1. Design: the era of metal and glass
iPhone 8 and Samsung Note 8, both of these warriors are large-screen smartphones, yet the display space on the Note 8 is deemed more enticing as it features an infinity screen. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 Plus still maintains its thick bezel style. Metal and glass are the design styles applied by Apple and Samsung on their products, but it seems like the Note 8 looks more attractive and recognizable with its edge-to-edge screen and 3D curved glass on the back.

2. Distinguishing the Portrayal of Elegance
Both these warriors exhibit a sense of sophistication and contemporary design. For the Note 8, its glossy glass back, when light reflects on it, enhances its elegance like never before. Compared to its predecessors, the edges of the Note 8 are now slightly curved, implying a larger slope, alongside less curvature at the corners, bringing about two advantages:
- Firstly, the screen appears more beautiful as the edges are not as sharply cut as before, giving the feeling of a true flat surface with only subtle curvature at the edges.
- Secondly, this design makes it easier for users to hold and manage on the larger 6-inch screen. The experience is significantly superior to previous Galaxy models.

3. Screen: LCD vs AMOLED
It can be said that iPhone 8 and Galaxy Note 8 are currently the two devices with the most beautiful screens, featuring vibrant colors and incredibly impressive brightness.
- For iPhone 8, the front still features a 4.7-inch LCD display. On the other hand, the Samsung Note 8 will have a 6.3-inch screen, with an aspect ratio of 18:9, and of course, it will still be a Super AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution, providing users with a large screen experience rather than just a large-sized device.
- The Galaxy S8 Plus comes with many useful technologies, notably the Infinity Display inherited from the Galaxy S8, and the S Pen stylus - allowing users to comfortably experience the product as if on a real personal notepad. Meanwhile, the iPhone 8 retains the HD display but is upgraded by Apple and referred to as Retina HD True Tone with improved color accuracy.
