2. Dai Lai Lake
Dai Lai Lake is located about 60km from Hanoi, making it easily accessible by car or motorbike. From Hanoi, head along National Highway 2, passing through the Thang Long-Noi Bai toll station, take the first left at the next intersection, turn right at the Xuan Hoa junction, and continue straight for about 10km to reach your destination. Due to its short distance, motorbike travel is also an option, but be cautious to ensure your safety along the route. Dai Lai Lake spans 525 hectares, surrounded by the vast greenery of protective forests.
In addition, visitors can explore the villages of the San Diu people, learning about their unique customs and enjoying delicious traditional dishes. Ngoc Island, also known as Bird Island, located in the middle of Dai Lai Lake, is home to hundreds of bird species from across the region, making this area resemble a vibrant natural painting that few places can match. When visiting Dai Lai, you can take part in a variety of outdoor activities such as swimming, pedal boating, and taking a boat tour around the nearby islands, enjoying the scenery and capturing beautiful photos. You can also visit the lush forested areas. If you stay overnight at Dai Lai, you can enjoy some local specialties at the chicken restaurants by the lake, though they can be quite pricey. Alternatively, if you're willing to travel a bit further, you can head back to Xuan Hoa town, about 3-4km from Dai Lai, to sample the famous local dish, buffalo meat.

3. Me Linh Flower Village
Me Linh is a historic region located along the Red River, known for its connection to the legendary Hai Ba Trung, whose story is a proud milestone in the history of Vietnam's struggle for independence. Today, Me Linh is also famous for its flower fields, situated in the northern part of Hanoi, within Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Vinh Phuc province.
Although it doesn't have the long history of other flower villages like Ngoc Ha or Nhat Tan, Me Linh has flourished in the market economy. It has transformed from a region traditionally known for growing staple crops into a vibrant flower-growing hub. Fields of colorful flowers such as violets, gladiolus, mimosa, chrysanthemums, Da Lat roses, French roses, dahlias, and lilies have replaced the green of rice and vegetables, bringing new hues to the local landscape.
The streets and alleys of Thanh Lam, Dai Thinh, and Van Khe communes have been paved, with modern houses replacing older ones. Many households now own cars and have access to modern appliances, improving both material and spiritual well-being. Children have better opportunities to attend school, and the people of Me Linh, though still relying on agriculture, no longer face the harsh working conditions and low income that once defined the region.

4. Binh Son Tower
Binh Son Tower (also known as Vinh Khanh Pagoda Tower or Then Tower) was built during the Tran Dynasty and is located within the grounds of Vinh Khanh Pagoda (Then Pagoda) in Binh Son village, Tam Son town, Song Lo district. This tower is a prime example of the pagoda and tower architecture from the Ly-Tran period in Vietnam, made from fired bricks during the Tran Dynasty, and is the tallest surviving structure from that era. With its graceful proportions, soft lines, and harmonious decoration, it stands as one of Vietnam's most important historical and artistic landmarks.
The remaining structure of the tower consists of 13,200 bricks. Inside, the tower features a small hollow core that runs from the base to the top. The tower’s body is built in two layers: the outer layer of bricks supports the weight, and a series of stepped brick tiers forms the roof. The exterior of the tower is adorned with intricate patterns, making it not only a historic site but also a cultural treasure of the northern midlands of Vietnam and the entire country.

5. Ba Ao Waterfall
Ba Ao Waterfall is located in the Tam Dao range, about 70 kilometers from Hanoi, in Trung My commune, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province. It’s an ideal destination for those looking to reconnect with unspoiled, fresh nature. The journey is long and filled with steep slopes, making it more suitable for experienced adventurers. The cool, refreshing air and the waterfall’s water cascading from 50 meters in height provide a perfect escape for visitors seeking relaxation after a hard work week. Alongside names like Tay Thien, Tam Dao, and Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Xa Huong Lake is also a must-visit destination. 7. Tay Thien Scenic Area
The first destination Mytour would like to introduce is the Tay Thien Scenic Area. Located about 25 km from Tam Dao resort, this ancient architectural complex blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural beauty of the mountains. Tay Thien is an eco-tourism destination located 66 km northwest of Hanoi, covering an area of approximately 148 hectares, in Dai Dinh, Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc. 8. Tuệ Đức Truc Lam Zen Monastery
Tuệ Đức Truc Lam Zen Monastery is located in Dong Que, Song Lo, Vinh Phuc, built on the ancient site of the Kim Ton Pagoda, a more than 700-year-old temple. The monastery carries forward the spiritual values of Buddhism, especially the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen lineage. It has become a prominent cultural and spiritual tourist destination for both locals and visitors. The peaceful atmosphere of the monastery provides a perfect retreat for travelers seeking rest after long, tiring work.
Situated in a beautiful location with views of the mountains and river, the main hall of the monastery is surrounded by three mountains, resembling a blooming lotus, spreading its fragrance throughout the area. The monastery is surrounded by colorful flower gardens, and from this vantage point, one can take in the vast, undulating mountains. An Tâm Truc Lam Zen Monastery was established in late 2008 on the site of the ancient Chi Vo Pagoda, spanning over 5 hectares. The monastery is especially busy during the Tây Thiên Festival when pilgrims and tourists come to pay homage to the Buddha and enjoy the tranquil beauty of this sacred site. Visitors often indulge in simple yet delicious vegetarian meals while exploring the area.
