How to play: Each student receives a white sheet of paper. Divide the class into 3 groups. Each group gets a sentence. Group members will find words according to the given requirements. The group that connects the most words within the specified time wins.
7. Quiz Game
Objective:
- Review learned knowledge; practice quick reactions, observation skills, accurate judgment, and time management.
- Foster self-discipline and team spirit.
Preparation:
- Teachers: prepare a set of questions and answers.
- Students: true/false cards.
Organization: Divide the class into 2 teams, appoint 2 referees.
Method 1: Teachers introduce each question in turn, students use evaluation boards to answer, referees monitor and summarize. The team with fewer incorrect answers wins.
Method 2: Teachers let students work independently, sequentially provide answers, students check their work; voluntarily answer using cards.
Referees monitor and summarize.
With this game, teachers can use it for all exercises on comparison, amplification, review of punctuation marks, sentence patterns.
8. Endurance Challenge
Objective:
Expand vocabulary; cultivate quick reflexes, sharpen intelligence.
Preparation:
Prepare a supplementary board with solutions to add some words after the game ends that students have not found.
Organization:
Organize into 2 competitive teams, with an equal number of students in each team.
After defining the terms used to name word groups, ask students to list the words belonging to those groups.
The teacher simply initiates the endurance start: Successively, each student from the 2 teams takes turns writing one word on the board. At the end of the game, the team that writes the most and correct words will win.
