1. Introducing You to My Family's No. 1 Abode
Our home resides deep within a serene, narrow alleyway. Despite its secluded location, it brims with laughter and warm affection. Adorned with a dark brown wooden door, our three-story abode exudes charm. The living room, perpetually tidy, hosts an array of furnishings: a set of chairs, a television, vases of flowers...
What captivates me most are the paintings and photographs adorning the winding staircase. Ascending it leads to my parents' and elder brother's bedrooms. On the balcony, my mother nurtures pots of orchids, sunflowers, and vibrant roses, embellishing our home and endearing it to me even more.

Each person is born with a place to grow up, to mature, witnessing the first tentative steps of life, imprinting countless indelible memories. That place is home. I, too, have a beautiful home that I deeply cherish. I once heard a verse: 'In my house hangs a picture of Uncle Ho/ Above is a bright red flag.' My house doesn't hang a picture of Uncle Ho; my father has a few books about him, that's all. My father says the house was built 10 years ago, when I was born, but it was renovated 5 years ago, making it look much more spacious and well-equipped. The exterior of our house is painted green, a color I adore because it evokes a sense of freshness and gentleness. The interior is painted a light yellow. My father says yellow symbolizes warmth because he always wishes for our family to be happy and warm, just like our home. Our family home has 4 rooms: a spacious living room in the middle, two bedrooms for my parents and my two older sisters, and the remaining one is the kitchen, fully equipped. In our family's living room, there is a set of earth-toned chairs. That's where my sisters and I often play when our parents are away.

Every time school ends, I return to my familiar home. It's a place filled with cherished memories and loving family. For years, I've been embraced in the tender care of my parents. Our house sits in the outskirts of the district, a modest two-story home with an iron gate always shut. Row of hedge plants line the fence. Stepping into the backyard, one sees persimmon trees, especially beautiful when they bloom, clusters of white clouds dotting the branches.
Sitting indoors, especially on beautiful mornings or quiet summer afternoons, I can hear the melodious chirping of birds perched on the trees in our front yard, a delightful and enticing sound. Particularly during harvest season, stepping into the yard, I catch the scent of hay wafting from the drying yard. The golden color of the dried hay seems to tell me, 'Harvest season has returned.'

My home isn't built with reinforced concrete and steel. It's crafted from humble bamboo, a tribute to my ancestors. Comprising three sections—living room, bedroom, and dining area—each meticulously organized and tidy. Stepping inside, a refreshing coolness envelops me instantly. The rooms are adorned with tasteful decor. The first room houses an ancestral altar and a set of rosewood chairs. To the left stands the television cabinet, also serving as the guest reception area where my family gathers in the evenings. Adjacent is the bedroom divided into three compartments: one for my parents, one for my two siblings doubling as a study area. I find immense comfort here. Further inside lies the kitchen, a small room with a window overlooking the fields behind. I hold deep affection for my home, as it holds countless cherished memories. It's where my heart finds contentment amidst the dearth of daily life.

Happiness fills me every time after school as I return to my beloved home. Nestled behind the cool shade of tamarind and banyan trees, our humble abode stands. Did you know? Everyone in this world has a place to live, to grow up, and that's called home. I also deeply cherish my home, a familiar image ingrained in my mind. It's a two-story house, quite grand with its gray-white paint, exuding a modern vibe. Despite its compact appearance, the architecture is meticulously designed for convenience. Upon entering, the first room is the living room, followed by the kitchen. The second floor is divided into 3 separate rooms: one for worship and two bedrooms. The tidiness of our home is maintained by my mother's diligent hands. It's cozy in winter and cool in summer. I truly love my home because it's intertwined with my childhood and the loved ones within.

I was born in a bustling and crowded city. Since childhood, I have grown up in an apartment building located in the eastern part of the city, a unit on the 4th floor, but I still prefer to call it a home. Every day, my parents and I take the elevator up to our home, reaching it just after the first corner. From the outside, there's only an iron gate; upon opening it, there's a thick wooden door leading to the interior space. Our home has a small living room with modern decor, predominantly red and white, very stylish. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen. Soft yellow lights make the kitchen look clean and warm, where my family gathers for meals. On the other side of the living room is a short hallway leading to 3 rooms. The two bedrooms are adjacent to each other, quite spacious, and have airy windows. From my bedroom, I can admire the beautiful sunrise. Next to the bedrooms is a study room, equipped with a computer and a large bookshelf for my parents' convenience. On the bookshelf, there are various peculiar books, some thick as bricks, while others are densely packed with words. Another direction from the living room leads to a balcony. The balcony is protected by a high railing, so there's no fear of danger. This is where I often help my mother with laundry. Although our home isn't large, it has a sense of closeness that can only be felt when you're at your own home. I feel most comfortable when I'm rolling around on the carpet, just like when I was in kindergarten. I deeply cherish my home.

After a tiring day of work and study, each of us has a place full of love to come back to. That's home. I'm no exception. And that's why I love my home so much. My home was built quite a while ago. It's a cute little house with many windows. In front of the house is a paper flower trellis with beautiful flowers resembling butterflies. The house consists of three rooms: a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom. The living room is painted with a gentle green color, very soothing, especially on hot summer days. On the left side of the room is a small brown-yellow sofa set. Opposite it is a TV stand and a display for souvenirs. On the right side of the room is the hallway leading from the entrance to the kitchen and bedroom. Next to the living room is the bedroom. It's a small, beautifully painted purple room. Lastly, there's the kitchen, painted yellow. Next to the hallway door is the refrigerator. On the left side of the room is the kitchen table and cabinets. In the middle of the room is the dining table set. Here, my family has had countless warm and joyful meals. What I love most about my home is that it has many windows. I like standing in front of those transparent glass panels, looking outside, especially when it's raining. The home is a place that holds so many memories of my family. I love my home very much.
