As one of the hottest male singers in Vbiz, Sơn Tùng M-TP receives immense love from fans and is always welcomed on stage. However, inviting Sơn Tùng M-TP is not an easy task, especially considering the rumored exorbitant fee he commands.
Sơn Tùng M - TP is a singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor in Vietnam. There were rumors that a show had to spend 1.2 billion VND for Sơn Tùng to perform at a bar in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

2. Ngọc Sơn
Ngọc Sơn, a Vietnamese singer and songwriter known as the 'sentimental music king' or 'Michael Ngọc Sơn.' He gained fame with self-composed songs like Solitary Moon, Father's Love, which are widely admired.
Singer Ngọc Sơn has maintained a consistent income for 30 years in the music industry. In a press interview, composer Phú Quang revealed: 'In the past, Ngọc Sơn had a very high income. Saigonese singers like Bảo Yến, Nhã Phương were paid around one and a half hundred, singers from the North like Thanh Lam were paid one hundred, but Ngọc Sơn had to be seven and a half hundred.' Recently, some show organizers in the North stated that he usually receives 200 to 300 million VND for a performance.
Despite being over 50, Ngọc Sơn's allure has not diminished but has only increased, firmly holding a special place in the hearts of the audience. Shows featuring Ngọc Sơn always sell out and receive enthusiastic feedback from attending fans.


3. Bằng Kiều
Bằng Kiều - full name Nguyễn Bằng Kiều, born in 1973 in Hanoi, is a highly successful Vietnamese singer. Bằng Kiều has participated in bands like Chìa khóa vàng, Hoa sữa, Quả dưa hấu and later pursued a solo career, earning much love from the audience.
Bằng Kiều's style is influenced by musician Dương Thụ, and his songs are known for their purity and romanticism rather than being heavy or gloomy. His musical activities are mainly in the overseas Vietnamese community, with a notable presence at Thúy Nga Center.
Despite being banned from performing in Vietnam in 2004 due to controversies and statements, the name Bằng Kiều still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. During his performance in 2013, Bằng Kiều's manager received a fee of 1 billion VND for two nights in Hanoi and Quang Ninh. Moreover, in the recent concert on March 8th at the National Convention Center, his performance fee was 18,000 USD, equivalent to 400 million VND.


4. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng
Đàm Vĩnh Hưng born Huỳnh Minh Hưng, also known as Mr. Đàm, is a Vietnamese singer. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng is an artist who has won 2 Dedication Awards and many other awards in the country. In fact, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng has always been known as the top-paid artist in the Vietnamese showbiz. According to a big show organizer, Đàm Vĩnh Hưng's performance fee ranges from 7,000 USD to 15,000 USD/show.
In 2012, the Vietnamese music icon stirred controversy with the news of being invited to sing at the wedding of a tycoon's son in Hà Tĩnh province with a staggering performance fee of 400 million VND. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng was invited to appear and entertain at the wedding, and he agreed to sing without limitations as per the requests of the guests during the banquet.


5. Mỹ Tâm
Mỹ Tâm - full name Phan Thị Mỹ Tâm is a Vietnamese female singer, songwriter, director, and actress. Born in 1981 in Đà Nẵng, she early on showed a talent for music and won consecutively in many singing competitions in her teenage years.
Previously involved in a scandal regarding her high performance fee during a show in her hometown Đà Nẵng in 2013. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Đà Nẵng shared that the proposed fee of 120 million VND by Mỹ Tâm for two nights of performance was unreasonable and not acceptable. However, event organizers argued that with the stature of Mỹ Tâm, such a fee was entirely justifiable for an internationally-oriented performance.
More recently, on January 10, 2020, Vũ Hà shared a video capturing the moment Đàm Vĩnh Hưng was watching a news segment discussing Mỹ Tâm's wealth. When the segment mentioned Mỹ Tâm's performance fee ranging from 300-500 million VND/show, it was considered a staggering figure in the Vietnamese singer community.

6. Lệ Quyên
Lệ Quyên - real name Vũ Lệ Quyên is a Vietnamese female singer. Born in 1981 in the capital city Hanoi, into a family rich in artistic tradition, with a father in literature and a mother as a traditional operetta singer, Lệ Quyên early on displayed innate musical talent from a young age.
Although not disclosing her current performance fee, Lệ Quyên once shared, 'I was invited to sing at a wedding in Ho Chi Minh City. I told them I wouldn't sing, but if I did, it would be at a very high price. I 'shouted' 15,000 USD (about 300 million VND) to make them give up the idea, but surprisingly, they agreed.'

7. Binz
Lê Nguyễn Trung Đan (born May 24, 1988), commonly known as Binz or Binz Da Poet, is a Vietnamese-American rapper and songwriter.
Within the Vietnamese rap scene, Binz's performance fee has surprised many as it was revealed to be around 400 - 450 million VND for a single show. This information caught many off guard because, despite Binz's fame, his music doesn't seem to resonate with all audiences. It's undeniable that Binz's name gained widespread recognition after becoming a coach on 'Rap Viet' and the success of the hit song 'Big Cityboi,' which garnered a high number of views and created a crowd-pulling effect.
Currently, he is a male rapper with a large fan base, invited to numerous events big and small, hence his current performance fee is not difficult to understand, as some audience opinions suggest.

8. Quang Lê
Similar to Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, Quang Lê was invited to perform at the wedding of a wealthy family's daughter in Hà Tĩnh, with a performance fee exceeding 400 million VND. Sharing about this staggering fee, Quang Lê stated: 'I don't have a close relationship with the groom's family, but I was invited to the wedding through the management of singer Phi Nhung. He called from the U.S. saying that a wedding wanted to invite me to sing with a performance fee 3 - 4 times higher than singing in Vietnam and 5 times higher than singing in the U.S. At first, I thought it was a joke, but after 2 days, they transferred a very large amount of money to me. Since then, I thought this was not a joke and accepted the offer.'
Although he has not disclosed his performance fee, many believe that the amount Quang Lê received is comparable to Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, around 200 million VND or more.

9. Thu Phương
Thu Phương - real name Nguyễn Thị Thu Phương, born in 1972, is a Vietnamese pop singer. In the 80s, Thu Phương was the lead singer in the Tây Hồ rock band. In the 90s, she officially became an actress at the Youth Theater. In her singing role, she has won many domestic music awards during the Green Wave era and other awards.
According to showbiz insiders, Thu Phương's performance fee is around 300 million VND, only 50 million VND less than Bằng Kiều. However, after deducting significant expenses for hiring someone to take care of her child in the U.S. and for meals and transportation, Thu Phương's performance fee is only around 100 million VND.
