Actor Cao Minh Đạt, born on April 22, 1975, is a renowned Vietnamese actor, especially celebrated for his work in the 2000s. He is widely recognized for roles such as Dr. Trần Tạo in Blouse Trắng, Khiêm in Vòng xoáy tình yêu, and Cậu Ba Khải Duy in Tiếng sét trong mưa, all of which have earned him widespread admiration.
Cao Minh Đạt's acting career began smoothly from the start. His first role in the 1995 fairy tale movie Vua Heo was a hit with audiences, even while he was still in his first year of college. With his fresh, humble looks and expressive, soulful eyes, he quickly became the go-to actor for leading roles in shows like Những đứa con thành phố, Con nhà nghèo, Bến sông trăng, and Xe tăng 301. The early 2000s marked the height of his career, where he became a regular on television with major hits like Blouse Trắng, Vòng xoáy tình yêu, Hoa thiên điểu, Tham vọng, Mùi ngò gai, and Lục Vân Tiên. 2. Chiến Thắng
Actor Chiến Thắng, whose full name is Nguyễn Chiến Thắng, was born on July 14, 1975. He is a renowned comedian known for his witty humor and ability to bring joy and laughter to audiences. Chiến Thắng became widely recognized through works such as Làng ế vợ, Nói xấu vợ, and many other popular productions.
Chiến Thắng studied vocal music at the Military College of Culture and Arts, graduating in 1998. His big break came in 2001 when he joined the production team of the popular TV show Gặp nhau cuối tuần on Vietnam Television. In 2003, during the inaugural season of Gala Cười, Chiến Thắng, along with fellow artists Công Lý and Hiệp Gà, performed the skit “Thử lòng” for the 2003 Gala Cười. Around the Lunar New Year of 2014, he took on the role of Nam Tào in the Táo Quân program on VTC. Chiến Thắng also participated in the situational comedy show Ơn giời! Cậu đây rồi, where he appeared in episode 2 as one of the guests and won the program’s trophy for his quick wit and comedic timing.
In 2013, Chiến Thắng released a humorous music album titled Cho vừa lòng em, which features seven songs that became beloved by audiences during his nationwide performances.


3. Đức Thịnh
Director Đức Thịnh, whose full name is Đỗ Đức Thịnh, was born on December 24, 1975. He is a prominent actor, director, and screenwriter in Vietnam. Đức Thịnh is known as one of the most talented young directors in the country, with a deep commitment to preserving and advancing the rich legacy of Vietnamese theater. In 2011, he was honored with the title of Meritorious Artist.
He began his acting career in 2001 at the Phú Nhuận Drama Stage, a part of the Hồng Vân Theater Company, owned by the famous artist Hồng Vân. In 2002, he directed his first play, Sâm đắng sâm ngọt. His big break in film came in 2008 when he played a role in the popular series Cô gái xấu xí, and his fame grew steadily from there. Đức Thịnh became known for his work in hit films such as Trạng Quỳnh, Mai dai, Siêu sao siêu ngố, and Anh Thầy ngồi sao. He has also appeared in many successful TV programs, notably Gala Cười, Ơn giời, Cậu đây rồi, and Gương mặt thân quen season 7. After marrying actress Thanh Thúy, they decided to co-found their own film production company.
As a director, Đức Thịnh's film Ma dai was a massive box-office success, earning nearly 20 billion VND. Riding on this success, the couple produced several other films, including Taxi em tên gì, Scandal, Siêu sao siêu ngố, and Trạng Quỳnh. Notably, the film Siêu sao siêu ngố grossed over 150 billion VND. Today, Đức Thịnh is a well-known director and film producer in the industry.


4. Hoài Tâm
Actor Hoài Tâm, born on May 13, 1975, is a renowned overseas comedy performer from the Thúy Nga Center. Although he was born in Vietnam, he now resides in California. Hoài Tâm has participated in numerous comedic sketches and has released nearly 20 DVD comedy albums. He is best known for his collaboration with comedian Việt Hương, a duo beloved by audiences both in Vietnam and abroad.
Despite having a “unique” appearance, Hoài Tâm has cleverly turned this into his distinctive charm. With his witty and expressive performance style, he has brought laughter to audiences worldwide. His comedic roles often involve him cross-dressing, adding an extra layer of humor to his performances. Some of his most memorable sketches, particularly those with Việt Hương, include: Những vụ cướp bất hủ, Ai trả tiền, Hãy trả lời em, Bí kíp võ công, Ma có thật không, and Khi xưa ta bé. Hoài Tâm and Việt Hương have toured extensively in countries like the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Canada. Although he started as an amateur actor, his dedication has earned him a solid place in the hearts of overseas Vietnamese audiences.

5. Nguyên Vũ
Singer Nguyên Vũ, whose real name is Lê Nguyên Vũ, was born on August 4, 1975. He is a famous Vietnamese singer, actor, MC, and television judge. Nguyên Vũ rose to fame in the 1990s with numerous hits, becoming a household name and dominating the music market with his albums.
Nguyên Vũ began his artistic career in 1998 and by 1999, he became an exclusive singer for the Vafaco music center. He also served as the deputy director of Nhạc Xanh music company. Later, he pursued a solo career in music and also ventured into acting. His debut film role was in the television series Lục Vân Tiên produced by TFS. He later appeared in several other films including Dollar trắng, Tấm hộ chiếu vào đời, Những cuộc tình trắng đen, Lấy Vợ Sài Gòn, and Chuông Reo Là Bắn. In addition to his singing career, he also worked as a host for the first season of Vietnam Idol and several other HTV shows, including large-scale music events and game shows.
After 25 years in the entertainment industry, Nguyên Vũ continues to be highly regarded by his fans. He regularly appears on television as a judge in various game shows, acts in films, and performs in concerts. Besides his music career, he has also ventured into business.


6. My Linh
Singer My Linh, whose real name is Do My Linh, was born on August 19, 1975. She is a renowned Vietnamese singer, lyricist, TV personality, and vocal coach. My Linh is regarded as a pioneer of R&B music in Vietnam since the late 1990s, and she is one of the four artists officially recognized as a Diva of Vietnam.
Throughout her career, My Linh has released 15 studio albums. Her 1998 album, Toc Ngan (Short Hair), marked her first collaboration with the band Anh Em, and it became a major hit in the Vietnamese pop music scene. The album produced several big hits, including "Huong Ngoc Lan", "Chuyen Tinh", "Trua Vang", and "Toc Ngan". She remains one of Vietnam's best-selling music artists, with over 2 million copies sold nationwide. Known for her successful songs celebrating spring, particularly "Thi Tham Mua Xuan" and "Khuc Giao Mua", the media often refers to her as the "Queen of Spring Music". In 2014, My Linh received World Music Awards nominations in three categories: "Best Female Artist", "Best Live Performer", and "Entertainer of the Year", and she has also won four prestigious Cong Hien Awards.
In 2014, she and Anh Em band established the YOUNGbeat School of Music, which offers courses in vocal performance, international instruments, traditional Vietnamese instruments, music composition, and music education for young children.


7. Van Dung
Comedian Van Dung, whose full name is Le Van Dung, was born on October 11, 1975. She is widely regarded as the leading female comedian in Northern Vietnam. A talented actress and comedian, she became well-known through her appearances on the popular programs "Doi Cuoi" (The Laughter of Life) by the Youth Theatre, followed by "Gap Nhau Cuoi Nam" (Year-End Meeting), "Gap Nhau Cuoi Tuan" (Weekend Meeting), and the comedy Gala aired by Vietnam Television.
In 1992, she participated in the Tiền Phong newspaper's Miss Contest and was selected as one of the top 15 contestants. This marked the beginning of her swift and smooth transition into the world of entertainment. Van Dung has worked in both comedy and film, but she is best loved by audiences for her comedic talent. She became famous for her roles in sketches on "Gap Nhau Cuoi Tuan" and the year-end comedy special, "Tao Quan". When people think of Van Dung, they often remember her charming face, sharp-tongued voice, and natural comedic delivery. It's safe to say she is one of the most well-known comedic performers in Vietnam.
The actress is known for her unique character, always able to leave a strong impression on her audience. However, few are aware that in real life, she is a person who can be both quick to smile and quick to feel sadness, someone who is gentle yet full of life's struggles. She has two children and a very happy family.


8. Duy Manh
Singer Duy Manh, born Nguyen Duy Manh on May 22, 1975, is a Vietnamese singer and songwriter. He gained recognition starting in 2005 with his debut album "Tinh Em La Dai Duong" (Your Love is the Ocean), which featured a series of songs that became major hits in Vietnam at the time.
Duy Manh was raised in a family of musicians, with his brother being a saxophonist. He studied at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, majoring in Piano. From 1992 to 1998, he also studied music with renowned composers such as Nguyen Anh and Nguyen Quang. In 1998, he began performing in small venues such as coffee houses, bars, and pubs in Ho Chi Minh City, initially providing piano accompaniment for other singers and stepping in to sing backup when the main artist was unavailable. In 2002, he released his first self-produced music album featuring compositions from well-known musicians like Thuan Yen, Viet Anh, and Ha Dung. Duy Manh's breakthrough came in 2005 with the album "Tinh Em La Dai Duong", which included hit songs like "Hay Ve Day Ben Anh" (Come Back to Me), "Kiep Do Den" (The Fate of Red and Black), "Tinh Em La Dai Duong" (Your Love is the Ocean), and "Ta Dau Co Say" (We Are Not Drunk).
Before rising to fame, Duy Manh lived alone in Ho Chi Minh City while his wife and child stayed in Hai Phong. Currently, Duy Manh, his wife, and their two children have all moved to Ho Chi Minh City.
