The Fashion Design program has been offered at the university since 2001 and is one of the main programs of the Industrial Fine Arts Department.

The training objectives of the Fashion Design program at HUTECH University:
- Train students to perceive and capture contemporary fashion trends; develop the ability to complete works through a comprehensive process: ideation, material selection, design drafting - cutting - sewing, accessory design, and practical makeup; master the knowledge of quality management and fashion brand management.
- Additionally, students are provided with supportive skills including makeup, photography, design, and coordination of accessories, enabling them to confidently work in all aspects of the fashion industry.
