1. Mường Thanh Valley - Điện Biên
Mường Thanh Valley, also known as Điện Biên Valley, covers an area of about 150,000 hectares. This valley is surrounded by hills and two mountain ranges: Pú Hồng Mèo and Pú Hồng Thái. It is famous for its delicious rice grown in the valley's fields, which have created a beautiful rural feature. The fields here are vast, lush, and surrounded by majestic hills, yet they are also romantic. The water here is mainly taken from the Nậm Rốm River, which has nourished the people and creatures here.
The valley has the harmonious coexistence of ethnic groups such as the Mường, Thái, Lự, and a few other minority groups. Since settling and forming a settlement in the valley, people have always strived to overcome the devastation of war to restore this place to what it is today. This valley is also characterized by the fragrant wood lathes along the Nậm Rốm River, creating a majestic and vast scene.
Especially, visiting Mường Thanh during the rice season, you will see a new vitality, especially in September when it is beautiful like a prominent painting with the shiny yellow color of ripe rice in the season. If you look at the whole scene from above, you will surely be extremely surprised and fascinated by that beautiful scene that you want to capture every moment through photos, paintings. Furthermore, many historical relics from wars are still preserved in the valley, all of which are historical landmarks. 2. Mai Châu Valley - Hòa Bình
Mai Châu Valley is located in Hoa Binh City, just 130 km from the city center, offering a picturesque, simple, and far-from-the-madding-crowd retreat. Nature has bestowed upon this place many gifts, from the natural surroundings to the people and climate, all harmoniously blending in a valley that mesmerizes every traveler's heart. Mai Châu Valley emerges in the early morning with a scenery of surrounding mountains and terraced rice fields in lush green or golden hues during the ripening season, very simple, and pristine, making visitors feel like they have shed all the burdens of daily life.
Contributing to the beauty here are the gentle streams winding around the valley, along with the distinctive stilt houses of the Thai people appearing blurred in the morning mist. In the valley, the Thai people live together in one place, living together and preserving and promoting their ethnic identity, creating a community-based tourism destination known as Ban Lac, Ban Pom Coong, etc. The valley also preserves ancient relics, stunning landscapes, and you can explore them by simple means such as horseback, bicycle, or on foot through the terraced fields. Tourism services in the valley are also well developed, with stilt houses serving overnight guests, traditional dishes, and festivals being organized in accordance with the traditions.


3. Mường Hoa Valley - Lào Cai
Mường Hoa Valley is one of the most attractive valleys that attracts many tourists from both domestic and international destinations. The valley is a beautiful paradise with terraced fields, winding mountain passes creating a charming scenery. There are many ethnic groups living here, embodying many rustic beauties, the beauty of nature that captivates many people. As a famous tourist destination in Lao Cai, Mường Hoa Valley is also known for its mysterious ancient rock field nestled among the terraced fields. The rocks here have strange shapes, and the drawings have created a unique feature for this place.
Vietnam is famous for its beautiful terraced fields, and when it comes to terraced fields, you cannot forget the beauty of Mường Hoa Valley, where terraced fields wind through the hills in graceful shapes. The fields here mainly grow rice, and you can admire the lush green terraced fields or the brilliant yellow terraced fields all over the hillsides when the rice is ripe. It's even more beautiful to see the people here harvesting rice, and the water meandering around the terraced fields from the Hoa Stream makes this place look like a picturesque landscape painting.


4. Bac Son Valley
Bac Son Valley is located in the northwest of Lang Son province, this place is known as one of the most beautiful valleys in Vietnam. The scenery here is beautiful like a painting with lush rice fields. The rice fields here, although not famous terraced fields, harmonize with the river flowing through. Especially during the ripe rice season, the fields are like a large piece of silk gracefully radiating magical light into the air. And what is special about the rice fields here is that they are planted alternately between ripe and green rice, sometimes we only see the rare sight of simultaneous ripe rice. Surrounding the valley are mountain ranges with green of tall forest trees, along with the mist creating a more romantic scene than ever.
Standing at an altitude of about 600 m on Nà Lay mountain peak, you can admire the entire valley, and surely that sight will be preserved forever. The people living here are extremely friendly, welcoming tourists warmly, they live concentrated at the foot of the hill creating a community with many preserved cultural features.


5. Valley of Love - Da Lat
Visiting Da Lat, we immerse ourselves in romantic landscapes. This land is famous for its mist, flowers, and pine trees. Among its scenic spots is the stunning Valley of Love. The Valley of Love is only about 6 km from the center of Da Lat city, yet it possesses its own unique beauty, a blend of modernity and romance. The valley is not only blessed with many beautiful natural scenes but also creatively transformed in some areas to create a perfect overall picture that is hard to describe. Here, numerous small streams flow down from high mountains, creating natural clear lakes that meander through rows of green pine trees. The most famous is the Da Thien Lake in the valley, which is as peaceful as a painting.
Looking down at the valley from above, we can see the blurry images through the mist, appearing and disappearing like in a fairy tale. When visiting the valley, you can wander along the small roads connecting various spots, the red dirt roads winding as if to embrace everything. The flower gates created by the locals are vibrant, burning brightly in the peacefulness. You can also cross small bridges to explore the pine hills and flower hills. All the beauty, all the allure, and all the sweetness are fully expressed here.


6. A Sao Valley
A Sao Valley or A Sau Valley is located west of Hue City, 4km from the Vietnam - Laos border as the crow flies, in the southeast of A Luoi district, at the source of Rao Lao River. A Sao Valley witnessed many fierce battles between the liberation army and the US - Saigon army. Especially the battle on March 9 and 10, 1966, as well as the failure of the US - Saigon in the Lam Son campaign in 1970 took place here.
The valley is one of the places witnessing the fierce wars of our nation. Therefore, when you come here, you will review the history through the remaining relics preserved by the people here.
Moreover, this place is also partially compensated by nature for that pain with simple beauty, bearing the soul of the ethnic mountainous region. This valley has the beauty of nature, untouched by human hands, it still retains what nature has bestowed. Coming here, you will escape the hustle and bustle of city life and breathe in the fresh, airy atmosphere.


7. Mu Nau Valley - Son La
Mu Nau plum valley is one of the most beautiful pristine valleys in Vietnam. Located on the highest mountain peak of Moc Chau with a cool climate, the valley is covered with white clouds on the mountainsides all year round. Mu Nau plum forest covers an area of over 200 hectares, including primary forests and orchards of peaches and plums, perennial. The road here is quite steep and becomes a unique long-distance trekking route favored by backpackers. Located on the highest peak of Moc Chau, with a cool climate all year round, white clouds covering the hillsides, this Vietnamese valley is likened to the roof of Moc Chau. From a distance, Mu Nau Valley looks beautiful like an oil painting with the image of stilt houses nestled against the mountainside, hidden under a canopy of trees, a wilderness scene to the point of only hearing the sound of the wind, the sound of birds and the rustling of leaves created by the wind.
Visitors here not only enjoy the fresh, cool air, relax before the cool scenery but also for those who like to cross the forest, explore the valley landscape, alleys, hunt for strange flowers along the road or sit swaying on the crossroads to admire the panorama of the valley. Moreover, visitors can immerse themselves on mossy rocks or lush green grass, or fragrant mountain leaf carpets, close their eyes to think about sweet memories. If you are lucky enough to visit Mu Nau Valley during the blooming season, you will see a pure white sky. The first thing tourists do when they come here is to capture the moment when the old plum trees bloom with pure white flowers, tourists can easily take surreal photos without the need for photo editing tools.
