This newly recognized beach has been officially designated by the provincial government as a tourist-standard beach. It is often called the 'paradise beach' by the beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay. The beach is incredibly serene, with soft, white sand stretching along the bay. Surrounded by mountains and trees, the natural beauty of the area offers visitors a peaceful retreat. After a busy day, you can relax and refresh in the cool, clear waters. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature's tranquility.

2. Rieu Island (Monkey Island)
Rieu Island, also known as Monkey Island, is located in Bai Tu Long Bay, about 3km from Vung Duc Port in Cam Pha City. The island is known as a kingdom for monkeys, home to many rare species of golden monkeys. The Ministry of Health has even established a monkey breeding facility here for scientific research and vaccine development. A small island just 600 meters from Bai Chay, Rieu Island is often compared to a 'mini Dubai' with its striking features. The island boasts stunning natural scenery, diverse wildlife, and the star attractions—monkeys.
Visiting Rieu Island, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the sea. The fresh morning breeze or the salty scent of the ocean at dusk will leave lasting memories. The island remains largely untouched, with a pristine environment, clear air, and minimal human interference. 3. Quang Hanh Hot Springs
Quang Hanh Hot Springs, located right in Cam Pha City, has long been a relaxing retreat for both locals and tourists alike.
Considered one of nature's gifts to Cam Pha, this hot spring is formed by the natural flow of underground hot water, unlike other springs that are artificially created. As a result, it is rich in minerals beneficial for health. The water has a high salinity and a temperature range of 60°C to 70°C, providing a soothing experience that promotes relaxation and overall well-being.
Additionally, the site offers physical therapy massage services for those suffering from aches, fatigue, and stress. There are also various recreational and dining options available for visitors.
Getting there is quite easy. You can take a taxi from Ha Long to Quang Hanh for about 100,000 VND, or if you're prone to motion sickness, you can opt for a motorbike taxi, which costs around 50,000 to 70,000 VND.


4. Dia Chat Hot Springs
Dia Chat Hot Springs was originally built to serve and care for the health of coal workers. However, due to its high service quality and effectiveness, it soon expanded its clientele, attracting both domestic and international tourists, becoming a popular destination in Cam Pha City. The Dia Chat Hot Springs Center spans hectares, with the therapeutic area occupying over 1 hectare. The center opened in early 2000 and offers a beautiful landscape, with a lake in front and a mountain range behind. The hot spring, rich in beneficial minerals, is particularly useful for health care and rejuvenation.
Unlike Quang Hanh Hot Springs, the water here is sourced from a deep well (well number 28) at a depth of 214 meters, with temperatures reaching 55°C. The water is rich in minerals, offering various health benefits. The facilities and services are quite professional, and visitors can choose between private baths or outdoor mineral pools. Services offered include soaking in the mineral pools, combined hot spring baths with massage, and acupressure. The center's staff are highly trained and skilled in their services.


5. Cua Ong Temple
Cua Ong Temple is recognized as a National Historic Site of special importance in Cam Pha City and Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province. Located in the northeast of Cam Pha, the temple sits on a small hill at the edge of Bai Tu Long Bay, offering a stunning blend of mountains, forests, and the sea. This is a renowned cultural and spiritual tourist destination with over 700 years of history, attracting many visitors from both within the country and abroad each year.
The temple is situated on a hill about 100 meters high, with a 'mountain facing the sea' design, offering spectacular views of Bai Tu Long Bay, which is a scenic area naturally blessed by the environment. The temple is located in a narrow valley that runs along National Road 18, nestled between two high mountain ranges. Historically, the road passing through Cua Ong was the main route to the northeastern border region. Cua Ong was a vital gateway connecting the eastern part of Quang Ninh to the rich mining areas and the vast western provinces. The temple honors Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang, a famous figure from the Tran Dynasty who played a key role in the two wars against the Mongol invaders. The temple complex includes the Upper Temple, Middle Temple, Lower Temple, and the majestic statue of Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang, standing tall on the hill, gazing out toward the East Sea.
The Cua Ong Festival officially takes place on the 3rd and 4th of February (Lunar Calendar) every year, but visitors flock to the temple starting from New Year's Eve until the end of the second month of the Lunar Calendar. This is the peak tourist season of the year. The festival includes special activities such as rituals, grand processions, and a variety of cultural performances, sports events, and folk games, making the festival a lively and vibrant event.
There are various transportation options available to visit Cua Ong Temple, including walking if you are taking a bus or taxi, or using a motorbike or electric vehicle to explore the historical site. A visit to Cua Ong Temple will provide you with unique, meaningful experiences and a deeper understanding of the area’s rich history.


6. Bai Tu Long Bay
Bai Tu Long Bay is a natural wonder that should not be missed by any lover of island and beach tourism. Located in the northeastern region of Vietnam, it is part of the Gulf of Tonkin. Bai Tu Long Bay encompasses waters of Ha Long City, Cam Pha City, and Van Don District, and is home to numerous large and small islands, some of which are inhabited.
The natural scenery of Bai Tu Long Bay is a magnificent gift from nature, making it an invaluable asset to Cam Pha. According to legend, the mother dragon descended to Ha Long Bay and the baby dragons landed in Bai Tu Long Bay after defeating foreign invaders, creating the islands over thousands of years. Bai Tu Long Bay is also a place of historical significance, honoring the heroic exploits of General Tran Khanh Du and the three Pham brothers who defeated the Mongol army in 1288. 7. Vung Duc Tourism Area
The historical site and scenic area of Vung Duc is a relatively new tourist attraction that has been gaining popularity. Located right in the heart of Cam Pha City, it is easily accessible. Situated at the foot of Ban Co Mountain, by the picturesque Bai Tu Long Bay, Vung Duc is known as one of the must-see destinations in Cam Pha. Covering an area of about 10,000 square meters, this tourism complex includes a temple, monument, and caves nestled in Ban Co Mountain by the bay. The site also honors the memory of the patriotic miners who were executed by the French colonists and drowned in the Vung Duc waters in 1948-1949.
Visitors to Vung Duc can enjoy hiking (or take a cable car) up to explore five impressive and majestic caves: Thien Dang, Long Van, Ngo Ngang, Kim Quy, and Bat Cave. The Bat Cave is particularly unique, home to numerous bat species. The sound of these bats chirping creates a natural symphony, adding to the magical atmosphere. As you wander through the caves, you can admire natural stalactites and rock formations that resemble shapes such as swans, bells, and lotus flowers—each more stunning than the last.
