Khởi My, born Trần Khởi My on January 2, 1990, is a popular Vietnamese singer. She spent her childhood with her mother in Long Khánh Town, Đồng Nai Province. In 2007, Khởi My moved with her mother to Ho Chi Minh City, facing many financial difficulties. However, not long after, she won first place in the 'Tiếng hát học đường' contest. After this success, she disappeared from the entertainment scene.
In 2009, Khởi My returned to the spotlight as a host on a youth-oriented channel, Yeah1 TV.
