State Capital Investment and Business Corporation is a state-owned joint-stock company regarded as the National Investment Fund of Vietnam. Established on June 20, 2005, under the authorization of Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, it is part of a series of reforms aimed at enhancing the efficiency of state capital utilization. SCIC was established to reduce investments in domestic companies and government agencies within the Vietnamese government, simultaneously diversifying its shareholding. SCIC commenced operations in August 2006 and, as of May 30, 2012, has approximately 416 affiliated companies in its investment portfolio.

7. Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN)
Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has experienced rapid development since its establishment in 1977, and its activities, through various subsidiaries and wholly-owned companies, now encompass all aspects from oil and gas exploration and production to storage, processing, transportation, distribution, and related services. Wholly owned by the Vietnamese government, it is responsible for all domestic oil and gas resources and has become the country's largest oil producer and the second-largest power producer after EVN, in the current period.

8. Vietnam Dairy Company Limited (Vinamilk)
Vinamilk, a well-known Vietnamese dairy processing company, is the largest food processing company in Vietnam, dealing in various dairy products, including its main products: milk and yogurt. It is believed to hold about 50% of the Vietnamese milk market. Established in 1976, it was listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange in 2006. The government owns 45% of the company. Its high potential is also recognized internationally, with foreign investors holding 49% of the company's shares. Its market capitalization is the second-largest in Vietnam, around 5.5 billion USD.

The average salary for Vinamilk employees ranges from 10 million VND/month. Specifically, the basic salary for sales staff is 4 to 5 million VND/month, customer care employees have a basic salary of 4.3 million VND/month, and all these salaries do not include commissions or sales bonuses.


9. Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company Limited
Samsung Electronics is one of the world's largest electronic device manufacturers with a revenue of 177 billion USD and a post-tax profit of 16.8 billion USD in 2015.
