Top 7 Affordable Yet Effective Beauty Products Then and Now

Hello ladies, lately I've noticed that many pages are promoting expensive skincare products! In my opinion, pricey doesn't always mean better. There are some affordable beauty products that work wonders!

1. Acne Treatment Products:

One of them is Thorakao turmeric cream, priced at just a few bucks per box! For those who suffer from acne, wait until they ripen, then use clean hands to squeeze out all the pus. Afterward, clean the affected area and apply this turmeric cream immediately. Thorakao turmeric cream doesn't stick tightly to the face like fresh turmeric, making it easy to wipe off without worrying about yellowing the skin. After squeezing out the acne, simply apply this cream overnight and the next day, the acne will be completely flattened. Apply for another 2-3 days and it will be gone completely, leaving no scars behind.

2. Exfoliating Skincare Product:

St.Ives Scrub: Using this product leaves the skin feeling squeaky clean. Although the granules are a bit large, gentle rubbing is fine. This one costs just a few tens of thousands and I've been using it for almost half a year. As for those big bottles my sister bought from the US, they'll probably last a lifetime. What I love most is its very pleasant scent!

I give one vote for Erylik, but this one is best for those with oily skin because it tends to dry out the skin. Its quality is comparable to Acnes C10 or C15, but its price is around 250k VND.

5. Facial Cleansing Product:

E100 brand face wash (with a picture of a cow) in SRM tube. This is from Viet Huong Cosmetic company, less than 10k VND for 100 grams, incredibly cheap yet after using it, my face feels clean, smooth, and dry, with a very gentle sensation and a pleasant smell.

6. Scar Prevention + Skin Soothing Product:

Yoosun aloe vera cream helps prevent pus acne, whiteheads, avoids scarring, and provides a very cooling sensation to the skin. I'm not sure about the first claim, but the latter two are spot on. I tend to scratch my acne, but after applying this, sitting in front of the fan feels heavenly. The price is relatively cheap too, 15k for 20g. I've heard many friends say that with persistent use, there's no need to fear scars or pores on the face.

7. Lip Smoothing and Pinkening Product:

For this, I vote for pink Vaseline. I used to have chapped lips, so severe that they bled. It looked terrifying! After using this for a while, my lips stopped chapping. Here's how to use it: about 2 hours before bed, apply a thick layer on the lips, especially the inner lips. In the morning, after brushing your teeth, washing your face, applying this nourishing cream and that, finish off by applying 'this one'.
