty and relax by the sea.
From my house to My Khe Beach, it's a few kilometers away. The road leading to the beach winds like a ribbon. In the morning, just as the sun rises from the east, the sea is a deep, infinite blue. As the sun slowly rises above the horizon, it looks like a giant red ball floating on the water. The sunlight reflects off the sea, making the water sparkle and shine. The beach is bustling with activity as groups of people exercise, and children run around joyfully on the sand. Out at sea, fishing boats cut through the waves, while flocks of seabirds dance above the water, as if playing with the waves. The white waves rise and crash forcefully against the shore. In the afternoon, the sea takes on a greenish hue. The waves continue to crash, and the beach is filled with people swimming and enjoying the water. Children fly kites along the shore, and small sandcastles are built. Crabs scuttle across the sand, as if joining in the fun. As night falls, the sea turns into a vast, soft velvet carpet, and the lights of distant fishing boats twinkle in the distance, creating a magical atmosphere. The breeze blows gently, adding to the peaceful and enchanting feeling.
I truly love My Khe Beach. My friends and I always remind each other to keep the beach clean and beautiful.

My hometown is full of beautiful landscapes, such as Mount An, the Tra River, Ong Pagoda, Phê Bút Thiên Vân, and La Hà Thạch Trận. However, the most beautiful of all, in my eyes, is My Khe Beach.
The beach is long and wide, with soft, fine sand. The rows of pine trees along the shore create a soothing, rustling melody. In the morning, the sea is crystal clear, with gentle waves lapping at the shore. As the sun rises, the beach becomes even more radiant, bathed in golden sunlight. Out at sea, fishing boats follow each other in a line, gently rocking on the waves like horses galloping through the water. Seagulls fly gracefully above, playing with the breeze. In the afternoon, the sunlight stretches across the sea, making the water shimmer like gold. The sea remains clear, and the waves continue to rhythmically crash against the shore. People are enjoying themselves, swimming in the sea and playing along the shore. The wind is refreshing, and the whole atmosphere feels peaceful and calm. As the sun sets, the sky and sea turn into a deep blue. The waves rise and fall, crashing onto the beach. Crabs scuttle across the sand. At night, the sky is filled with stars, and the sea turns a mysterious purple. The lights of the fishing boats twinkle from afar, like stars in the sky. The scene is peaceful and poetic. I truly love the beach in my hometown, and I hope it will always be a famous and beloved destination for tourists.
