1. Opening Speech for Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival #1
Respected delegates,
Esteemed teachers, and beloved students!
Today, in harmony with the lively and enthusiastic atmosphere of children nationwide celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, the school's board of directors, in collaboration with... organizes a festive Mid-Autumn celebration in the year 20xx for the children. Attending the Mid-Autumn Festival today, on behalf of the school's board of directors and the local government, I extend my sincere wishes to the delegates and all the children, hoping that you always stay healthy, cheerful, happy, and enjoy a meaningful Mid-Autumn night.
Respected delegates, esteemed guests, dear teachers, and all beloved students!
The Mid-Autumn Festival has arrived, and the rich aroma of traditional cakes permeates the air. The star-shaped lanterns twinkle, creating a dazzling sparkle in the innocent eyes of the children. Indeed, in the eyes of the children, the Mid-Autumn Festival is pure and refreshing. The children, holding star lanterns in their hands, run from one end of the neighborhood to the other with their friends. The drums echo continuously, although the rhythm may not be perfect, the children laugh heartily, applauding enthusiastically at the sound of the drum.
Beloved students of XX Primary School!
Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with joy but do not forget your academic responsibilities. In a letter to students nationwide on the opening day of the first school year of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945, Uncle Ho wrote, 'Whether Vietnam becomes prosperous, whether the Vietnamese people stand shoulder to shoulder with the powers on all continents, depends to a large extent on your academic efforts.' Therefore, you must strive, study hard, and not disappoint the expectations of your teachers, parents, to become good children of Uncle Ho.
My dear students, despite our best efforts, this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, we are certain that we have not organized a fully decorated Mid-Autumn for you. Nevertheless, this is all the love and care from teachers, parents, local authorities, organizations, and philanthropists that we have received. We hope that you will have a joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn night.
I also hope that the school will continue to receive even more love from local leaders, departments, and the community, providing us with the best conditions for educating students. We promise to make every effort to collaborate with you, local authorities, and parents each year to organize even better Mid-Autumn celebrations for the children under this beloved school roof.
I hereby declare the opening of the festival: Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival of XX Primary School. Once again, I sincerely thank and wish the delegates and esteemed guests good health, happiness, and success.
Best wishes to all parents for accompanying the school in educating the students.
Wishing the teachers a new school year with renewed energy and determination.
Wishing the students a new school year filled with joy, health, diligence, and even greater achievements than the previous year.
I wish everyone and every family a healthy, happy, peaceful, and prosperous Mid-Autumn Festival!
Thank you once again!

2. Opening Speech for Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival #3
Respected delegates!
Respected teachers, supervisors, and parents of students!
Dear young pioneers and beloved children!
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival for Vietnamese adolescents and children. Every year, on the 15th of the lunar August, children nationwide come together to play and sing under the full moon of autumn. They receive toys as gifts from grandparents, parents, older siblings, and collectively, the adults. There's an abundance of indulging in baked cakes, sticky rice cakes, and fruits like bananas, pomelos, and oranges...
Respected delegates!
Respected teachers, supervisors, and parents of students!
Dear young pioneers and beloved children!
This Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with various movements such as the 'Repay the Gratitude, Fulfill the Duty' movement and the 'Day for the Poor.' The academic year 20XX – 20XX marks a new theme and mission: comprehensive innovation in Vietnamese education towards standardization, modernization, socialization, democratization, and international integration. There's a robust push for the application of information technology in teaching and management. Elementary School XX hopes for increased attention and close collaboration between families, schools, and society to care for the education of young pioneers and children, overcoming all difficulties to excellently fulfill the academic year's mission.
In the lively atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival for young pioneers and children nationwide, and specifically for those at Elementary School XX, we, the teachers, cannot help but feel emotional and promise to put in our best effort. Together, we vow to unite with all levels of government, parents, and guardians to organize a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival for the students with enthusiasm and happiness. We request the organizing committee, judges to work seriously and fairly, ensuring the success of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 20XX as a fruitful playground for students. On behalf of the organizing committee, I officially declare the opening of the Mid-Autumn Night Festival in 20XX.
Thank you very much!

3. Opening Speech for the Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival #2
Respected delegates!
Dear parents, supervisors, and responsible siblings!
Together with all beloved children!
In the cheerful and exciting atmosphere of children nationwide welcoming the Mid-Autumn Festival, allow me to wish all the delegates, esteemed guests, teachers, and especially our dear students always good health, happiness, and a Mid-Autumn night with the theme 'Mid-Autumn Festival remembers Uncle Ho' that is joyful and meaningful.
Respected delegates, honored guests!
All dear students!
When the summer rains have gradually ceased, and the sounds of cicadas are no longer echoing in the leafy arches. It is also a sign that another Mid-Autumn Festival is coming to the children. All of them feel happy, excited, and full of joy because they get to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together and enjoy the sweet taste of traditional homeland cakes. Like a rendezvous, on the 15th of August every year, the Mid-Autumn Festival for children, all levels of government, and responsible parents have cooperated to organize a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival for them.
Beloved students!
The August Full Moon is a sweet Mid-Autumn Festival. It is the ripe, fragrant taste of various fruits. From oranges, bananas, apples, and pears to salty lychees... The sweet taste is extracted from the sunshine and wind of the homeland, crystallizing and settling to the fullest in the gentle breath of late autumn. That is the sweet, chewy, fragrant taste of various homeland autumn cakes. From sticky rice cakes, baked cakes, to com cakes, sesame seed cakes, coconut candies, chocolates, and milk... It is the sweet taste of homeland produce through the labor of countless people to become the sweet and happy pleasure of the fairy age.
The August Full Moon is also the time for us to welcome another joyful, peaceful Mid-Autumn Festival with the joy and happiness of childhood. There is the joy of the Mid-Autumn Night Festival, where dragons and snakes parade with various types of lanterns, such as star lanterns, carp lanterns, and more, all sparkling and colorful.
Moreover, the August Full Moon, Mid-Autumn Festival, also reminds us of the country's first Independence Mid-Autumn Festival, remembering Uncle Ho with the verses:
''Mid-Autumn Festival, bright as a mirror,
Uncle Ho admires the scenery, remembering and loving the children
Here, Uncle writes a few lines,
Sending love to the children to express longing.''
Although Uncle Ho has gone far away, his boundless love remains forever with the country's rivers and mountains, with layer after layer of grandchildren, Young Pioneer Team members, and children – the future owners of the country. Therefore, the August Full Moon, Mid-Autumn Festival also has the theme of 'Mid-Autumn Festival remembers Uncle Ho.'
On behalf of the organizing committee, I officially declare the opening of the Mid-Autumn Night Festival in 20XX. I wish all of you, Young Pioneer Team members, beloved students, a Mid-Autumn Festival full of joy, happiness in the loving embrace and care of parents, teachers, and the whole society. Sincerely thank you for your presence, encouragement, and shared joy, dear delegates!
