1. Thủy Tiên Waterfall
Thủy Tiên Waterfall is one of the newer, highly sought-after destinations for travelers in Dak Lak. This site showcases the pristine beauty of the Central Highlands mountains, paired with a majestic waterfall cascading down rocks stacked upon each other. Hidden behind the waterfall lies a fascinating mythological tale.
The journey to the waterfall itself is mesmerizing, with expansive coffee and rubber plantations along the way. From a distance, the white mist of the waterfall peeks through the early morning fog, creating an ethereal, fairy-tale-like atmosphere. Unlike waterfalls such as Dray Nur or Dray Sap, Thủy Tiên falls gradually in three distinct tiers. The playful rocks stacked on top of each other, intertwined with the lush greenery of the Central Highlands, captivate anyone who sees them.
The first tier features a gentle slope with many stone steps, making the water flow calmly. On either side, tree roots hang down like hammocks, forming a picturesque, serene landscape. The second tier is more unique, with stacked rocks creating a small pool in the center, resembling a natural mini swimming pool crafted by nature itself. The final tier of Thủy Tiên is the most dramatic. Initially, the water falls fiercely, crashing against jagged rocks below and creating a cloud of white foam, before suddenly calming and transforming into crystal-clear streams flowing serenely downstream. The abrupt transition leaves visitors in awe and amazement.
