The entire complex consists of 4 towers, situated on a gently sloping hill just about 100 meters above sea level. Built in the 10th century, it is an ancient Cham relic with diverse and rich architectural styles, strongly influenced by Cham-pa art but still bearing a unique essence of this martial land. Bánh Ít Tower is conveniently located near National Highway 1A, making it easy for tourists to visit during their Binh Dinh travel.
The main tower faces East, being the largest and centrally positioned on the hill. Surrounded by 3 smaller towers, it creates a strange world that, once stepped into, gives travelers the feeling of reversing time and immersing themselves in the mysterious land of Cham-pa. The vividly carved bas-reliefs on the main tower depict lively dancing poses, captivating visitors.

Nui Ba is a resilient revolutionary stronghold of the military and people of Binh Dinh during the resistance against the United States. Positioned strategically in the East Region, Nui Ba holds a vital strategic position in Binh Dinh province, convenient for both maritime and overland transportation. From a military perspective, Nui Ba serves as both a strategic defensive position and an offensive position when the opportunity arises. Controlling Nui Ba means controlling the East Region of Binh Dinh. Hence, Nui Ba was chosen as the revolutionary base of the East Region of Binh Dinh province.
During the resistance against the French, Nui Ba had not yet become a base, but coastal watchtowers were established to alert the local residents whenever the French landed. Throughout the nine years of the anti-French resistance, most revolutionary bases in Binh Dinh were located here. During the Vietnam War, Nui Ba Revolutionary Base was reinforced, becoming a stronghold for the provincial forces and neighboring districts including Tuy Phuoc, An Nhon, Phu Cat, and Quy Nhon.
The revolutionary base of Nui Ba, like a caring and nurturing mother, sheltered and concealed revolutionary forces throughout the harsh war. Nui Ba recorded countless achievements of officers and soldiers, acknowledged the sacrifices, and deeply engraved the sins committed by the deceptive United States against our people. Those who lived and fought in Nui Ba Revolutionary Base perhaps will never forget the memories of the harsh wartime. Landmarks such as Zone 10, Khu Dong Station, Bup Sen Hill, Vinh Hoi, Ho Nhay, Rung Cave, Son Rai... are unforgettable images. And perhaps no location here lacks profound memories for those who lived and fought on the East Region battleground.
