6. Chua Chan Mountain
Chua Chan Mountain is the second tallest mountain in the South of Vietnam, after Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh, with an elevation of over 800 meters above sea level. Visiting Chua Chan not only offers an opportunity to exercise and enjoy scenic views but also provides fascinating spiritual experiences.
The name 'Chua Chan' comes from the Champa language, meaning 'mountain,' which explains its unique name. The mountain is also known by other names, such as Gia Ray or Gia Lao. As you climb its stairs or trek through the paths, you’ll feel immersed in nature, breathing in the rare cool air. Along the way, you’ll encounter quaint stalls, warm greetings, and small temples where monks practice their meditation, tucked away behind lush trees.
Recently, Chua Chan has been recognized as a national scenic heritage site, further boosting its popularity. During holidays, the mountain path is crowded with visitors, from families on sightseeing trips to those coming from afar to pray for peace at the temple. Recently, a cable car has been installed, reducing the journey from the base to the summit to just 15-20 minutes. Make sure to visit Chua Chan to experience its serenity firsthand.

7. Song Ray Lake
Song Ray Lake is an artificial lake that captivates with its stunning beauty. Whether it's the rainy season or dry season, the lake always looks like a living painting. In the rainy season, the lake’s deep green waters seem ready to overflow, while in the dry season, the water level recedes, revealing brown-red ‘islands’ with unique shapes and patterns, creating an unexpected sight.
Walking along the land that used to be submerged, visitors are amazed to find countless shells basking in the sun. Each step seems to touch the shells, which cling to rocks, tree roots, or scatter across the ground along the shore and in the lake’s bed. In areas where the water remains, a 'world' of shells continues to thrive, adding a distinct charm to Song Ray Lake – a perfect habitat for these shellfish, with dense populations and large quantities.
Covering over 2,503 hectares, the lake spans Cẩm Mỹ District in Đồng Nai, Xuyên Mộc, and Châu Đức in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. This beautiful lake is definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves taking selfies!

8. Ba Chong Rocks
About 40 km from Dầu Giây Junction, on National Road 20 heading toward Đà Lạt, you'll encounter three massive rocks precariously stacked on top of each other. These towering rocks stand 36 meters above the ground, with the highest one jutting out as if daring travelers to challenge its defiance.
Due to the rocks’ precarious positioning, climbing directly to the top is nearly impossible. The only way to explore Ba Chong Mountain is by following a trail and then climbing a narrow staircase to the summit, where a statue of Buddha overlooks the breathtaking, untouched beauty of the area. Along the way down, you can rest on large, flat rocks and enjoy a picnic while taking in the stunning landscape.
Did you know that right next to Ba Chong Rocks is Stone Mountain, also known as Elephant Mountain, because its shape resembles two elephants lying on their sides? At the summit stands a 20-meter-tall statue of Buddha, watching over the land. Opposite is the Dish Rock, a large, dish-like formation placed naturally on a smaller stone, rising 43 meters above the ground. Together with Stone Mountain, Dish Rock, Ba Chong Rocks, and hundreds of other uniquely shaped boulders, this place has become a famous landmark called Ba Chong Mountain.
Address: Định Quán, Định Quán District, Đồng Nai Province.
