Assorted styles of footwear
Various types of footwear are among the leading export items in Vietnam, with this group primarily exported to markets such as the EU, the US, and with a predominant presence of FDI enterprises in this sector dominating the country's export turnover. Despite the generally good quality of these items, they are primarily exported due to limited domestic demand. In recent years, efforts to promote 'Made in Vietnam' products among Vietnamese consumers have been made, but the effectiveness remains questionable, with imports still prevalent and the export of high-quality products proving crucial. Consequently, while export turnover for this category continues to increase annually, its economic and social impact is debatable, with consumer benefits being compromised.

Textile and garment products have been leading in export turnover for a significant period. Similar to electronic components, textile and garment products are primarily exported by foreign-invested companies (as of 2016, over 60% of export turnover came from goods produced by foreign-invested enterprises). Vietnam's textile and garment products are incredibly diverse and rich, especially traditional designs, patterns, and materials, which are well-received in many markets. These products are mainly exported to demanding markets such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, and receive substantial support from customers in these countries. Vietnam is known for its meticulous and skilled workforce, which contributes to the meticulous craftsmanship and creativity in producing beautiful and sophisticated textile and garment products that are warmly embraced by consumers worldwide.

Coffee
Vietnam's coffee is known as one of the distinguished coffee brands in the global market. It has been a major export item for our country in recent years. The annual increase in coffee export turnover demonstrates the continued positive reception of coffee in the market. Like other products, the primary export markets for coffee are the United States and EU countries. Despite the presence of many renowned coffee brands worldwide, Vietnamese coffee brands have maintained customer trust and are gaining recognition in the global coffee community.

Seafood Products
Seafood is one of Vietnam's major agricultural exports, highly sought after in many developed countries. The United States stands as the largest market for Vietnamese seafood exports, accounting for nearly 30% of the country's seafood export revenue, followed by the EU and Japanese markets. Vietnam places great emphasis on the export of this product, investing in supportive policies to facilitate the export process. Despite the substantial export volume annually, challenges arise when these products reach the global market.

Wood and wood-related products
Vietnam has emerged as a key wood processing hub in Asia. The export and expansion of Vietnam's wood and wood product exports play a significant role in the supply of imported wood materials.

Crude Oil
Crude oil is a significant export product, given that our country lacks the technology for full refining, leading to both significant exports and reliance on foreign markets. In recent years, crude oil exports have gradually declined, along with decreasing crude oil prices, providing an opportunity for Vietnam to focus on processing to create higher-value products. Our crude oil is mainly exported to industrialized and developed countries such as Singapore, Japan, China, and some others. However, this export only brings a small portion of benefits while we have to import highly refined products at high prices.

Rubber
Vietnamese rubber is primarily exported to markets such as China, EU countries, India, and Southeast Asia. Among these, China stands as the largest market, accounting for 64.84% of total rubber exports, reaching 623.91 thousand tons valued at 842.94 million USD, representing an 11.30% increase in quantity and a 9.47% increase in value compared to the same period in 2018. The average export price was 1351.05 USD/ton, a decrease of 1.64% compared to the same period in 2018. Following China is India, accounting for 8.35% of exports with 80.39 thousand tons valued at 116.04 million USD, marking a 51.62% increase in quantity and a 47.42% increase in value compared to the same period in 2018. The average export price increased by 2.77% to reach 1351.05 USD/ton. Additionally, in August 2019, exports to India reached 13.91 thousand tons valued at 20.66 million USD, with an average price of 1485.01 USD/ton, representing a 2.57% decrease in quantity and a 3.23% decrease in value compared to July 2019. However, the average price increased by 8.14% compared to August 2018. Apart from the mentioned markets, Vietnam also exports rubber to other markets such as the United States, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
