Autumn isn't just a 'specialty' of Europe and America but also the most beautiful time of the year in many Asian countries. With travel costs becoming more affordable, Vietnamese tourists are increasingly seeking out 'fairyland' destinations during the golden autumn in Japan, South Korea, and China.
Nami Island, South Korea
Nami Island, not far from the center of the capital Seoul, attracts a large number of tourists due to its convenient transportation. Especially in autumn, the island welcomes a huge influx of visitors, filling the romantic streets with golden leaves. This is also the filming location for the movie 'Winter Sonata,' which has deeply touched many generations of Vietnamese audiences. The path where the two main characters ride bicycles has become an iconic scene that every visitor here must capture.
The fastest way to reach Nami is by subway to Gapyeong station (with one transfer), then taking a train to the island (less than 10 minutes). The entrance fee is around 150,000 Vietnamese dong. Currently, airfare to Seoul from Vietnam is becoming increasingly affordable, attracting a large number of tourists.
Jiuzhaigou, China
In recent years, most travel companies have been offering tours to Jiuzhaigou in autumn due to the increasing demand for visits to this 'heavenly paradise' that is becoming more and more crowded. Because transportation can be quite difficult, many people have turned to these assistance services.
Jiuzhaigou is located in Sichuan Province (China), in the 'deep mountains and tranquil waters' area but is nicknamed the 'fairyland scenery' because the scenery here throughout the year always captivates travelers.
Especially in autumn, the carpets of leaves around the waterfalls and lakes on the mountain start to turn yellow, red, casting shadows on the crystal-clear water, creating a stunning picture that touches the heart. Therefore, despite the remote location, the number of visitors to Jiuzhaigou increases every year.

Kyoto, Japan
Autumn's red leaves in Japan have long been on the bucket list of travelers worldwide. From north to south, Japan is adorned with shades of red and yellow under the cool, crisp weather. However, when it comes to admiring red leaves, no place rivals the ancient capital of Kyoto.
Maple trees dominate Kyoto's landscape during this season. As autumn sets in, leaves gradually transition from green to vibrant red around ancient temples, stone and wooden bridges, casting reflections on the serene lake surface, creating a breathtaking scenery beyond words. Autumn in Kyoto sets the standard for fall beauty in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Airfares from Vietnam to Japan have always been high but have shown some signs of decrease in recent years.
