Every year, on November 20, students send their best wishes and creative gifts to their teachers. In the spirit of this celebration, forty-six students from class 11A2 came together to create a heartfelt story and song for their teachers.
After receiving approval from the school administration of Phu Cu High School, the class quickly got to work on a wall newspaper, alongside preparing a special art performance for Vietnam Teacher's Day, with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
Under the leadership of their dynamic class president, the wall newspaper was completed within just three days. Remarkably, this was after the class and the entire school had just finished a tense mid-term exam period. Despite the time crunch, the students put great effort into ensuring the newspaper was detailed and well-crafted.
On November 16, the Phu Cu High School organizing committee for the art and wall newspaper competition selected the best art performance and the most creative wall newspaper. The honors went to classes 12A7 and 10A1. While class 11A2 didn't win top prizes, we are confident that in the 2021-2022 school year, we will achieve even greater success.

As November arrives, it marks the time when both the teachers and students of Phu Cu High School, particularly the 12A9 class, come together to celebrate Vietnam Teacher's Day on November 20. We engage in meaningful activities to express our gratitude to our teachers while strengthening the bond between teachers and students, creating lasting memories for this special occasion. These activities are deeply significant and heartfelt gifts from the 12A9 class to our teachers.
First, our class and youth group are actively participating in the “excellent student” movement, striving to achieve top marks to offer as a token of appreciation for our teachers’ guidance.
Second, we joined the school’s art competition, where each of us was excited to dance and sing with all our heart. The event embodied the spirit of unity and collaboration, contributing to the school’s goal of building a happy school environment.
Third, we participated in a wall newspaper contest between classes. This collective activity allowed us to express our creativity and build strong relationships with our teachers. The theme of our 12A9 wall newspaper was “The Steersman,” featuring a thoughtful editorial, heartfelt poems about teachers, jokes, songs, and fun riddles.
These are the activities that we, as the 12A9 class, took part in to celebrate Vietnam Teacher's Day. With deep gratitude, we promise to continue excelling in our studies and character development, striving to be good students and worthy citizens, and we will never forget the lessons our teachers have imparted to us as we move forward in life. It is often said: 'There is a profession where chalk dust fills the hands, and it is called the noblest of all professions. There is a profession that does not plant trees in the soil, but still leaves behind sweet fruits and fragrant flowers for the world.' Indeed, this is the noble profession of teaching.
As Vietnam celebrates Teacher's Day on November 20, we, the students of class 11A6, join the nationwide excitement and enthusiasm. We are competing and engaging in various activities to commemorate this important occasion. These include participating in the school’s art contest, creating wall newspapers, and working hard to earn top grades as a tribute to our teachers.
Regarding the art contest: We have all been diligent in practicing, staying after class to rehearse, using free afternoons, and even 10-minute breaks during school hours to perfect our performance. Our class choreographed the dance ourselves. While it may not be as polished as other classes, it represents the effort and dedication of our dance team.
For the wall newspaper project: We chose the theme 'Teachers' to highlight the role of teachers, those silent steersmen of education. We aim to honor the sacred profession of teaching. Our wall newspaper was aptly named 'Teachers'—short, yet the most meaningful phrase that students can express. The group responsible for the wall newspaper worked tirelessly to create meaningful essays, poems, and editorials, pouring their thoughts and emotions into every word.
Finally, we worked hard to earn perfect grades, despite preparing for the wall newspaper and art contest. Even amidst these preparations, we never forgot our primary responsibility—studying. We doubled our efforts this November, striving to excel academically. As a result, the class has been buzzing with motivation, engaging more actively in lessons, reviewing old lessons before school, and following school rules.
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, everyone is caught in the flow of time. However, despite the busy schedules in November, we always prioritize preparing for the Teacher's Day celebration. We all want to express our deepest gratitude to our teachers with heartfelt wishes and meaningful actions.
'I write this poem for our teachers:
For days I've kept it in my heart,
Teachers, like fathers and mothers,
Gave us knowledge to grow strong.
Your hair is graying from the chalk dust,
Your eyes have darkened with the strain,
Every day, tirelessly beside the lesson plans,
To give us valuable lessons for life.'

With every lesson, we teach students the beauty of the written word and the importance of learning. Every day, they walk to school, ready to cultivate the seeds of knowledge that will grow into wisdom for all to follow.
In celebration of the 38th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2020), the Phu Cu High School organized various activities and competitions across different grades to honor this special day. The 12A7 class actively participated, engaging fully in all events and proudly earning deserving achievements.
Despite the time constraints of being in the final year and preparing for the upcoming national high school exam, the class members remained enthusiastic and committed to the Teachers' Day activities under the guidance of their dedicated homeroom teacher and the responsible leadership of the class committee.
In early November, the school launched a cultural performance and wall newspaper contest. After passing the preliminary round, the class advanced to the final round of the cultural competition on November 15, 2020. Despite some unfavorable weather conditions and tough competition from 15 other teams, the class delivered an outstanding performance and proudly claimed first place, along with the opportunity to perform again on November 20.
Alongside preparing for the performance, the 12A7 class also contributed creatively to the wall newspaper with their artistic talents, producing a meaningful and heartfelt creation. A day later, the class celebrated another victory by winning third place in the wall newspaper competition. These were joyous moments and unforgettable memories for all members of the 12A7 family at Phu Cu High School.
Furthermore, the class actively participated in the 'Flower of Ten Points for Teachers' initiative, which was launched by the school. Students worked diligently to achieve excellent academic results, receiving numerous 'perfect scores' that were recorded in their teachers' notebooks as a token of gratitude and respect.
These activities highlight the spirit of unity, creativity, and self-discipline within the 12A7 class. We remain deeply grateful for the guidance and care our teachers have provided and will continue striving to achieve the best academic results to honor their dedication and hard work. Celebrating the teacher is now a natural part of our culture, and the Teachers' Day events across all classes at school were vibrant and meaningful, expressing our sincere appreciation for our educators during this important month of November.

In line with the direction from the School's Youth Union, and in celebration of the 38th Vietnam Teachers' Day, the 12A3 class enthusiastically documented their activities during November.
For cultural and artistic activities, our class worked hard to contribute all our energy. This year, we participated in the cultural performance competition under the theme 'Teachers - School - Homeland,' which has become a prominent tradition in recent years. Our class took part with our student Trần Hương Giang performing the song 'The Teacher.'
In addition to the cultural performance, the school created a unique opportunity for us to not only showcase our talents but also express our heartfelt feelings towards our teachers—who are like second parents to us, especially as we approach the final chapter of our high school journey. This was the Wall Newspaper competition. With love and creativity, our class, led by Đoàn Đặng Nhật Minh and others, crafted a meaningful wall newspaper. Although luck wasn’t on our side this time and we didn't win, it was still an enriching experience and a memorable lesson. In addition, we had a chance to show our physical strength by participating in the 'Hội khỏe phù đổng' badminton competition, where Nguyễn Thanh Tùng represented us in the mixed doubles category.
Alongside these activities, we didn’t lose sight of our academic goals. After the first phase of the school year, we focused on preparing for the midterm exams, aiming for the best possible results. In November, we joined in the national teachers' day celebration by trying hard to achieve perfect scores, as a way to show our gratitude to our teachers.
November also marked the continued push toward our ultimate goal, which is the national high school exam. We dedicate ourselves every day to studying, helping one another, and striving to meet this crucial challenge.

As one of the main contributors to the wall newspaper of the 11A1 class, I can say that we poured our hearts and souls into creating this project.
Most of us have been classmates since elementary and middle school, and it’s been a long time since we last created a wall newspaper. Though our skills may have been a little rusty, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm in our hearts. We were determined to express our gratitude to the teachers who have guided us and helped our dreams take flight.
Every brushstroke, every word in the 'Thank You, Teacher' newspaper was carefully chosen, each detail representing the deep emotions we felt.
The title, 'Thank You, Teacher,' is a direct and sincere tribute. The words were written in bright red ink—why red? Red is the color of passion and dedication. It’s the color of the ink teachers use to mark our perfect scores. It’s the color of fire, the fire ignited in our hearts by our teachers. The red ink is our gift to our teachers, symbolizing our trust, enthusiasm, and everything wonderful we feel.
We also incorporated bamboo and young shoots, symbolizing the continuity of generations. 'Old bamboo, new shoots'—we are the new generation, ready to carry forward the legacy of our elders and contribute to Vietnam’s rise as a global power. We are deeply aware of our responsibilities and work hard, with the support of our teachers, to fulfill them. We are happy and grateful for this.
In the design of the wall newspaper, we also featured typical items associated with a teacher—books, glasses, pens, and ink bottles—all leading the focus back to the teacher.
Additionally, the newspaper was filled with vibrant flowers, symbolizing our best wishes for our teachers’ health and success in their noble work of nurturing future generations.
As for the content, words fall short of expressing everything we want to convey. The newspaper is more than just a project; it’s an emotional gift.
Ultimately, the Teachers' Day wall newspaper allowed us to express our deep gratitude and respect for our teachers on this important day. It also gave students from different classes a chance to showcase their talents and creativity. Personally, I am deeply thankful to the school for organizing such wonderful activities for us.

Every year, as the chill winds of autumn bring a slight crispness to the air and golden rays of sunlight dance on dry leaves, November arrives, filling us with nostalgia and emotions. There are those whose hair has turned gray with time, yet their hearts remain full of love and respect for their teachers, still remembering the first lessons learned. And today’s students continue to appreciate the efforts of their teachers. Right now, we are all united in honoring Teachers’ Day on November 20th.
The tradition of respecting teachers has always been a noble value of the Vietnamese people, from the first strokes of the alphabet taught by our teachers, to the lessons that guide us through life. With hearts full of love and dedication, teachers have always been the guiding force for generations of students, helping us reach our dreams.
1. Among the activities organized by the school, the first to mention is the cultural performance. The theme of the music and arts competition revolves around the school, teachers, friends, and the spirit of November 20th. It celebrates love for the homeland, the Party, the Youth Union, and President Ho Chi Minh, reflecting the hopes and responsibilities of the youth toward national renewal, and affirming Vietnam's territorial sovereignty. With a variety of performance styles, students expressed their creativity freely through solos, group songs, dances, and more. On November 8th, during the preliminary round, Class 12A6 confidently and joyfully performed, presenting their performance before teachers and students with excitement and energy.
2. Following this was the highly anticipated wall newspaper activity, one of the most exciting events to celebrate Vietnam Teachers’ Day. This collective activity, which provides a break from intense academic hours, allows students to fully unleash their creativity on the A0-sized paper provided by the school. The main theme, 'Respecting Teachers,' is reflected in the heartfelt essays, short stories, poems, and dedications created by the students of 12A6, showing their deep appreciation for their teachers and school. After days of effort, on November 15th, the 12A6 wall newspaper was presented to the teachers and students of the entire school.
3. Then, there were small but meaningful gifts to express gratitude on Teachers’ Day:
“To cross the river, build a bridge, to learn well, love your teacher.”
“A teacher for a word, a teacher for a lifetime.”
These sayings remind us of the sacred teacher-student relationship: to live with gratitude for those who guide and teach us, even in the smallest ways. Throughout history, the teaching profession has been considered the highest and most creative of all professions. As Prime Minister Pham Van Dong once said, 'No profession is nobler than teaching.' Teachers are the unsung heroes of the education system, much like boatmen who tirelessly steer their boats to success for each generation of students. Many teachers have become role models for their students to aspire to. Each year on November 20th, students and the public express their deep gratitude for the teachers’ contributions. Teachers not only impart knowledge but also teach us how to be good people, nurturing our dreams and ambitions. With each passing year, as teachers’ hair grays, the hopes and dreams of countless students are born. The generations of today will carry the torch forward, traveling the path laid by their teachers, who are the ones steering the boat to success. Some will succeed, others may fail, but one thing is certain: we will forever remember the sacrifices of our teachers. To show our appreciation, Class 12A6 has given small but meaningful gifts to our teachers.
4. Finally, the academic competition movement to celebrate Teachers' Day on November 20th is an important activity in our school. It encourages students to improve their study habits, develop cultural and disciplined living skills, and gradually build strong character. This also serves as the basis for evaluating students' conduct and achievements, with outstanding individuals and classes being honored on November 20th. Our class has also been actively participating in our studies, and several classmates have achieved perfect scores in recent tests.

Joining in the joyous atmosphere across the country to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (20/11/1982 – 20/11/2017), Hung Vuong High School launched a series of competitions for both teachers and students to honor this significant occasion.
The image of a teacher remains deeply engraved in the memory of every individual. Poet Thai Duong Lieu once wrote in his poem 'Teacher':
One lifetime of unwavering dedication
Heart as vast as the ocean: the teacher's heart
Countless boats ferrying students
Silently sowing seeds and nurturing life.
For generations, dedicated teachers have passed on the light of knowledge and compassion, contributing to the prosperity of our nation. Teachers, like silent boatmen, devote their lives to nurturing future generations. The tradition of honoring teachers is a cherished value of the Vietnamese people. In celebration of this spirit, Hung Vuong High School organized a range of activities for teachers and students to commemorate Teachers' Day 34 years (20/11/1982 – 20/11/2016).
Despite the challenges posed by heavy rain and flooding that submerged the school grounds, both teachers and students persevered to engage in activities celebrating the occasion. The most vibrant and anticipated event was the registration for the school's academic competitions, where 62 students achieved awards (1 second place, 8 third places, and 53 encouragement prizes). Additionally, students participated in the science fair, submitting projects for the school and provincial level exhibitions. During the 11th and 12th weeks of school, students eagerly registered for the 'Best Lesson' competition, preparing thoroughly with the guidance of teachers. The lessons were well-received, showcasing students' independence in research and knowledge acquisition.
As for the teachers, the school's union launched a campaign for the 'Best Lesson' competition and class demonstrations to celebrate Teachers' Day. Teachers enthusiastically organized innovative lessons, encouraging student-driven learning. The school's teaching demonstrations, which included subjects such as Geography, Math, Physics, and Biology, were highly effective and attended by educators across various disciplines for knowledge sharing and professional development.
Notably, several teachers were honored with prestigious awards in recognition of their dedication: Teacher Trinh Binh and Teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa received commendations from the Ministry of Education and Training, Teacher Pham Thi Ninh Thuy was awarded the title of Provincial Labor Hero, and Teacher Vo Ke Phuong and Teacher Le Dang Ngoc Thuy were recognized with provincial certificates of merit.
On the morning of 19th November 2017, following three lessons, the school held a ceremony to mark the 34th anniversary of Teachers' Day. The event was filled with warmth and camaraderie among teachers and students. During the ceremony, the school also held a gathering to honor former administrators and teachers. Teacher Vo Ke Phuong, Party Secretary and Deputy Principal, delivered a speech reflecting on the long-standing tradition of honoring teachers. The ceremony concluded with awards being presented to teachers in recognition of their achievements.
Celebrating teachers has become a natural expression of gratitude, and the activities organized at Hung Vuong High School have contributed to a successful and vibrant commemoration of Teachers' Day.
